Alternate Perspective - Deviant Perspective View File Description In the spirit of bound alternate start mods like Live A Deviant Life for ASLAL, Deviant Perspective offers a selection of bound alternate start scenarios for users of Alternate Perspective! Each starting option equips the player with a thematic set of Devious Devices, and ports her to a randomly selected location in Skyrim. The majority of restraint sets come in different color variations (decided randomly on equip) and you have an opportunity to begin your devious adventure in any of the nine holds of Skyrim! Arrive By Ship(Selachii Variant) - "One of many chosen to sail the seas of Nirn to a province of Tamriel's Empire facing a Civil War, I gladly agreed to the journey. Location: Solitude Docks(possibly a newly added dock on the other side of the EEC Warehouse). Equipment: Blades Armor(Inc. Shield), Blades Katana, 1000 Gold Details: May tie into the content surrounding Akario - choosing this start would mean that you came to Solitude with him. This would of course, change how he reacts to you, since ideally he has known you for quite some time. This would even change some of Mizuno's content – I.e you would be able to tell him not just that you met Akario in Solitude, but you sailed from Same-Shuto to Skyrim on the same ship. Quest Details: Bandit(Selachii Variant) - "Sure, taking this wreck seemed like a good idea. Only there was little to take, and what little there was, is being hoarded in the cabin. I do not know why I choose to join this group. They have no ambition - though I am perfectly aware that fixing the wreck is next to impossible. Perhaps it is time that I make my own way." Locations: Wreck of the Winter War, Orphan's Tear, Wreck of the Pride of Tel Vos Equipment: Same as LAL Bandit start. Details: Similar to the Bandit LAL start, only this one focuses on the few wrecked ships, whose occupants are mostly bandits. Pirate - "I can count myself, lucky. If only because I have a history that is, varied. From a Sailor among my race, to one of them who lost faith in the profession, and took to the opposite - a pirate. Serving on several ships under several captains, the most recent one considered the worst. For the most treasures we plunder, are from merchant ships, like those of the East Empire Trading Company. They can call me a deserter, but I have been thinking about leaving for a while. Maybe it is time to do so." Location: Dainty Sload Equipment: Ragged Trousers, Scimitar, 200 Gold Details: Similar to some other LAL starts, the player would be in a faction that means the Corsairs aboard the ship won't outright attack them. If the player uses this start, and later joins the Thieves guild, if one of the optional quests is done concerning the Dainty Sload, a mod added encounter with the Ship's captain will have them recognize the player. Extensible Alternate Start View File Extensible Alternate Start - Public Beta for Skyrim LE Alternate Start? Yes, another contender in alternate start mods has arrived. Start out naked and customize your character in the Dream of Signs. Pick up some starting equipment, standing stone and shrine blessings there, then follow your quest marker to the Dream of Doors to pick a starting location. Extensible? Yes, using SKSE mod event hooks, you can hook in your mod's rooms between the Dream of Signs and the Dream of Doors. See "XAS for Modders" in the archive or the forum post for details. Load order? Load at bottom of load order. Override any other mod's edits to MQ101. Main quest? Visit Dragonsreach and talk to Jarl Balgruuf to start it. Civil war? Should work normally. The Dream of Doors includes two special doors that will skip you to just before taking the Imperial or Stormcloak oaths. Lore notes? This mods assumes the vanilla intro happens up until Alduin hits you with unrelenting force. Where, when and why you wake up from that is up to you. Pre-requisites? transfersettlement Sanctuary covenant walls View File This mod is a transfer settlements blue print to use at the start of a new playthrough, or anytime you have not done much building in Sanctuary. It includes Convenant walls Beds water food turrets a couple stores a couple special workbenches I install this just after sturges asks for help building beds. It is best if you clear all the furniture items from all the bedrooms, and clear all trees and junk on the ground around the bridge and in the water. Also, remove all the unusable houses and their foundations. The walls are not perfect, but look good from the inside, couple spots from the outside view that I could not fix. everything else is just there to get Sanctuary going you will want to move the stores and other stuff eventually. Transfersettlements recommends that you go away after adding blue print, I just go do the first Minuteman settlement quest, and come back. View File Skyrim Bound is intended as an alternative start mod without the alternative start part. The mod makes it possible to start your game with a set of Devious Devices, and allows you to choose the worn items freely through the in-game menu. So, start the game with your favourite alternative start mod (or vanilla if that's your thing), and afterwards fire up Skyrim Bound to push the difficulty up a notch. Since the mod is activated through the menu, you can of course use it later in the game as well. The menu will however disable itself after one use. Notes Devious expansion is fully supported (including the new ebonite items), but it isn't required. As such, the items available to equip will change depending if it is installed or not. Starting the game with "Surprise me" will ignore all other settings in the menu, making it a completely random experience. Daedric plugs included here are also craftable once the Devious Devices book from Integration is read.
