This is the 14th comic strip and it was supposed to come out on February 14th - Valentine's Day in the US (and a few other countries, I believe). However, it is a little late, so let's all pretend it came out on time. ? And if our heroes celebrated Valentine's Day, I imagine it might've looked something like this:

Haha, I love it! A tale of star crossed lovers in the making.

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite blogs on here, keep it up!

If I could offer one bit of criticism it would be that the dialogue bubbles are sometimes still a touch hard to follow on panels where they are really spread out and the bubble that's intended to be read first is on the far right even if it is higher (an example would be the panel about cleaning where Kiki is riding the broom). For me at least when the bubbles are far apart like that my brain naturally defaults to reading left first before it realizes that right was higher, maybe that's just me.

Personally if I have a panel with lots of dialogue and the right hand character speaking first I'll try to stack the bubbles like this (y'all ain't even ready for this level of artistry, prepare yourselves!):

But again, this might be just a me problem, who knows.

So much love in this Episode ??

Cyrus's reports remind me somehow on my own way to report bugs in mods. ??

Thank you for your kind words. I'm glad my comics can make people laugh ?  I see what you're saying about the chat. I think it might be a problem with my positioning of the characters.  They do not always go along with the flow of the actual dialogue bubbles. I will have to work on that more. ?

Thank you for your comment. I'm always happy to know that people enjoy my story. ☺️ And yes, Valentine's Day is a tiny bit problematic for our characters at this point (but still hilarious). ?

Cyrus's mod report would probably look like this : "Found that the dress meshes glitch through the chair when the character sits down, which can lead to the game crashing, computer overheating and blowing up, the house crumbling down and the third coming of Alduin." ?

Thank you! I figured a few days after the Valentine's Day still counts as a holiday ?

I'm glad you liked them. ? Vulcun is strong, smart, handsome and very patient. He can also cook, clean and is great with children. Personally I understand why Cyrus is infatuated with him. ☺️

Vulcun: As much as I appreciate the compliment, I would appreciate it even more if I could be left alone with my books and NOT be dragged around the whole Skyrim.

Thank you for your comments ☺️ I find that mentions of vanilla quests make the story more familiar to the reader while at the same time provide a different perspective on the events in the world (let's face it, not everything revolves around the Dragonborn).

Vulcun: Lady Synetica, I'm glad I am not the only one who caught onto that particular "gem" from Sanguine. Honestly, he will find any excuse just to sate his carnal desires. Joining him should be easy enough, though. Simply head to the nearest tavern and start seducing people - he'll show up soon thereafter.

And it works well! ^_^

Thank you ☺️ And this IS Lovers Lab, after all, so love is always in the air (it may be kinky, weird or hilarious, but it is still love ?)

You can create longer tails for those kind of situations. The idea is to have the first bubble where the eye will go first, so if the characters' positioning goes against that, a longer tail can help fixing it.

Anyway, laughed on your Aunt Nimhe Valentine's day. ^^

Thank you, Tirloque. You were one of the first people to offer critique and technical advice for Kiki's series and it helped a tremendous amount. After this 14th episode, the following ones flow more smoothly in the conversation sense (at least I hope they do).  Of course I constantly try to improve the way I position characters, how they talk, what they are doing etc etc so it's still very much a work in progress. I really appreciate everyone sticking with Kiki's story through all of the trials and errors. ☺️

Vulcun: Dearest Lady Malicia, I thank you for your concern, however I am far too old to have a girlfriend and as you have undoubtedly noticed I currently have my hands full trying to keep Kiki out of too much trouble. But perhaps one day this may change. Who knows ?.
