Hey folks, hope ya'll had a great holiday!!

I've been pressed for time lately but things are starting to get back to normal, so here's a short entry.

It picks up right where we left off with "In Pursuit of Knowledge"

Hope you enjoy it ? As always, I've included a DL to my Image host in case they don't load properly.

Amazing underwater part I must say, staged with a lot of suspense, and very suited for photoshop blood effects. Though short, story wise it feels hooking, and in that way (and her bad luck) Acacia has a bit of Brynn I think. The feel of danger combined to the double vulnerability of being naked + underwater made it particularly intense. "Undersea" effects were perfect, nice idea for the slaughterfish reflection in her eyes, and awesome vampire shot at the end. Aesthetically the whole thing is really beautiful.

Also convincing wound effect on the leg (though the wounds' orientation isn't exactly the same on the two shore shots axrWsMKf_o.gif). The bite in itself looks well sinked in the skin ; although sadly every time I see a tutorial about it they use current photoshop versions with special brushes/layer styles that I can't use on my merethic era version...  I'd still be curious about how you made that though.

Awaiting for the next episode ! :D

Malicia : « That Torrey guy liked Acacia's striptease a lot, so he gave her a lot of money, yes. And he won't wait "eternally" before coming back either, uh. :classic_sleepy: »

Wow your really good at the positioning of characters and editing Afro Skeleton Bob. When you mentioned friendliness of that mill I knew there was a vampire couple living there and they would at least be friendly at first until they suck the life from their victims dry.;)

Thanks, I redid her for the story ?

Never understood Bethesda's ugly ass people in their games.

It's called fantasy for a reason ?

Thanks Tir, As someone who can't swim in real life, this is like my nightmare scenario!

I'm glad the reflection in her eyes came through, The fish was so close to the color of her eyes that I feared it may not be noticeable ?

As far as wound orientation, that's funny, cause I'm always so anal about that kinda stuff, But I literally said to myself this time, "no one's gonna notice that shit."

Way to keep me on my toes ?

As far as the wound, No special technique here, I literally drew it with the default brush, and used a hazy brush to add the bruising and smearing.

Thanks for the kind words and detailed critique ?

Thanks,

Yeah I know it was a little lazy to rely on established lore for this one, but I always loved the idea of how vampires could run a business right under the nose of the locals ?

I also feel that Hert and Hern could be so much more in the game than they are, so hopefully I can make it my own in that respect ?

Yay! We're picking up with this story.  Hopefully Acacia remembers at least part of her black hole spell or else the creepy vampire people at half moon just got a free meal!

Rhoo. If that's 'cause you didn't learned, go take some lessons ! Don't wait anxiously for the crash test to show up, that would be my advice. :classic_angel:

Your comic is top quality for a 3D fanfiction. So aim for the best, you should. Who knows, maybe one day a publisher will notice it an poof, Mr Wanobi billionaire in California. ?

Truth be told though, I noticed 'cause I'm a photoshopper as well, and so I'm always interested in the "making of" effects. I looked at it as closely as Malicia would look at a her hair during her morning routine. axrWsMKf_o.gif
