Superb set up! The ritual was so well done. And the toppled statue at the end really delivered the abruptness of its end. I feel like up to this point was an elaborate set up to establish the foundation of where this story will go, and I love the direction you've taken! Great job!

I did think Gwen's protectiveness of/ devotion to Nessa seemed a bit fast considering they barely just met but perhaps that's hinting at things to come?

I was going to use that iron Spell Knight armor for something soon

I liked this but I do have a slight problem or two I guess. The first one is gwenie's protectiveness/devotion was too fast when it comes to Nessa and thought it came out of nowhere. Also thought it would have taken several chapters to show the development of it. The other question is what about that falmer we see watching gwenie walk away in oblation. Will that be involved with the two now or is it just a bystander who is watching.

Other than that I like it. Also will we be seeing the other nuns again? will they be saved? will gwenie keep her promise of killing the succubus as I think she is.

Yes, almost everything in this arch was planned to lead to this point, although the idea for the statue was born at the very last moment. But I liked how it end up. ^_^

Yea, that's a pretty cool armor! I just wanted to draw a line between the REAL crusaders and a rookies with different uniform. I hope that helped ^_^

Technically, Gwen is always protective of those in need, besides feeling guilty about the deaths of other girls, that forcing her to act. So this is her normal behavior. And the thing is that Nessa confuses this with personal affection toward her.

My you really improved your story making skills. Effects are wonderful. Compliments. I also can understand why mother Scarlet was so horny. Every normal human being is in the need of orgasm. Sometimes that need is very strong and it drives you crazy.  It doesn't have to be caused by magic or supernatural beings like in your story. Those who think it is only sexual thing are very wrong. Anyhow, thank you for the story.

Good entry. I particularly noticed the care about the church's atmosphere, with lighting, smoke, statues, poses, everything concurring to the lascivious ritual at hand ; and then only better highlighted by the return to normal (the statue symbol was a nice touch as well). Vibrant screens, and fluid gifs. Definitely a step higher than the pre-reboot stories. Now, this point is where your scenario leaded, but from there it's a blank page. It's up to you to drive if just as well as the rest of the reboot. ?

As for Gwen's attitude towards her, a chivalrous behavior might justify it... But the "not empty space" kinda suggest that's not all. And that is indeed a bit fast to me, like to others. But things can go fast in that regard, so time will tell how it's managed.

Plot armor ! I do remember Crw mentioning the other sisters were expendable, implying Nessa isn't. Sanguine's call might be another.
