Ok when I get arrested the guards take me to this room. It only has an evidence chest and a trapdoor leading to Windhelm jail and when I go through it says Ive escaped. No matter where I commit the crime I get taken to that room in Windhelm. This mod worked fine on another save file.

Have you tried Force Restart from the Debug menu option it seems to fix most problems. Make sure you use before getting caught by a guard

Every time a guard comes to my cell the game crashes and I get the visual c++ runtime error.

 

 

 

I had this one, too. Turns out my Visual c++ installation was incomplete.

Skyrim vanilla uses Visal c++ 2010. When I encountered this crash and checked my visual c++ installations it turned out I had all versions up to 2010, but only the 32bit version of 2012 not the 64bit version of 2012. So if PO uses 2012 it would have wanted to use one I was missing. Installed visual c++ 2012 64bit as well and never had this happening since. Could be a coincidence of course, with Skyrim simply having had a random CTD, that has not since been repeated, but might have been indeed that, so check yours.

This may have already been mentioned in this thread so sorry if I'm being repetitious.  I've been waiting for a mod that has good characters set to jail or get a bounty put on them.  Working Girl has a bit of that with guards propositioning.  Recently I've been trying a mod called sexcrimes, it's pretty basic, essentially if you are caught outdoors nude or committing sex acts a modifiable bounty will be put on your PC.  This is a great way to kick start an arrest for good characters.

 

Just thought I would share, Prison Overhaul is still one of my favorite mods and this is a nice enhancement.

First of all: Great idea. This one seems a perfect for trying the thieves guild quests witgh an ironman houserule. However I can't get it to work right. It works almost perfect. Aligement issues for example a much rarer an issue than in other SexLab plugins. There's just one thing that makes it not work for me:

 

The pillory glitches out every single time for me thus far. What happens is that after the punishment phase finishes my PC is out of the stocks and can walk around again, while at the same time everyone silent dialogue still treets her as a prisoner and she still attrackts a clapping crowd, but nothing happens and the time compression doesn't kick in either so the mod doesn't seem to be in the waiting phase. Also the stocks she was in are gone, while the ones next to hers are still there if that info helps.

 

This seems to happen if a rape scene gets triggered by Deviously helpless instead of Prison overhaul, unchecking the ZAZ items as triggers from the Devisously Helpless mcm solved this for me. (they are unchecked by default anyway, guess for a reason lol)

 

Oh also guard movements will reset and sometimes completly bug out if you get a Sexlab Approach dialogue at the wrong time but haven't been approached during pillory or prison time.

 

SD+ has a submit that might interrupt aswell but i personally have never had any problem with it while in pillory or prison and guardmovement seems to proceed after the stagger normally so my guess SD+ is compatible just fine.

 

If you use PSQ make sure you have the Fear effect on transform off if you auto transform from arrousal - that can have some baaad results if you transform during pillory if the wrong people are in the crowd/nearby XD

Hi, im not sure how this works since im new to modding and everything but the animations in the pillory flat out dosent work, and im not sure what is wrong, i have all the required mods and everything obviously and sexlabs other animations works fine, but i cant get the pillory animations to work, please help D:

Are you using some custom race?

 

 

 

 

 

I saw in the Zaz animation thread that PO will need to be updated to work fully, is it going to be unplayable with Zaz 6 until update or is it just a minor visual issue?

Hmm, nah is not a costume race. I used a costum body yes, maybe I shouldn't have done that? I may have used zaz 6 so that could be the problem.

Is also weird because it works fine in pillories or when i get whipped.

Is only the the last animations that doesn't work. Well, works for the guard, but not for my player character.

Right now I'm looking at two purple pillories in Riften, obviously, there's a texture issue with them in the latest PO with ZAP 6.0.

Pillory has a missing keyword which is indicated on last line above.

 

Something with a formID of xx00F87C is missing in the newest ZAP which is used in "Escort to Prison" quest.

I tried this with v1.59 of SexLab in Riften and in Whiterun. In Riften it worked fine but in Whiterun I get placed in a cellar with a hatch to the barracks and with no bed. The prison events triggers normally but when they are about to take me to the stocks it seems like the script is stopping, because the jailor just stands there and I can't move. I tried using fast forward but that doesn't help.

Under the latest sexlab version the game crashes on save with this active. Any news on an update? 

 

Might be someting else going on as well, because this does not happen to me.

Altough the Crime Scanner seems to be very active in my Papyrus log. Maybe a bit over active?

 

Xaz would probably get the best idea about XPO's role in your CTDs, if you would copy your Papyrus Log (0) from time immediatly after crash and included it here, under spoiler tab. The white bubble with "!" in it is easiest way to use spoiler tags.

Had the same problem with zaz animation pack 6.0...

 

reverted to the previous one V0555 , and the problem went away...

I tested at Riften & Whiterun, both locations when your taken to the pillory for punishment the pillory is invisible, and you just stand there for the entire time.

 

The Riften test was for a petty crime, so no punishments. I would have expected to at least still be locked in the pillory regardless of textures. However, when i was being marched to the prison, the 2 purple pillories were there. In Riften there are 2 pillories, the second one was still visible, just not the one I was assigned to.

 

The Whiterun test was for a major crime, again the pillory i was assigned to was invisible. The only punishment received was whipping, with my character just standing there and the other actor doing his thing with the whip. The second (purple) pillory was still there though.

 

I am assuming Markarth is excluded by this mod? I had already completed the silver mine forsworn quest so the next time I was arrested they just locked me in the mine with no way for me to continue. I waited for 48 hours, then loaded an earlier save.

 

ps. I'm using the latest versions of Sexlab & v6.0 of Zaz Animations.

That's funny coz I'm using v0555.

 

Does your gag sound working , while abuse is taking place in the  jail cell ?

 

It worked for me, with Zaz ver 6.0 , but , not working with 0555...

 

But , that's the only thing wrong, with it, though ! :-/

 

 

I don't know because I haven't tested it with gag sound but she keeps the gag on during oral, which is strange.

I have the exact same problem, the purple pillories are just missing or not assigned textures by zaz animation pack so I am guessing that is no big deal. But the second part where the only punishment working is whipping and when punished the pillory is invisible is prison overhaul related.

Aside from the missing textures, you might have other issues with pillories with ZAP 6.0, because the form ID of pillory keyword has been changed in ZAP 6.0 and this keyword is used in PO in two different places, in FURNITURES and QUESTS.

 

If you have TES5Edit you might want to fix that yourself. All you have to do is to find the missing ID of the previous keyword and change it with the new keyword ID.

  • Open up xazPrisonOverhaul.esp in TES5Edit
  • Go to Furniture -> xpoFurniturePillory -> Keywords
  • You should be able to see the error in the 3rd keyword.
  • Right click on that keyword and paste this: zbfFurniturePillory02 [KYWD:03026D2B]
  • Then go to Quest -> xpoMain (Escort to Prison) and on the RHS find Quest VMAD -> Scripts -> scriptName -> xazpEscortToPrison and then go down and find IsPilloryKeyword property of  the script and again change the keyword as above.

I've looked at the pillories and so on, and I'll update Prison Overhaul to a new version with the fixes included. Also some other random fixes will make it. (Not a major update, just to make it usable.)
