Had the same problem. Here's a likely fix:

 - Open BodySlide

 - Click Settings

 - Make sure the "Game Data Path" is pointing to [wherever your game is installed]/Data

 - Build everything again

What item mod do you see where this works?

@Pfiffy Have you seen any issues with DD heels not clearing height in animations even with the clear hh checked in sexlab?

Thanks a lot for offering to do all that but I don't think all that's necessary. Now that I'm thinking about it a little more I noticed that whenever I wear normal HighHeels and a SexLab animation starts, the HighHeels unequip. With DD that does not happen. That is most likely the issue. 

 

Later I can try to set the HighHeels which DD equips on me to "always unequip" in SexLab and try if that works, or other way around and set the other HighHeels to "never unequip" and see if the height does not get cleared.

 

I will edit this later when I have tried.

EDIT: So I have tried to disable the DD HighHeels in Skyrim but to my surprize, they aren't in the list. Looks like SexLab is unable to detect the "toys" added by DD which makes it impossible to handle them.

 

Maybe that is wanted by the DD authors to stop people from ruining their immersion. I don't know. Bit unfortunate that it doesn't work the way it should right out of the box.

Hello.
Here, I wanted to download and install it but the concern is when I activate it, it causes me a ctd just after the Bethesda logo while I have the prerequisites.

Unfortunately the Hobble dress walking animation doesn't seem to work either. I have run FNIS and LOOT afterwards, aswell as disabled any other walking animations I had installed but still it just wouldn't work. Anybody know what might be the issue? I remember selection a set of walking animations during installation and overwrote any files it asked me to.

Ok, searched everywhere and this is driving me nuts!

 

So Devious Devices SSE was working perfectly up until a few saves ago. When checking papyrus this is the error that shows up:

This is NOT a FNIS or Bodyslide issue, as the mod was working perfectly beforehand. I literally hadn't touched anything prior to this error showing up, does anybody know what the hell is going on? I went to previous saves and the mod was working fine, what could be causing the issue?

 

The mod animations still work perfectly fine for npcs and followers but only fail for my character!

 

EDIT: Checked some more and other animations have the following error:

Is there any possible reason this would happen mid playthrough? Haven't added, removed or modified any mods.

Sorry, I don't want to look like someone who takes advantage of it, but how can I solve the other problem?

 

It's bad to have the character walking with his hands tied behind his back. ?

Usually a stuck animation will clear when you force another to play - like sitting down or working at the forge. If that doesn't clear it, then the only fix I know is a save before you got stuck.

 

I saw something similar a few weeks ago. The animation ended, but the pillory kept walking around with her.... Sometimes things get stuck. nothing to do but go back to a previous save.

If you haven't already, install SSE Engine Fixes. CTD when you load the game after installing DD is usually too many animations. If you have SSE Engine Fixes already, your PC likely can't handle the number you have. Remove a slal pack or two.

What outfit are you wearing?
Instead of batch building, select the outfit for outfit / body in bodyslide and click build. Check the path, is it right?

What option did you choose for hobble? I've been doing default and haven't seen an issue.

Looks like one cause can be a stuck animation. So yeah, it can happen at any point in your game. 

Easiest fix is likely to go to back to a save where this doesn't happen. You can probably search through the LE thread to find more info. This response was the first informative one I found.

Alright, thats what I ended up doing, really sucks if it can happen randomly like that :(

 

Edit: Ok the same bug happened at the same exact spot; I'm running MME SE and for whatever reason, going to Riften or the milk pumps in Riften causes the animation to permanently bug out the PC only, NPCs are fine. Anyone have any ideas? :$

I managed to get it to work.
Now I would like to know how to no longer have the bondage positions on the character (tied hands, squatting, four legs, etc.).

Is it only Rifton, or do you have the same problems with other Milk pumps, too?

If you're using smp, you don't need the hotfix unless you want to remove smp from the chains. If you do, then try installing the hotfix after running bodyslide, running bodyslide will overwrite the hotfix iirc.

 

Try sorting your load order with loot. several things look out of place, but it's longer than I want to manually sort for you.

Also, I don't know if it has anything to do with it, the creatures animations (Fom other mods, such as more nasty critters) don't work as well. Just nothing happens. I do have the FNIS creatures patch installed.

Make sure mnc., xpmse and 3bbb are at the end of your install/load order.

At this point, xpmse should have the same skeleton as mnc, so it can overwrite mnc, or mnc can overwrite xpmse. But nothing else can overwrite the skeleton (exceptions are abc and asos).

 

Worked!

Problem was either The Joy of Perspective or 1st Person Parry Animation (Not sure yet, disabled both of them).

As a general rule to prevent troubles with MNC: Let MNC overwrite XPMS. I shouldn't matter for now, but it is the save solution for the future.

As far as I was able to tell, just that area in Riften specifically. So far I've only tried modded pumps and the ones in whiterun but i can run through the rest tomorrow and see if the issues arise there too. I'm not entirely sure if its the pumps specifically but both times I went to the area the player character animations bugged out. :(

Could there be a bug in the inflatable plug causing it to never deflate? How long does it normally take to deflate so it can be removed? I've slept for 72 hours and still it says it's "a little inflated" and I can't remove it. If I walk around, someone will eventually give it a squeeze and cause it to inflate again. Is there a way to force the timer to zero in the console?

Had this problem too, good thing i saved before equipping it.

For walking animations I use 360 walk and run plus.

 

Nothing else that should include or change any walking animations, just the regular animations packs that are installed with SLAL. (Nibbles, Billy, anub,...)

 

I don't recall exactly which option I picked, but it was not the default one. I might try reinstalling with the default animation then.

Alright so it's not even near the milk pumps, just something in Riften triggers the animation to stop working for the PC unless its something else entirely. At this point I have no idea what it could be...

 

EDIT: Or maybe it is, idk? It's always around the pier leading into the ratway...

 

EDIT2: Ok found the papyrus error that should explain why this is happening if anyone knows how to fix:
