It uses sexlab, but it goes through DD's own filters and calls the animation directly i think.

Also, just as an FYI, if you're dead set on playing a dude, you are going to run into problems with DCL's specific devices. That mod is female only, and no male patch.

The Rubber Hood is from DCL. There is no male model for it. You'd need to patch it in xedit for it to work for a male.

The AAs for the rubber hood are (depending on your variant): dcur_hoodOpenEyesAA and dcur_hoodAA.

 

When I mean furniture, I mean like a random drawer with DCL stuff in it disappeared in my new save! Sorry for the confusion!

Alright, I would like to know how to use xedit! what's a AA, where do I find dcur_hoodAA, and what do I do with it?

AA is Armor Addon. Open it in green area paste it and press enter to search - it can take long time.

that's storage, not furniture. furniture in these mods means something else entirely.

not all storage in skyrim is safe. anything that isn't a safe storage will reset after a period of time, and you'll lose the items you stuck in it. generally, only the storage in a player home is safe.

once you find it like elsidia mentioned, you'd copy the path to the female mesh, and add it to the male field above it. you'll probably need to right click and add before you can paste in the path.

You'll want to go through that entire link if you're new to xedit. patching would be the conflict resolution - section 5.8. for this, you don't need to check for conflicts because you want to add a new field to an existing record.

 

or look up tutorials on youtube. anything skyrim or fo4 will apply.

Clit are soulgem only i think. There's no gold or metal ones in DD. Other mods might have them, but i've not heard of it.

After recompiling "zadDevicesUnderneathScript", it seems that the papyrus error problem is solved (much cleaner papyrus log).

I share my recompiled "zadDevicesUnderneathScript" and its source for those who are also annoyed by this issue :)

It would be useful for those who uses The New Gentleman instead of SOS.

That's likely from soft dependencies. probably not worth fixing, and unlikely to be adopted into this SE conversion since TNG isn't available for LE and not having it doesn't break anything.

You might be better off putting that on DD NG's thread or discord so it can be integrated with all the other SE specific fixes.

 

Edit: Reminder - this DD SE / AE / VR is a *conversion* of an LE mod, not a standalone made for SE mod. Anything included in here is to fix something broken in the mod with SE, or is available for both SE and LE.

I'll eventually update the installer and include the updated DLL. But since I don't control the download page, it's not a priority. 

 

There is an older version of the NG DLL (works for all versions) on the troubleshooting post that works for 1.6.1130 and 1.6.1170. Alternately, you can install DD NG on top of DD, which has other fixes specific to SE/AE like converting the animations to OAR as well as the latest NG DLL.

there is not one that i know of, and it's doubtful it will be made unless a UBE user does it. It's just not a popular body, and converting all the outfits is a major time sink.

Any device that attaches to the torso or hands seems to make that body part disappear for me. I did a batch build using BodySlide and I think I did it correctly. There isn't anything overwriting DD other than a couple of textures from Devious Loot.

Edit: Seems like some gloves are fine. I just triggered a trap and got hand chains and a corset, neither were visible, but the naked body part was visible underneath. Also, do the hand chains do anything? I was still able to attack with my weapons.

Corset is not a 'body' item, so you did something wrong with bodyslide. Most likely are your settings. Check the path in bodyslide settings, it should go to your data folder, not to the skyrim folder above data.

 

If you're still not sure, build just one of the items that are invisible for you, and click build instead of batch build and screenshot the output pop up.

There's a mini tutorial on the troubleshooting post that shows how to check your path.

 

If you're in first person, it's normal. nothing much can be done about first person. if you're in 3rd, i don't think you should be able to, but combat is really hard to restrict and might glitch from time to time. it also depends on the hand restraints.

So it looks like I got it working. So I'm using the Aurora modlist though Wabbajack and MO2 and set BodySlide's game data path as "C:\Skyrim-Aurora\overwrite\Root\Data\". It was set to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\". I don't know if it would be better to set that as the output path instead of data path, but for now it seems like all the items are visible and I'm enjoying the mod so far. I have noticed the bound girls, or whatever they are called, aren't animating correctly when wearing arm binders and the like. But I can live with that.

HDT SMP Chain update for everyone:

Predator Rj has recently taken a whack at some of the chains, and their implementations looks to be superior for now, but it's still being tested. The NG team is working with the FSMP team to figure out why the chains are misaligned on equip in Predator's implementation. Currently, the misalignment seems to be fixed by going into racemenu then leaving racemenu in a forced tpose, so they might programmatically force that on equip if a root cause can't be found.

 

So for now, DD NG is where all the action is, and will have all the latest improvements to the chains. These can be found in the DD NG discord, linked on the DD NG page.

Eventually, I will bundle up various fixes that don't require DD NG specifically, but I'm not in a rush to do so and have no timeline for this. Patches, etc will remain on the troubleshooting post,

That would be the problem if that list follows common wabbajack implementations and uses the stock game feature. It wouldn't look at your steam install at all.

If it uses root game, then I don't know and you'd need to ask for help on your list discord or whereever they have support. Ideally, you should be asking there first - they know what they've done to the list and we can't help you with it because we don't know.

If the list uses Nemesis, that is likely the problem. DD does not work well with Nemesis out of the box, nor is Nemesis supported. You can probably solve that by installing DD NG over the top of DD, which switches DD's animations ovevr to OAR and bypasses the problems with Nemesis.

Yes, you pick *any* DLL - none of the choices  in the installer will work out of the box with 1.6.1130 or 1.6.1170. 1.6.640 is as good as any other choice.

 

Then to fix the DLL issue with 1.6.1130  / 1.6.1170, you will do ONE of these options (ALL of which existed prior to 1.6.1130, so none are 'new'. Thus "no new files"):

1. Install Devious Devices NG. It will overwrite DD, including DD's DLL. It's DLL works with all versions of the game.

2. Go to the troubleshooting post. Pick one of the alternate DLLs under the DD 5.2 spoiler. You will install that as a separate mod overwriting DD, or simply swap out the DLLs.

3. Go to the troubleshooting post. Install the script fix for the script errors under the DD 5.2 spoiler. This removes the need for the DLL entirely. Delete or hide it from DD's files.

 

Edit: If you're still crashing, then switch your ConsoleUtils to the NG version. The original mod is causing CTDs when used with various mods, including DD.

Hey there, been trying to get this to work but anytime I install DD and DD NG it loads to the main menu fine but then crashes before it loads up my save game.

Make sure consoleutils is the latest NG version, and not the original SE/AE version. the original version is incompatible with 1130 and 1170.
 

If it was a DD DLL issue, SKSE would prevent you from launching the game. Since the game launches, it's more likely to be consoleutils, or you have some other issue that we'd need a crash log for. And since you have NG installed, you should be on the NG thread, not here.

Sexlab scenes dont seem to be starting, the only mods I have running are simple slavery, cursed loot, and their requirements. I have been tested every download for Sexlab but they all give me the same warning which I attached. There is no warning or error, the scene just doesnt start, and the characters dialog makes it seem like it did. Is there any reason why the scenes aren't starting?
