Depends on what mod the catsuit is from. It shouldn't be happening with the DD or DCL catsuits, but there are other mods that add them too.

What's the name of the catsuit?

 

If it is from DD/DCL, make sure you batch built everything in bodyslide.

i have both of those mods. it seems to only be a problem for the dd plugs. the face goes back to normal for sl animations and other face changing mods i might have. its not too big of a deal i guess  i can just do reset mfg in console command until i figure it out. thanks for helping though

its in the devious devices expansion.esm, the exact name of the item is blue ebonite catsuit (but it happens with all the colors anyway) 
but i havent batch built anything like you said, i dont really know how to do that

Short tutorial for that. if you want batch build only for DD then choose a group DD Framework CBBE SE, if you use DD 5.0

If you use DD 4.3 there is many groups because easier is build all. Note. it will build any other mods armors too if those have bodyslides files. Also in that type of build you need select naked body shape too what you use.

Slave harness is part of Damsel in Distress quest and it can be unlocked before unlock other parts of that quest outfit.  If you mean other harness then please provide item id for check me out.

oh I didn't mean it like that, sorry! It just seemed deliberate that selecting the NPC equipped them with these chains and I thought it was done because of aesthetics or something (like having chains while on furniture was intended)

Thanks for the update to 5.1 for SE. I was playing with 5.0 and since I installed it it has made my game pretty unstable with CTD about once an hour, at least. With 5.1 that has stopped and things seem to be running much smoother.

Hello, I've been having fun with DD 5.0 on SE for the past few days. The contraptions are mostly great and I have some feedback to share:

1. Not all but some contraptions are stretching out upper part of the hands (from the shoulder to elbow) too much and it looks kind of creepy. This happens with all the Torture Pole variants and with Gallows Pole (Overhead). Attaching screenshots under the spoilers to illustrate.

And to be precise, stretching out also happens when using Torture Poles from ZAZ Helper Addon. Again, some devices look ok, while some stretch out the hands weirdly. I use the 

XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended, but It's an old version from the 20th March of 2020. Could updating to the last version help with this issue or is it unrelated to the skeleton?

 

2. Any chance we can get shackles from the Strappado contraption as wearable devices? I like their simple look, and how they rigidly restrain the character without blocking the view on the body. Perhaps, leg shackles could trigger the hobble dress walking animation without the need to wear one? And wrist ones would be great alternative to armbinders with how the hands are differently positioned behind the back and also fully visible.

3. Are elbow shackle sets supposed to be completely inescapable? With yokes and armbinders there's options to struggle and etc., but with the elbow shackles on, character can only Carry On.

I've sent the full conversion to Kimy, so I'm just waiting on her to update the download with the conversion now.

Since she put a delta upgrade up on the LE side in a post, I cleaned that up the delta patch for SE (it didn't really need conversion, just some xmls removed) and put it on the troubleshooting post where I can keep track of it.

1. There's not a lot that can be done for stretching. The way the bodys are made, it's impossible to get in some positions without weirdness. The update to the skeleton doesn't change the position of the bones, which is what we're working with here. upgrading will not fix this issue for you, although it will fix other unrelated things.

 

2. Try requesting in the development thread. New items can and may be added, as long as the permissions from the author are given or are open. The wrist ones are in there already, i'd have to check what the name is. i think wrist shackles.

 

3. I think so. They aren't escapable even with the locks manipulated. I did bring it up recently, but since they don't seem to be fixed it sounds like this is expected.

This is the thread for a specific mod. If you need help with modding in general, post in the help section.

 

The first post in the support thread for a mod will have 'view file'. Click this to get to the download page.

Read the download pages for the requirements. Requirements can be other mods on LL or mods on the Nexus.

Look at the name of the mod and in the details section. The details section (under the download button) will say if it's SE or LE (regular edition) compatible or not. Usually, people will put SE in the name for SE compatible mods.

Most LE mods can be made compatible with SE through a conversion process. Read through the SE compatibility tracking for info on this and a list of mods that have been or can be converted.

I just look more carefully on those devices and there is newly item bug. This item is marked as heavybondage and have on collar keyword. To manipulate with those devices there is used Yoke  message from DDA. But as this item is new, then there is logical error: to take off you need have on yoke keyword. There is two ways to fix it: made new custom message for those devices or add a yoke keyword to those item.

Also depend on variables what is into this device i think it's error not specially done: there is variable to remove this item with 2 restraints key and escape chance is not set to zero too.

 

You can made temporally fix by add new message for that device or add yoke keyword to rendered device.

i have a problem, that the animations from the Devious Devices Mods won't work. Neither the armbinder, the yoke, or any other item that should change the idle/running/sprinting animations affects the animations. The armbinder just makes the hands invisible, but nothing else happens.

Slight question when i put a follower into an armbinder or such other thing they still  pull out a weapon and slip out of it instead of kicking is there a way to solve this?
