Dafuq? No matter the pitch I didn't hear "laurel"...not once. It was all "yanny" to me.

Both are being said in the audio clip but at different frequencies, Laurel at low end, Yanny at high end. Apparently older people are better at picking up low end frequencies and young people at high end frequencies

 

Probably explains why young people always want songs on YT bass boosted, they not so good at picking up low frequencies
