I was just going to do a scene with Maryam (sim in my last post above), but actually ended up doing something a bit different that I don't often do, inspired partly by @IGI 2000's ongoing Porn-Noir stories. So I ended up making a set up where my sim Tyler Stevenson (who's not really seen here, because it's sort of POV) is an independent porn producer making that scene I wanted to do except I'm doing a story with dialogue around the behind the scenes stuff of that, something different for me to do and also allows me to kind of fill out some of my characters a bit more. Still going to do the actual "scene" and a photoshoot like I normally do I think as just pictures with no dialogue or captions, but making more of a story (in a sense, I'm going pretty "mundane" with this) around the BTS elements of the whole thing. 

 

Just completed doing the first bit of BTS stuff, this bit is sort of dialogue-heavy and mundane though, not much action or excitement :sweat_smile:

Kinky World is Oniki Kay's Kinky World. Adds "Kinky interactions" i.e. anything beyond hugging and kissing. As Mariana said, Mike24, Amra72 and others contributed addtional animations.

 

For best results you'll need NRAAS as well (sort of a MCCommandCenter for Sims 3) https://www.nraas.net/community/home

Oh! I recently found out how to unlock every item/career object with cheats and got super excited when I realized I had some animations for the jail cell bars

Great one, I like the facial expressions and the story flow! I don't know how it works for you, but for me bubbles bring extra layers to simple pics, they allow to present actors in more detail, even though it's a lot of work.

 

Happy to see more of this story.  I slipped a bit with my Episode 8, still in progres, so it's nice to see another comic here :)

Thank you! I think I've got 1 or 2 parts still in this one. Story will only be the behind the scenes portion though, while the actual scene she's there to do I'm going to do in my "usual" way, with just pictures, I think making that distinction made for some interesting differentiation. 

 

As regards facial expressions, you can really get alot of utility from using pose player to play basegame animations. They are usually much more expressive than what CC pose creators make (many of whom aren't that good at expressions or just sort of ignore it) and you've got a bunch of them for most conceivable emotions and situations (within the confines of the game of course). Together with TOOL it's incredibly useful.

I can use TOOL just fine for rotations, degrees are obvious inputs.

Any translation in the x or y plane and the sim goes ... well, heaven only knows where?. Integers appear to be too large. I've tried tenths and hundreths and still seem to screw up. What sort of scale should I be using for x, y, or z on a normal 1080p resolution?

Well, only elevation really seems to work out for me. The "Move" function doesn't seem to work with sims for me. In my experience raising a sim from ground level to bed height you have put it ~0.6 if you want an example, to 1 is probably the highest you'll ever need to elevate sims, and that's probably too high.

Huh! I'm sorry, but also relieved to know its not just me. In Episode 24 of "The Maltese Dildo" (posting a week from Friday), I used rotation to make Jill horizontal, and then elevation to raise her to bed height. But to position her on the bed, I found I had to move the bed under her!!

 

It would be so helpful if we could get x and y movement working!

@mrrakkonn @Juliette Tango IIRC, For height, "1" seems to be equal to the sim's height. For x, y movement, you need to make the sim the "active object". Then, you'll need to click on the floor, in the location you want the sim to go. Meaning, you won't be able to move them onto a bed, because you'll have to click the same spot as the bed, without clicking on the bed. It would be cool if having an object be active would let you click anywhere and ignore other objects.

you can, I just have trouble getting it to work the way I want.? (sometimes it seems to do nothing -when it does work it's independent of the sim's orientation). The way I do it is just make the sim the active object, then click move, then Shift+Click the spot you want them to go. However, as I mentioned you can't use that method if a bed is in the way (unless you can click under the bed).

 

I got it to work. If you do it by just typing, this is the difference of typing in "5,0"

Mhm, what about in combination with the Teleporter Statue at the point of the bed?

yeah, I know. I use typically use TOOL in conjunction with the teleporter status, the teleporter statues are much more precise than moving around by shift-clicking and using active objects, which you need for stuff like couple and group poses. I used to get sims on top of objects and such before as well using the teleporter statues, using bb.moveobjects and the controls to move objects up and down. TOOL for me has mostly just made what I used to do before much more convenient. I can adjust a sim's rotation and elevation without resetting them, which will happens with the teleporter statues because you have to place them down again, rotate or raise them and then put your sim in the pose and see how it looks and if you need to do it again.

Really, it works? I tried it recently and I couldn't move sims at all using the command.

I think that really is the biggest thing. It saves SO MUCH time and work. Not the right angle? Okay, just adjust the number again. If I can get the co-ordinate system working ALL the time, that would be amazing.
