eviljanitor Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Fantastic' date=' Now I'm going to have some of them farming. Because they've got to eat as well. I've never played farmville, what are some other things you can do [/quote']  Well... Farmville is more of a social networking game, but the idea is to farm things that other players may need or want. Basically a simulated agrarian market.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FarmVille  What I think I am visioning is a resource management simulation that involves making the food or resources needed to maintain and further the improvement and growth an army of Deathclaws. Of course, this is a more dynamic process for the NPCs involved than what you probably have done before.  In other words, to make the content more engaging, the NPCs would have to go through the motions of getting pregnant, carrying the young, and birthing as a cycle. Just like the player would. This could be on an automated cycle of course, but darn fun to watch.  There would also have to be tasks to cull the herd as it gets bigger and then give the resulting steaks to the deathclaws or other breeders as needed. On the other side of the simulation, there would be a regular demand for food and resources for the Deathclaws and/or breeders to function and grow optimally. This would require making sure you have enough breeders and brahmas to keep up with demand. If you don't meet the necessary demand, the player would have to conduct other tasks to add more breeders or find more resources to improve the farming operations.  I'm just brainstorming here, but such a simulation would be dramatically different from normal static and linear tasks and quests. Not far off from the housecleaning quest you created in Riverside, but on a much much larger and more dynamic scale.  No need to do all of this in one update of course. The simulation can grow and change as you learn more about what may be possible in the GECK. Build it in baby deathclaw steps, and we will cum... er... come. I wouldn't mind seeing this done in a lesser way for the bighorner episode its what i was getting at when i suggested quite awile back. adding a still, updating and maintaining a generator, fixing fences and farming corn. (after all the deathclaw stuff is done of course and you have nothing else to do)
OLOsin Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 That level of detail I just can't do. NPC pregnancies just aren't reliable yet. Â Aye... I expected as such... but the framework of establishing the farm can be built. Â The rest we can put our imagination to for the time being until possible new GECK capabilities are created or found. Â Again, this is all brainstorming. But the Internet was built on brainstorming, so can SexOutBreeder!! hehe Â
zippy57 Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Considering the way the game handles NPCs, I'm not sure NPC pregnancies will ever be reliable. But you could fake it.
theblacksmith Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Ok I'm building the next update in my head (just something I gotta do before I sit down to actually geck it in) and so far here's the list of stuff I want to put in + your suggestions. That I can remember. If you want to see something (repeatable) tacked onto the end of the deathclaw campaign now is the time to pitch me the idea. Or remind me if I just forgot it  > More deathclaw patrols around novac > Remove the Alpha from Riverside' date=' add sex options to the Praetorians, Incolas and the patrolers. > Repeatable (3 day cooldown) deathclaw defense missions at novac, nelson, and riverside. > At the end of a successful defense, sometimes there'll be a female NCR trooper left over. There'll be a few different conversations, but if you choose the right path through you can "break her" and she'll join the town. Otherwise she'll just turn hostile. > Add a few groups of wondering deathclaw preachers. > Sort of a repeatable mini quest with the "NCR" in the firehouse. There'll be a doctor in the basement, conversing with her will trigger a few different scenarios that can play out with those girls. I'm thinking one where they become too pregnant and you have to care for them, and another with live deathclaw births maybe? Let me know if you've got another idea for an experiment. > Assisting the girls with birth. > Assisting in knocking girls up. > Deathclaw mutation compatible armor. > Bighorner breeders  That's probably about all I'll be able to get done. As I said shoot ideas at me. [/quote']  Alright, I've got some ideas to bounce around. - The P7 body would work well for the "too pregnant" idea. Maybe even make a P8 body if you want to go REALLY big. - "Assisting in knocking girls up" makes it sound like there might be some futa. Hell if I know how complicated scripting that would be, though. - I'd definitely like to see some mutation-compatible armor. The Raider and Mercenary armor sets seem to fit the bill, but that's just my opinion. - Pregnant versions of the mutation armors. - Increased pregnancy size after gaining the deathclaw mutation. Carrying three eggs should make the PC larger than the P3/single egg body.

The problem is the player's model would have to be changed, probably via an equipped bodysuit if some kind.
Guest user29 Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Yeah that's not going to happen. I was thinking more matchmaker, deathclaw edition.
paladuin Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 hmm only thing ive run into testing past riverside is that titus need escape dialogue to end conversation with him otherwise you get stuck in a loop of will you breed me(i did check a few pages back, it may be a known issue but didnt see it)
windglaive Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Ran into a problem. I am trying to do the second supply raid mission and I get well asploded and taken in but when i do the NCR commander gives me the lines from Nipton again and everyone starts shooting. Dieing 5 times kind of sucked.
paladuin Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 ya user29 i got bored a bit and played with what was allowed equipable with the deathclaw mutation     Â

(as in when the mod loader thingy comes up) [/quote']  for just this one, you'll need sexoutNG, sexout common rescources, sexout pregnancy, and then sexout breeder, in that load order. read through the OP's of each thread, theyll tell you what you need to each mod to function correctly.  if tis your first time using sexout at all i strongly reccommend reading through http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=9827 its basicly a starters guide to get your body base and basics down  http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=8803 heres some quick links to all the sexout plugins, just point and click, read to make sure you have the requirements, and build your own freaky fantasy, good luck.
Bashis Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 i think i hit a new personal record, fallout new vegas data folder, 50.2 gigs.
Lordhavoc Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 its been awhile since ive used it so yeh i think i might go back to square 1. and daaaaaymmm! thats big (thats what she said!!!!) Â and i remember when the preg mod was first made, so at least with some of the mods i wont need to read on how they work unless, they got heavily changed these past months
theblacksmith Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 i think i hit a new personal record' date=' fallout new vegas data folder, 50.2 gigs. [/quote'] Â Sounds like quite a collection. Any favorites to suggest?

Any favorites to suggest? Â not a freaking clue honestly, i havnt tried half of it, keep having to start new games due to game breaking issues, but i should get into the good stuff soon, im almost positive its stable now, although the hoverboard is pretty fun, that and beyond boulder dome campaign is better than even the bethesda dlc. Â pretty sure half of the data usage is the new campaigns and the clothing pack in the other section of lovers labs, that sucker is 16 gigs but pretty much stripped the entier clothing catalog off the nexus and made it into 1 esp
Guest user29 Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 I'm going to guess part of the reason you're having so many problems is because you've got so many things going. Â I usually do a fresh install with just the stuff I want every 6 months or so to keep things stable.
eviljanitor Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 my fallout nv folder is on 38.9 gb my fallout 3 folder is 19.3 gb and my oblivion folder is 23.4 gb fallout nv mods i would suggest sexout (always) fook nevada skies destruction weapon mods expanded vurts wfo (wastland flora overhaul) wfo breeder patch on op wave radio sexout breeder

I usually do a fresh install with just the stuff I want every 6 months or so to keep things stable.  naw, most of my problems were because when i was newer at modding i would dump alot of crap in my folders and just run with it, then couldnt undo a broken mod without completely reinstalling fallout because i didnt have the original files, ive been alot more careful lately. the "game breaking" issues im talking about are more or less me not knowing how mods work and fucking myself over, so i guess i should reword it as ruining my save, not breaking my game. ive actually only got roughly 120 plugins so im good on the limitations of the engine

eviljanitor Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 So far i have had no problems with it works just like the fallout 3 version (without the destroyable doors and locks though). (back on topic) how goes the update so far user 29.
Guest user29 Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 I only did a few new patrols. I'd guess the next update will be thursday. Â Which means Friday. Â Or Saturday Morning. Â Because that's how these things work.
theblacksmith Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 I love that Bethesda is so open to the modding community and that they help us with stuff like Skyrim's Creation Kit.
