What are you doing right now in Skyrim (Screenshot required)

Just cleared Moss Mother Cavern on the way to Bilegulch Mine. Night Eye running because the place is too dark otherwise, and there's at least one bear trap waiting for me in the dark.

My current attendants, one vampire and one necromancer, stand ready to see to my needs, as always.

Camped outside Rorikstead, breaking in some recent acquisitions.

I found Aurora effects to be quite striking.

Still camped outside Rorikstead. Finally got the last of my rebellious girls broken in, so I hthough I'd hold a dance party to celebrate.

Pity about the snow. I'd hoped for a darker night in the hopes of some cool light and shadow effects from the fire.

I suppose at some point I'm going to have to pack things up here and head to Whiterun. I need to talk to Ysolda about a wedding ring...

Posted (edited)

Arrived in Riften to rest up before moving on to Witchmist Grove and retrieve Izzy's wedding ring. Stooped off to see the kid who was supposed to be summoning the Dark Brotherhood. Now he wants us to kill his schoolteacher. That takes me back a bit :)

Took the opportunity to guide Vampire Lizzy through a few orgasms. She hasn't been the most sexual of creatures and has needed a little more help than most. She has loosened up considerably since she first came into my service. Still, there's always room for improvement, right?

ScreenShot222.png

I would worry about the sight corrupting the Arentino lad, but given that he just hired me to kill his old headmistrress, I don't think there's much there to corrupt.

Come on then Lizzie! I want another five orgasms out of you, and then we can go shopping!

[edit]

Did you ever have one of those days when everything just got completely out of hand?

ScreenShot223.png

OK, I admit it. I just like the way the light come is through the skylight.

Home sweet home.

Spoiler

I've never built the storage room addition for any of the Hearthfire houses.

It looks way better than the trophy room and makes you feel like someone's actually living here.

Spoiler

I especially like its exterior. I can already see the cozy evenings I'll be spending with my friends.

Being able to move freely around my house is also a neat bonus.

Heh. I always build  the Alchemy tower. Waste of time since it doesn't offer anything I don't already have, but I like the look of the thing.

Maybe I should rethink that.

Built the enchanting tower once, was quite the experience. Every time I had sex in there, I fell through the map.

Actually, it's pretty much vanilla. Only thing I use that might alter the look is Lux Via, and I don't think we can see any of that from this angle. I'm just approaching from Fort Greymoor and sneaking, so it's a low camera angle.

I think the main thing that makes it look different is the clouds and moon and the light quality.  I'm using Re-Engaged ENB and NAT Weather if that helps.

Although, now I look again, that does look like a door in that wall that I don't remember being there.

I shall have to check that out. That's what I love about modded Skyrim - there's always something unexpected.

I'll investigate when I get back home. I've got a few mods that add little bits here and there. It's probably one of those.

Ysmira got some new armor, and Whiterun got a much-needed makeover.

The walk around deck is why I always build the same three wings. The stuff you get via the various internal choices never does seem to matter since you get enough, or bring enough, that everything is covered. The alchemy table and enchanting table are in the center so you don't need the towers for those and unless you end up wanting a certain herb that respawns when the house resets, which is gonna be very rare and was never in my case, and the fact that the bedroom was one of the choices made me happy. Extra beds for recruited/enslaved/MHIYH NPCs was handy.

Working on a new blog entry for a new character in the story. She's a lonely, centuries old "vanilla" vampire with no ties to any of the clans, no stake in the civil war, and she's just plain tired of having to drink blood to survive.

Nadja overheard a rumor that a certain mage in Morthal has found a cure for vampirism, so she's set out on a quest to become mortal again.

OK, I checked it out!

One arch is the tunnel via which the stream exits the city

ScreenShot225.png

The other isn't a door at all, but another arch.

ScreenShot226.png

It gives access to this little room on the battlements. Lots of fortified windows so you can snipe at attackers.

ScreenShot227.png

Would be a pretty nice piece of defensive design, if the entrance wasn't outside the drawbridge. As it ism any attacker that siezes the  outer defences can use this to attack defenders inside the drawbridge from a position of advantage.  I think I want a word with Balgruuf's city architect.

In any case, all these statics are placed by Skyrim.esm, so almost certainly in the base game.

ScreenShot228.png

Finally, here's a young lady with no clothes on to... give the setting a sense of scale! Yes, that's it! Scale.

I got as far as Helgen.

And that's not including the girl I have chained on her knees by the bed in the house behind me.
