I use all the animations except those that seem LL_FourPlay centric. (i.e. Four-Play animations Crazy6987 v1.3) <<-- which I assumed it was calling for as @Cealapa seemed to confirm. I did and do update as soon as I see new animation updates. I have been doing this for a while so I try to be conscience of requirements. I tried to install the aforementioned LL Crazy anim, but seemed to not be visible to my system. UAP did not see it and there was no load order conflicts to work out. Edit>> However, I used AAF1.8 yesterday to no ill effect or missing anims, at least it did not make a call for the culprit xml. Should I install that Crazy v1.3 file? I have never used it before the missing animation issue. I only attempted to install it to see if it helped. I still got empty call. Glad 1.8 went fine. Since that file didn't help, I wouldn't keep it unless one of your packs lists it as a requirement. If the empty one comes back on 1.8, post the full animation name from the scene window and your Papyrus log from that session and I'll take a look. 1

"Four-Play Crazy6987 v1.3" does not have its own ESP file. Therefore FOMOD cannot check for its presence. Therefore, the absence of Crazy hkx files is a standard problem when all requirements are not installed carefully enough. 2

I typically just test on a very limited custom sandbox set of animations/xml.

Thanks a lot for clarification, so it is most likely one of my 300+ active mods or remnants of older Installations to blame...back to digging then, as soon as the time permits, sooner or later it will work.
