To LL moderation: Can you please remove these trolling comments from my project thread? The issue has been settled, discussed and explained. And I put a clear notice about it in the OP (that this is not the place to discuss it).

i for my part only ask for a way to download if without joining the discord server which is possible without uploading it anywhere else via providing a direct download link to the uploaded file which is possible.
so it wont change anything about the settlet part and you wont need to upload it anywhere else, you just need to provide a damn direct download link to your already uploaded file and you dont even need to remove your discord invite.

i have already seen other mods that provide a direct download link for a file uploaded to discord and besides that i would call it general bad practice to change availability of a already for long enough present mod that multiple mods from different mod authors require it to function.

and as for the settled part:
i have just started modding fo4 roughly a day before my initial comment in this thread, so if stuff about it was asked here in the past to get an opinion about it then its something i did miss.

as one more sidenote:
asking for linking to an already uploaded file wouldnt fall under my definition of discussion.
none of my posts was postet as trolling but as a legitimate request for availability without needing to join the discord server by providing a download link.

i know of no mod that is keeping the whole nontest versions of the mod locked behind joining a discord server besides aaf.
while i know that some do use discord as the main provider of the mod they atleast provide a direct download link to the already uploaded file so that you can download it without needing to join the discord.

outgoing how outspoken you are about your end of the chain and the amount of time you did use for that still makes me question how hard it can be to provide a simple link, would there been one it wouldnt even have started.
and i only startet it cause nearly every mod that has something to do with animations needs aaf to work and thus you are locking everyone that doesnt join your discord (due to one reason or another) out of using these mods and this is the part why i startet it all:
you have a mod that has become one of the major moddependencies and made the decision to lock it behind using a voicechat and writingchat app that without providing an alternate way to get it even with pointing towards the option that you dont need to upload it anywhere else and just need to do a directdownloadlink to the modfile so that it can be downloaded without using that voicechat and writingchatapp.

I installed a game(?) here on LL and got banned from Discord in less than 10 minutes (unexpected behavior on Discord).

OK, fresh start on Discord. That's fine!

 

But there was no warning on LL about this malware and the hacking. This is not nice! That's why I don't want any more links outside of LL.

 

At least there should be a warning if a Download is banned on LL!

once again: nothing is intended as trolling and i would never do any intended trolling.

for me it come over as if you are inconsiderade about providing a direct download link to the already uploaded file on the discord cause you want people to use your discord so that it has more traffic.
as already said: you wouldnt even need to upload it anywhere else and only need to put the link either in your moddescription or under the download button.
