No, I thought I had, but I was using the usual .exe file to start it. I just tried using the Launch CSE.bat file to start the CS, but I received an error saying that the extender failed to initialize and that I should close the CS. The log for the extender seems to be saying this is because I have Oblivion installed in the default folder that Steam assigns it to.

 

Is there something I can do besides moving everything? My Oblivion folder has become rather bloated at 25 GB, so I would rather not move it if possible.

 

Well I don't use Steam so this may differ a little from your setup.

 

1. Right mouse click on the TES Construction Set icon, then select Properties.

2. In the text box titled "Target" type the following:

C:Games\Oblivion\obse_loader.exe -editor

3. Make sure Start in: also points to your Oblivion install location, should be something like, C:\Games\Oblivion.

Change or modify the above paths to where your files are.

And theoretically you should be able to create a desktop icon for CS with that line of text they have you entering via the command prompt.

TYVM Ichabod for the latest update. Shame is, I can't take advantage of it.

For some reason, after Lyssa offers my toon the knock out drug the mod refuses to update. I simply stay in the slaver camp in a state that is neither completely enslaved nor free. Weird eh? I offer my load order if that helps:

varenne, If you are referring to the dog animations not working with the dog/wolf walking as if on a treadmill, then that's an old problem that has beaten even the great Donkey in the past. I found that making my toon crawl aboout a lot seemed to lessen its frequency somewhat.

I also noted that when escorted back to the camp, Lyssa would occasionally "fall through the floor" leaving my toon stranded on the island. I coped with this by saving often and reloading frequently. Sooner or later Lyssa would successfully get back to the stockade.

Trader camp and maid quests working nicely for me now. Discovering new little details each time. Impressed me when the lord actually started snacking after dinner was cooked and served.

 

Some more things I've noticed:

Also getting the doubled ogre mesh, and the constantly repeating equip sound in the maid outfit.

 

Fang has no junk. I do have the LB datapack installed, but not the esp.

 

The magic slave leash is a bit inconvenient in Pellhams manor due to the open two-story floor plan and oblivion's shitty pathing. Had a few instances where he goes upstairs and I end up stuck downstairs, although eventually the teleport kicks in.

 

Request, but would be nice if the other girls in the slave pen got their share of the conditioning too. What race is the one on the far right btw (Jenny Gill or something)?

No, that was the least of my issues experienced. The only time I started to 'fall through' was in the tower. You can also use the console and tcl to get back to ground level.

 

I'm leaning towards animation issues and/or scripts, and we'll just need to be patient and let Ichabod figure out what he can, try and help where we can.

 

I'm going to try and optimize later today all meshes with PyFFI to see if that helps at all. The mesh flashing issue is another pet peeve and I'm going to look deeper into that one too.

 

There are also members on Hongfire that have deep knowledge or more experience with OBSE scripting, or at least deeper than mine, which isn't saying much since I'm still IMO a novice when it comes to OBSE.

Bumping this:

 

The minigame seems not to be working. The game detects the minigame because when I press L key the console says I have no lockpick. However when I finally get one lockpick I can't use one - pressing L key does not do anything. No message pop up in the console when I press L after I get lockpick.

 

No matter how many times I tried I couldn't start mini game :C

This is by far my favorite adult mod in progress right now! Question:

 

 

What are you supposed to do to feed the master? I could be dumb, and this could just be a game mechanic I've never used, but am I supposed to actually cook him a meal whence I become his maid? Hows? I just stood around waiting until it told me I disobeyed him >_<

When it says it's mealtime, just head for the basement kitchen and stand near the fireplace. It'll say that you're cooking the meal. After a while it says you're done, then go up and stand near Pellham by the table and you'll be serving.

Oh, I do so agree.

It's far too easy to sit back and whinge and whine. I'm not into that. My technical skills are much lower than your own and I am in no haste to recieve a resolution to my problem, in fact I nearly didn't report it at all.

I believe that Ichabod has picked this ball up and is running with it. For that alone he has my respect and admiration. It is good to know that he has support and help from quality folk such as yourself.

V0.43 up with a few minor changes and a major one.

 

- Fixed another idiot moment when you complete the maid quest and the lockpick minigame stops working.

- Changed Fang to a Bear. Hopefully that will stop any LB issues. (Need to amend the conversations now)

- Used ItemCount on tokens now so even if the code spams you with multiple ones it will remove them all.

 

Ragged Robin: No idea why the teleport will not kick in for you there. Do you normally teleport when too far from your master?

 

You could try coc lordpellhamsestate in the console. If he beats the hell out of you, it means the quest is not updating properly.

 

Not had the falling through the world issue before. No idea here.

 

I shall add in Unequip before the Equip maid clothing and see if that helps. It may be the PlayerWithQuest variable is not updating as it should. Added in a double check for that.

Try holding L down a while. It may be a slow script issue. I get it with K key sometimes.

No additions to the AddOns yet. I shall probably create a patch file for any bits rather than making people download the lot again. :)

Cheers for the spoiler help Ichabod, if I get stuck later on I will give it a try.

I deliberately set up a MOM image simply to play this mod. If I get stuck or anything then all I need do is move over to another game I'm playing.

I'm going to start over afresh with as bare bones a setup as I can manage. Since the problem with the chapter updating seems to be mine alone, it must be something that I have loaded here.

As for falling through the world - My toon didn't but often when returning from the fort Lyssa would seem to disappear just as she stepped over the last bridge to the little slaver island. This would strand my toon as she was in follow mode. Sorry I wasn't that clear, was I?

Suggestion: Maybe you could add the number of being enslaved to the list of Accomplishments? :)

Running PyFFI on all meshes for this didn't seem to improve FPS in and around the slaver camp. I typically avg about 28-32 in heavy areas, max clamp is set at 40FPS. In or looking at slaver camp it drops to 5-8 FPS, walking up stairs in Fort Redmond, certain spots also drop to 5-8. Could it have something to do with the paths you had to add?

 

Teleporting in to Fort Redmond all slaves in pen are kneeling. Coming in from West while enslaved they are not. (I may try sneaking in from West next just to see.)

 

Audio, still no clue as to why the audio is lagging behind the whip animations. Best guess is a duration mismatch. I may look into this a bit deeper...

 

Boar & Ogre Mesh Flashing/Fluttering

Cause is duplicate meshes. In CS omit the body for each and use one with armor in title; boararmor.nif, ogrearmor.nif or ogrearmor_m.nif from LoversCreature_SexualOrgans_M MOD.

 

I know you changed Fang, but missing dog penis for some is many will have dogd.nif from LoversBitch. CREvilDogDiinger.nif, not as many will have this one I think.

 

Other

While in CS Tamriel cell, 11, 344 is purple as if missing a texture.

 

The falling through floor is a Lovers MOD issue, not your MOD.

Great looking mod. Both my wife and I have given it a try. A few observations...

 

-Tried it on bandits, marauders, highwaymen.

-Sometimes the factions seem screwed-up. The slave-trader would fight the bandit, etc that captured the PC. Imperial Guards attacked a highwayman. Weird stuff in general.

-The slave trader...is he spawned or does he walk? Either way its a long time and makes play testing difficult. Twice I was handed-off to another marauder instead of a slave trader (didn't show) and remained in camp. Once with a bandit while in a group of them. More than a few times, after well over an hour, the slave trader still never showed.

-Turning-on LandE while this was running provided interesting results but the two timers, no doubt, conflicted. No more Mr Nice-guy slavers, anyways. You might wish to try it out yourselves.

 

These observations are all subject to my particular dog's breakfast of mods/load order. This mod is running right near the bottom in mine. Thanks for the recent updates...will carry-on testing.

I've never had a problem of falling through the level before, at least not from a Lovers mod. Except times where i've been clipped through walls, though I don't think that counts.

My favorites are still when LandE tosses you a couple of miles...just enough time to boost health and take a restore before you smack into a mountain side. High enough level and you live!

One last comment for today. Wacking the slaver 'Boyz' was a challenge with those paralyze weapons they have. Even with a level 35 PC, Midas spells and From2chLives NPCs helping out. My PC ended in H anims every few seconds...

just some possible other ideas that may have been mentioned ,as this thread is very long now:)

 

Duel Enslavement with your favorite gal pal.

 

I usually party with either vilja or neeshka and it would be nice if I was enslaved that the slavers,if they got the upper hand against vilja/neeska that they enslaved her along with me instead of just beating her to death.vilja /neeska dying is not really much of a problem as I can just revive her with mad companions spells but the dual enslavement might be fun.
