I also had a question about animated beast cock's MNC patch. I saw in the ABC support page you mentioned deleting the MNC patch from the ABC file as it just messed with the werewolves, but when I did that my male horses were all nullo. Could have been caused by MNC because I was on the version that had issues with the unbound quest, so maybe my horses never properly loaded. 

Should I still be deleting that MNC patch in ABC's files?

If you open the ABC's "MNC Patch" with SSEedit  (xEdit) you will see that only the Werewolfs are overwritten.  You want true MNC Werewolf or non-ABC custom then disable the plugin (no need to delete).   Maybe your horses are trans-werewolf, do not judge them. 😁

 

You did not mention if your horses are mod-custom.  There are some patches in the separate MNC compatibility file. 

Nullo is a good horse name, like roach. 😎

Remember load order in plugins and in file overwrites are important. Losers Last wins.

Meaning issues can be another mod modifying\overwriting last.  Obviously the first troubleshoot step is to make sure MNC overwrite everything by moving it last in the plugins and mod manager deployment. Any MNC patch\Dependency need to also be moved after MNC.   Test if that solve it and go to next steps.

i don't, that should not be possible with stock mnc meshes/body template flags.

People please help a fool!

 

I tried to use PSBoss' Vampire lord but ended up fucking up the file system (I think).

I think I had a few manually installed files from PSBoss in the beginning and I removed all of the files that he provides. Tried installing through mod manager, still invisible. Tried replacing the meshes and textures in MNC as well still invisible body.

Now even when I tried to replace it back to MNC files my vampire lord is still fucking invisible.

Can a kind soul please provide me with the necessary file structure of a working vampire lord? xdd

 

I tried replacing so many things that I don't even know which files in which directories belong to MNC, ABC or PSBoss and any time I start the game and see an invisible female vampire lord I lose a bit of my soul.

 

If you could also tell me which files exactly I need to replace to have the nude PCBoss vampire lord that'd be the cherry on top.

 

 

Edit: Here is a big ass screenshot of I think every vampire lord file maybe you'll be able to compare to your own working one and tell me whether you see something that shouldn't be there or which of the files I replaced but shouldn't.

After reinstalling MNC I was still invisible but then after I transformed back to human and then again to vampire lord suddenly the textures showed up correctly. I assume this is the correct MNC female vampire lord. Now all over again to try and get PSBoss' version to work...

Okay it seems to be a bigger issue than just meshes and textures. It most likely has something to do with race because the first time Harkon makes me transform I am invisible, before I transform I can feed on the thrall that stands in that tutorial room. Right after transform to vampire lord and then back some mod must not recognise that I was a vampire before and I can't feed on the thrall anymore, at the same time I am essentially locked out of continuing the DLC because none of the NPCs recognise me as a vampire anymore but whenever I transform to vampire lord I am not invisiible anymore.

Any time I was a vampire -> transform to vampire lord = invisible

vampire lord -> dark elf = not vampire anymore

dark elf -> vampire lord = visible

Now anytime I want to speak to the npcs I have to change my race to vampire per console... I do have race compatibility installed as well.

still have not been able to recreate the crash, but if that is indeed the cause then you should be able to disable them in the CF MCM.

unlike most creatures vampire lords actually are wearing armor, so that causes a bit of an issue when dealing with other vampire mods because in most cases they are editing both the body and the armor mesh, mnc may have some changes in it (such as body template flags) that are not getting overridden by the other mod.

Thanks for the answer but the thing is that I don't have any single other vampire mod installed. The only thing I have installed werewolf mods like TWO, monster facial animations, werewolf prostitution and werewolves redux. I had my fun with werewolves on my previous playthrough and wanted to go for vampire lord this time, I do not have PSBoss' vampire lord isntalled anymore either since I couldn't get the file swaps to work (maybe it did work but that race bug made it look invisible as it is now)

So I somehow fixed the issue with vampire lord transformation fucking up my race. Now whenever I transform and transform back I stay a vampire...

Which leads to the actual problem whenever I transform from DarkElfRaceVampire to vampire lord I am invisible. So as you said it might be that mod but the problem is MFA is a master to TWO total werewolf overhaul which when disabled also needs me to disable werewolf prostitution.

So I guess I'll hop over to those three mods and begin searching for a solution in any of those.

A weird bug with iLuvLoading https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16915  ,before active  iLuvLoading wallpaper works well the dragon wallpaper bring by MoreNastyCritters, after active  iLuvLoading ,works well, the sexy wallpaer,after disable iLuvLoading and leave MoreNastyCrittersSE actived ,my main menu wallpaper became blank blue, then disable MoreNastyCrittersSE ,the default wallpaper come back  (reinstall MoreNastyCrittersSE  also resolve the blue wallpaper)

The only mods that I have installed are werewolf prostitution, TWO and with that monster facial animation since it's a hard requirement and Sexlab werewolves redux but that one doesn't have any meshes afaik.

 

And it turns out it was monster facial expressions. In the end it was user error like most of the time so sorry for wasting your time, I had the wrong monster facial animations downloaded and assumed I had the right one because nexus showed a previously downloaded symbol on both files.

Ah right I completely forgot that was because I edited the files so the herma prostitutes are displayed with TWO's model

 

The last piece to this puzzle is getting PSBoss' vampire lord to work, I have it installed and additionally try to swap out the nifs and textures but it either doesn't work and I still see the MNC version or the entire skeleton fucks up and I am a blob of textures on the floor.

If it is correct that you are using Vortex like what @MadMansGun said, then try using the purge feature and wait for it to complete.  It should remove all tracked\deployed files. After complete you can do a re-deployment.   If you do not wait or something happens, then on the next deployment it will trigger a mass deletion warning, and you need to select that all to be redeployed from source, any other option will record the deleted files as true and corrupt the deployment. 

 

You can also go to "game-folder\data\meshes\interface\logo" and remove logo.nif and logo01ae.nif.  Reinstall iluvloading.

  Know that iluvloading copied the loading screen mesh for the civil war map and modified it with a reference to "game-folder\data\textures\interface\objects\MAINMENUWALLPAPER.dds". If MAINMENUWALLPAPER.dds is not available it will also show that blueish screen, meaning texture not found.

Even with all Soul Cairn models disabled in the MNC’s MCM and creatures re-registered, I still get a CTD here.  
Only after deleting 'dlcsoulcairnwispHard.nif' from MNC does it return to normal.

yeah reactive iluvloading or reinstall  iluvloading/More Nasty Critters fixs my issue.but once deactive iluvloading ,blue mainmenu,each time switch the statue of iluvloading,I have to reinstall MNC, this is annoying especially building my modlist and testing mods

Just did some testing. My testing procedure was to: do any disabling/enabling of creatures in the Creature Framework MCM, then save outside of the Soul Cairn entrance in Volkihar Ruins, and quit to desktop (to hopefully avoid any random script interference). Then, load the game back up and walk into the Soul Cairn and follow around a wisp for a few minutes (the crash has typically been within 5/10 seconds of approaching a SC Wisp, so this should pretty well guarantee it).


My results):

  • Disabled 'Wisp' (the non-SC kind) and 'Soul Cairn Wisp': no crash.
  • Re-enabled 'Wisp' so only 'Soul Cairn Wisp' was disabled: no crash.
  • Re-enabled 'Soul Cairn Wisp', so I'm back to the state where I originally had the problem: crash (phew, that would have been embarrassing).
  • Disabled 'Soul Cairn Wisp', while leaving 'Wisp' enabled: no crash.

So the crash seems to be some kind of conflict/interaction between the regular wisps and soul cairn wisps.

 

I can't technically guarantee that another mod I have installed isn't interfering (since I didn't try uninstalling all mods but MNC and its requirements), but I'm fairly certain that's not the case. I opened up SSEEdit and looked at both MNC and Creature Framework - no (wisp-relevant) conflicts. I also ran a search for 'wisp' (not case sensitive) in my mods folder, and again, nothing relevant outside of MNC or CF (just XPMSSE/animation packs/my FNIS output, and a couple book titles from Animal Research).

i managed to figure out half of whats going on (and yes it is 100% causing the crash being reported, and in actual fact both wisps have the problem):

 

1. why the problem is showing up now:

the older CF never actually worked on the "DLC1SoulCairnSoulWispRace", it did not have the "ActorTypeCreature" keyword so it was never a valid race to apply meshes to, but the new CF works by just ignoring anything with the "ActorTypeNPC" keyword, therefor making the race valid and in turn revealing the problem.

 

2. why the normal wisp is not crashing:

the file in MNC has the wrong name, therefor the mesh was never actually applied, but fixing the name has revealed that it is also crashing.

 

3. why was not crashing on my end:

it turns out at some point in 2017 i had replaced there original meshes with the skinny "aroused" meshes, meaning that they always had the aroused mesh in my game, hence why i never saw the problem. but this now adds to my confusion, because that means the meshes themselves are fine and are not the actual cause of the crash, applying them is.

 

 

at this point i only see 2 fixes:

completely remove them from MNC (i don't think anyone has made animations for them anyways)

or

make them always use the skinny mesh (assuming that the meshes actually are fine).

.....the wisps are more convoluted than i thought, it turns out there body mesh is not there body mesh as all, there real body is just a invisible ball mesh, and what i thought was there body is actually a magic effect/spell.....therefor meaning the game is crashing because i have the mnc/cf setup to replace a body mesh with a magic effect mesh.
