1.6.0

- NEW: Armor pieces can be damaged but repaired. When damaged, armor cannot be worn, until the player repairs it at an Armor or Chem workbench (just open the crafting menu and all damaged armor will be repaired and re-equipped). Damaged armor actually dont exist in player's inventory. Instead, player will get a "Damaged Armor" placeholder to help indicate how many damaged armor the player has.

- CHANGED: "Damaged leg/arm/torso" indicators have been deprecated. Players no longer receive them when body parts get damaged.

 

Note the armor damage system is currently experimental. It works, but you MIGHT forever lose those items. So, consider yourself warned! Unless you have confidence in it after many hours of use, only use it if youre wearing armor you dont might never seeing again.

When hit, will the armor pieces inevitably be damaged and need to be repaired, or does it run alongside the traditional system?

I'm not seeing how to fix damaged armor pieces? i see them as !Damaged Armor (2) as I have 2 broken pieces, but going to a armor or chem lab doesn't seem to do anything, am I missing something?

 

Yeah, turned on God Mode, turned damaged pieces to 100., walked in front of a turret and let it damage 13 armor pieces. Went to a armor bench, still broken. Went to a chem station, still broken. Main page says automatically but its not happening.

I set the probability of damage to 20%, as soon as I go to a chemistry station, the damaged armor part is repaired
I set the probability of armor being destroyed to 0%
could it be that your parts are destroyed instead of damaged?

Don't think so. I started with damage 10% and destroyed 0%. First time I had items damaged went to a chem station and nothing happened. Then went 100% damage, Destroy 0% and still nothing happens.

I once had a problem where CSL didn't seem to be installed properly. Vaultbait tried forever to help me. Uninstalling and then reinstalling solved the problem. We don't know what it was.

[Minor Conflict]

 

CSL conflicts with Stimpaks help you breathe by Elzee. It's a minor conflict, but it pervents me from healing stripped body parts with stimpaks.

 

I know this might not be the best place to ask for help, but could anyone assist me in solving the conflict with xEdit? I loaded both CSL and Stimpaks help you breathe, and I can see the conflicts, but don't know how to proceed from there.

Curious if we can get a few more slots in the works if this mod ever gets an update... I am using VTAW clothing and I feel like it just uses too many damn slots and this mod can't destroy 1 or 2 pieces left.

A problem I'm having is that glowing ghouls' close range constant area damage continuously proc's CSL's actions. While this may not be a bad thing if your toon is into ghouls, it continues to affect the player even when AAF is attempting a scene and AAF keeps aborting from taking 'damage' (or whatever) even if no health damage is occurring. Thus, no scene. :(

You can set a flat chance where any attacks from certain races can trigger a strip. Races are divided into 4 categories: Ferals, Human, Animals, Mutants. 
WARNING: Just like unlucky hits, this can be triggered by ANYTHING. It's recommended that you set the chance to low (or even 0) for races that's known to have DoT effects or damage auras that ticks frequently (like Feral Ghoul's radiation damage aura). This feature is more BETA, since I can't figure out how to separate out DoTs and auras.

Hello Twisted,

 

Idea for an option for Combat Strip > Destroy on Strip... Legendary Armor - Choices: Destroy, Drop, Unequip.  The idea is to save those legendary items from being destroyed and instead be able to have them simply dropped or unequipped.  Seems like it would be easy to implement.

Regarding the excessive 'hits' from a glowing mobs AoE, maybe if there was a way to suspend CSL's actions once the player is totally stripped *and* an AAF scene is starting. Or maybe even a little more awareness of Violate (or other) handlers of defeat/surrender. Once the player is butt naked and surrendered, let's face it: CSL has done it's job most admirably. But it needs to turn off to not interfere with the upcoming scene. :D

 

If it's hard to detect setup of an AAF scene, Violate has the option to set the player invulnerable until (and during?) a scene. Maybe if the player is invulnerable, CSL might not proc its effects? And then even if invulnerability is turned off due to the scene starting, to not proc during an AAF scene, either? Just an idea that I hope wouldn't be hard to implement. I mean, my gal really *loves* ghouls, particularly the big nasty glowing ones. Great sensations. ;)

Anyone ever find any sort of mod that tells you what you have equipped is what slots? Annoying going into CK to check all the time. Just curious. I swear there was a mod that had a side function that if you pressed it, told you what slots you had equipped.

If you're using Rad Morphing Redux, it has a utility feature in the sliders section of its MCM to give you exactly that list. Very handy. I suppose you could install it and then just completely disable morphing features if you don't want them.

THAT was the mod that had it. Yep... I will be. I was thinking it was FO4 Nude Basics, but I couldn't find the option when I installed it. Totally going to be using this mod just for that purpose. THANK YOU so very much

I can integrate tactical flashlights into CSL with two exceptions


the exceptions are vanguard's headgear and sonic eyepiece, which are index 31


is it possible to integrate this or is it not technically possible?

You've confirmed it's biped index 31 (FX) not biped slot 31 a.k.a. index 1 (Hair Long)? https://www.creationkit.com/fallout4/index.php?title=Biped_Slots

 

Anyway, I adjust equipment slots by making patch plugins with FO4Edit as a matter of course, because there are often similar range limitations or slot conflicts in/between other mods. That might be a process worth getting familiar with since mod authors rarely coordinate these details.

yes, index 31, slot 61
I've already tried to adjust clothes in fo4edit and failed. my actress didn't have a body anymore
I would, if I could, give the two things slot 17 (glasses).
