voices Does anyone else kinda hate the sims' voices during Wicked Whims animations?

After playing sims from 1st up to 4th, hours and hours enjoying KW on 3rd and having made animations of my own on 4th, I've moved into windowed mode and having youtube / spotify in the background giving me tunes I like to hear while I play and watch real porn on the side.

The list of decent voices for animations on flirty soft is too short to have a at least decent variety as some animations loop more than 4 times, being longer than 10 sec.

This is one reason I've not bothered adding sounds into my animations 'cause most animations uses the same loop and it's just annoying hearing the same speak over and over again... 

 

So in my personal humble opinion the problem is not the sounds, or voices animators are using, it's the looping of the animations that get to players nerves. and as WW base set of full rotation of animations from teasing to climax is around 3 mins/ or until climax is played we are hearing the animations looping way too many times.

 

But as in everything this is again upto every animators preferences and their PERSONAL interests on how they want their animations to play, and how their animations sound like. I'd personally would prefer just the effects and some male/ female moaning combined on animations, and once perhaps in every other animation a single line...

 

so just put some JAV film in the background and enjoy the ride

Honestly, I can't stop laughing when my Sim's mouth is full of dick and she's still high pitched screaming. So yeah, there are pros and cons, but this is the greatest mod and animations ever. 

 

Thank you to all the creators. My game wouldn't be the same without you.

Tbh I don't have a problem with the voices. In some weird way I feel like it's more immersive because we all know that the sims speak "simlish". I think I would find it weird if they all of a sudden spoke in a real language, such as English, only to revert back to simlish when they're doing vanilla interactions. That being said, however, I actually preferred the woohoo voices back in Sims 3 because the girls there sounded more like they're enjoying some rough sex lol (more screaming, gasping, panting, etc.). I kind of understand why people think in Sims 4 they almost sound like they're just talking. Unfortunately the animators are working with whatever voice files are available to them so it's not like they can do much about that (unless a voice actor/actress somewhere out there wants to record some simlish voices for WW lol)

Maybe it would help if those animators listed which sounds they used in which animations, so other animators can know those are good ones to choose from? We could even take recordings from them and cut them into clips to start a library of [sound name] ---> [audio of the clip]

I wonder if I'm the only one who thinks that they don't even sound like they are talking normally. My sims always sound so angry. So I usually have the voices on low. If they could add custom voices to the game that'd be fantastic!

I don't mind most of them but some of YRSA's animations have the annoyed sound clips on the sims and i'm like ?? why does it sound like my sim is annoyed with getting her ass pounded by two guys at the same time? Like she groans and their animations are so good I wish it was more gasping and moaning loudly

The only sound I cannot handle is the burp/barf one.  A super hot animation will start playing and then it sounds like the guy is having issues with lunch and gonna vomit.  I'm not gonna judge here..but NOT my fetish lol.    Then there are the chatty cathy animations. The sims will be pounding away madly and all the while discussing their day, the weather, whatever at high speed non-stop. 

 

When it comes to dialog during sex: less is more.

I made a tool where you can edit sound events and add new sounds from MP3 files, however it requires a lot of work which is probably why not many animators have used it, a single voice event can have more than 30 sound recordings for age, gender, voice type and variations.

Motherlode? Their animations are some of my top faves. Like top three and yet, while the guy is eating out the girl, suddenly he burps and I’m like... come on. Really.

Totally agree with that, adding a burp to WW animations ruins it for me. Some are fine, some fit their sound files nicely to whats going on, some however... I have ended up removing entirely. Usually its a novice animator and its a 3-4 second loop for animation with a 3-4 second loop for what sounds like the sim talking in the mirror. To me those are the most annoying.

This. I really like the sounds and depending on the animator I think they are very well done and fits perfectly to the game (duh, afterall they from the game) Maybe its because I use sex as a feature of the game. I mean... my sims only have sex in context. I even block them from having sex in public spaces and lots. So for me its like a feature of the original game and not something that was added with any other purpose.
