Does anyone else kinda hate the sims' voices during Wicked Whims animations?

I sometimes mute sims voices during sex. I made some mp4 with "sex asmr" (found it on youtube) and I play it in background, lol. Some mp4 are off with the animations, but at least I can hear sex sounds, lol.  I tried to make sounds with every animation ( for the sound to be exactly in the same time as the animation work) but it takes too much time.

I've seen this done poorly by some creators and done very, very well by others, so I can't generalize. Where it seems most problematic is when the animation in question takes a long time, iterating the same loop over and over.

Sorry for bump this old topic, but this subject was never taken seriously, almost all animations are brilliant, but the "dirty talk" is extremely annoying and tottaly breaks the immersion.

I know this game genre is comedy, but it doesn't need to go into full comedy on WickedWhims as well. Even on a busy 69 they don't shut up.

It would be perfect an option to silence WickedWhims' dirty (and dumb) talk.

A very old thread. Yes, some of the sim voices during sex are just lame. What's really lame is that the animator used a voice and didn't even lip sync, they just look like they're chewing with their mouth open.

Someone once put slapping sounds as they bang. That's okay, legit and a good feature.

I laugh so hard with the voices used. The OO~Oooo~ooo!!! from the females has such a WRONG HOLE! WRONG HOLE! vibe.

Hahha, I totally agree with that. Most of the time the voices just kill immersion in the game

This totally depends on animators, even if they have to use only available EA sounds. Personally I never release an animation until I like how it sounds and it can take a whole day just to build a good soundstage.

Definitely depends on the sounds used in the animations. I have some that have these little moans and kissy noises (which I love) and then I have ones that straight up use the "sim freaking out because of fire" audio.

Some animations sounds terrible or inappropriate. It may also be that you want to turn off the volume so ongoing foolish voices do not spoil it. However, there is also a very exciting sounds complementing a fine animation even more. I love immersiveness and thus against side porn sounds.

I am aware of how hard animators put efforts on their animations sound ,but most of them just put default sounds as it requires lot of work just as you mentioned and I dont blame them. I just hate EA sounds it is so bad that it ruins the atmosphere the sims create.

Speaking about creating a good soundstage I meant exactly default sounds as they are commonly used :)

I know what you mean. I like the generic woohoo sounds sims make when woohooing and I wish those sounds would be used more in sex animations. I've only seen a small handful of animations that use the actual woohoo voice effects in their animations.

I am usually playing with sound off, but given the limited size of the sound library provided by EA, I think animators have done a great job in sifting through the library to come away with appropriate sound effects. I'm a Maxis-match person, though, and that includes audio. If there was a way to add real sex audio to animations, to me, that would feel anachronistic and take me out of it. Especially if the quality of the audio is suspect to begin with; nothing as unsexy as room tone captured by an on-camera mic in an amateur porn.
