kingdave19 Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 The crushed breast issue has something to do with CBBE and BodySlide specifically' date=' in combination with TBBP compatible skeletons. I'm not sure if it just happens with stock CBBE or not, as I had immediately used BodySlide after installing it. It definitely does NOT happen with UNPB, which is what I'm using now (with XPMS). [/quote'] i asked skulltyrant for help and he gave me this link: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/16712 where u can find TBBP Basic Pack 5 Realistic Ragdolls concerning the breasts, it is working fine but the bottom of dead bodies still looks like shit xD and i can't move corpses. they are like taped on the ground. however, i know the butt issue is also bodyslide related since it didn't appear before i used it. sooo for me the solution at the moment is fine but i wouldn't dislike improvement

oglee Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 How does one go about changing the idle animation...it drives me insane.
Jerbsinator Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 I really like XP32's skeleton but for some reason it makes the breasts stick up into the air too much and it just looks bad. I want to lower them a bit but I have no idea how to do that. Is this doable in nifscope or does it have to be done in a 3d editor?

Locate you female skeleton Open it in nifskope' date=' and locate these 2 breast nodes NPC L PreBreast NPC R PreBreast Then right click either, hover over Transform, scroll down to Edit and click. Where it says "Scale" 1.0000 being default size, anything higher increases the breast size, any lower decreases it. Don't forget to do it to both nodes, not just one, then once done save and minimise nifskope. (incase you don't like the size) run Skyrim and see if it suites you. Wouldn't advise going over scale 2.0000 because you get this at 3.0000

The issue is that the breasts point too high up with this skeleton, forcing me to use a older not as good skeleton that doesn't have the pushed up breasts issue. I even tried editing the translation, the bones moved in nifscope but doesn't apply in game, I have no idea why that would happen.
jackbite69 Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 How does one go about changing the idle animation...it drives me insane. Go into the option menu & find the "mt_idle.hkx" Then copy & Paste it in your Meshes/actors/Character/animation/Female Folder.
Useless Failure Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Hmmm.... got a screenshot of your character? The only skeleton I'm using is supplied by skulltyrant, have you tried switching skeletons at all?
Skull Tyrant Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 all i can say is contact XP32 about the breast issue hopefully hell be able to help

[/quote'] Yes I am currently using a Skulltyrant skeleton because it doesn't have the elevated breasts. Problem is any character that doesnt have max weight the breasts are sunk in. It's fine for my character cause she is at max but its annoying seeing NPCs with their chest half caved in. What skeleton are you using? There is A LOT of skeletons there and a lot to choose from. I forget which one I'm even using.

skyrimer Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Hi, can anyone help? I've done everything exactly as the newbie guide says in the first page, but when I generate the FNIS all the characters get completely static, no animations at all. I've done the FNIS spell thing, chose among o1 and o2, but it doesn't help at all, what can I do?
ekwood Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Edit: Fixed! The secret was I had PCEA and did not know it! PCEA, also known as custom race exclusive animations, was making my character, a vanilla Dunmer, use animations from a separate folder. PCEA was a mod intended to let the player use special animations and have everyone else use vanilla animations. Unfortunately the only way to do that is with a custom race of some sort. I figured it out by dropping the TBBP animations in the PCEA folder and voila, animations are back and working better than ever. Wing and a prayer of a question here: I dropped TBBP into place and tried firing the game up (can't remember if I even bothered with fnis at this point or not) and all was well. I was amazed that the animations seemed to be in place and working as far as the walk and idle animations are concerned. The bouncy physics however were not in effect. I figured ok, I haven't put in a compatible body yet so I went looking and tried one that claimed to be for tbbp. It broke it. 100% vanilla animations all around. No physics, no idle, no modded animations at all. I tried again with different bodies and and ran fnis in a few different sequences and still was unable to even get back to where I started. Now, when I try fiddling with the o1-o10 animation in the fnis idle selector (which wasn't necessary to see results the very first time, I didn't even know about it yet) My character just stands there waving with different random objects stapled to her hand e.g. a bucket. There is a whole lot I'm leaving out but I thought I'd outline my problem to see if anyone has any interest or inkling as to what is wrong with my situation. If so, I'd appreciate it and try to get more specific if necessary.

MrBojingo Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Anyone here very knowledgeable with Nifskope? I seem to have run into a little problem. Today i decided to try my hand at armor clipping and through alot of trial and error, i finally got the hang of it, a little. So i decided to take a modded armor set and clip it a bit. I've had a little trial and error with the chest piece, but i know what my problems are. However, with the boots and gloves, i'm stumped. When i clip off parts of the boots and gloves, the skin becomes invisible. I've noticed that when there's a 'body model' that an armor piece is equipped on, the body part wont be invisible in game. However, if there's no body model in nifskope, then that part of the body will be invisible in game. So i have a body model on the chest piece, but no body models for the gloves and boots. Is there a way to add in the body model so it wont be invisible in game?
ekwood Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 at least you can use the FNIS animations i get an immediate CTD when ever i try to even select them. Yea, true enough. It did help cheer me up when I turned whiterun into a giant dance party as I fiddled with the FNIS spell tool.
smurf Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 ... Is there a way to add in the body model so it wont be invisible in game? not sure you should be asking that completely unrelated question in this thread but... Most likely the author of the armor you are editing removed the parts of the body model which are covered by the boots/gloves. If you want these parts to be included you will first have to download the nude version of the body type that the armor is made for. Then copy over the (clipped?) armor pieces into the nude body nif file with nifskope and save them as your edited armor. Quite a tedious process and a lot can go wrong and make your model explode, but eventually it will work.
MrBojingo Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 ya.. my mind already exploded while reading that. I guess i need to read it slowly. lol. And i think the file is for CBBE.
jyj9410 Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 when i choose o1 its not working please help:(
Mistary Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Ok when I use the CB++ body slider in the CB++ folder under Caliente Tools I see the CB++ Bodies Group Filter and then CB++ Body TBBP under Sliderset but when I click on preview small and large there is no box that shows the body. I installed all the mods and moved them to the specified folders http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=11463 following the green texted instructions. I upgraded the CB++ Body to v0.9.3 When using the slider from the actual Caliente Tools-Body Slider folder the small-large boxes show. Do I need to do something with the screenshots folder in the CB++ Body v0.9.3 rar download?
Relevant Halo Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Also have the crushed breast issue with dead actors. Have tried the xp skeleton and the patch; nothing works.
canderes Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 I have a theory for the crushed breasts. I remember the first time I made an animation with Cherry Hotaling's skeleton there was a mismatch between the number of bones in the animation and the skeleton. The breasts were staying up in the air even during the animation. After I took it back to max again and made sure the bone mapping was correct to the new skeleton I rexported and the animation worked fine, so I wonder if there's a death animation or placeholder that needs to have those extra bones added for the animation otherwise it's like the bones have no data to read from. Negative it's something else.
