I've also noticed that stagger can break DD or ZAP hands offsets - meaning after the stagger the arms just switch to normal positions instead of the "bound hands" offsets, and it can only be fixed by re-equipping the DD or ZAP item (or reloading). Don't know if it's a problem with Barefoot Realism or with stagger in general.

That said, the staggering itself is one of the main things I like about this mod - not the visual part, but the fact that it makes going barefoot harder. (I actually found this mod when I was looking for something that makes the character stumble and fall down while barefoot, similar to being drunk in Realistic Needs and Diseases)

____

On a different topic - I've opened my savegame with Save Cleaner and noticed that it has as much as 26 active instances of PBFTerrainDetectionQuestScript and 13 instances of PlayerBarefootQuestScript, and my character is not even barefoot at the moment (and hasn't been for any extended amount of time in this game).

Is that normal? Have the latest version of the mod.

Added: Note that reloading the savegame and saving again apparently fixed it, and the displayed Active Scripts count lowered dramatically.

Still, it seems the case would be that Barefoot Realism spawns a new script instance any time footwear is changed? (I've been switching between heavy steel boots and casual footwear several times)

The Stagger even breaks you out of furniture / locked or not and interrupts Sexlab Sex Scenes.

An easy fix for this would be to disable stagger when the player is stationary, no matter the pain,...

I think I can suggest a fix for the animation issues caused by staggering, at least as far as Barefoot Realism is concerned...

Instead of running a stagger event, apply a magic effect to the player that will reduce movement speed and lasts 1 second. Perhaps make it an MCM option, for those who would prefer the stagger animation...

And as long as we're talking about options, it would be nice to be able to override current feet roughness in MCM, to give some barefoot walking experience to characters that are supposed to have it. Some preset options like "Princess (0.0) / Commoner (0.25) / Beggar (0.5) /  Savage (0.75)".

In the meantime, you can use the console - "set FeetRoughness to x", where x is how rough your feet should be (on a scale of 0 to 1).

I didn't know those effects were even implemented in the mod.  But then again, I've only recently started using it, after having already traveled halfway around Skyrim with my barefoot sorceress.  I'm assuming healing powers would help with the former, but I'm guessing fire powers don't do much about the latter?

I don't know if Restoration has any effect on Barefoot Realism debuffs, it's a question to the mod author (neat idea, though).

And fire magic has no effect in Frostfall - as explained in the mod, because you'd just end up getting a burn instead of warming up - but it has its own set of spells for countering weather exposure. You can use your Destruction skill to light campfires, though.

Oh, I forgot about that mod.  I thought you were referring to another debuff for this one.

I have discovered another issue with this mod though.  It's a good thing I have the Showers in Inns mod, because yesterday I tried using the rivers around Morthal to wash up, but got a message saying I wasn't near any water sources.  Not near any?!  I'm standing right in one!

Just a wild guess - do you have the mod "iNeed" by chance?

It also doesn't allow you to drink from the sea or Morthal swamps, because e-eeww.

I wonder if it also interferes with other mods that detect water sources... or if Barefoot Realsm by default also considers those swamps too dirty.

Tell me, which is better to use the female body replacer and what textures of the skin, what would have more sexy feet?
I try to pick up a combination, nothing good happened ...

Well, UNP does a good job on the toes, but not much detail on the soles.  I personally use CBBE; which does much better in regards to sole detail and has decent enough toes.  On an unrelated note, I also like the CBBE boobs better.

From what I can tell I'm getting the same kind of bug (though I haven't tried using the debug, I just ran around for a bit and didn't see any accumulation of dirt no matter how long I ran around). I'm not sure what to say about that one, other than it seems to be Skyrim acting like Skyrim.. it could be because the toe nails are separat from the foot mesh (which I think is also true of the high heel foot meshes you mentioned on the Nexus) and the mod or whatever is taking issue with that, but that's only a guess.. OR maybe the mod for whatever reason takes issue with the foot mesh being altered in any way from its default shape, however that's also a guess.

I gave editing Halo's newest version a go since the nail and foot mesh are connected (no overlay issues)

All I did for now is curve and round the big toe a bit.. I didn't mean to make it longer..  tho, it's to my taste. I hated that big, flat looking nail.

I also flattened the arch on the right side of the foot.

I was able to use mesh rigger to (in a sense) convert Halofarms newest foot meshes with the merged toe nails to the shape edits that I made. However trying to get them to work in Body Slide has proved fruitless so far (they take on a spiky or otherwise "jacked up" appearance when I go to generate the mesh). If you can figure out how to get them to work in Body Slide without messing up then, there you go. Otherwise you should be able to copy one of the meshes (so that you have two meshes) rename one mesh femalefeet_0 and the other one femalefeet_1 and they should work (though I haven't tested this).

At the very least it would be interesting to see if they work in game at all. In the mean time, I'm going to try to see if I can get them to NOT fuck up in Body Slide..

Dropped em' into "Data\CalienteTools\BodySlide\ShapeData\Unified UNP" folder. Re-built them with bodyslide. And Ta-Da!
