Scripting Clusterfuck

My game is pretty much an experiment as to how many mods with or without scripts I can fit into a game and still have it load and be (at least somewhat) playable. Even though I've spent years modding skyrim, I've never touched applications like wyrebash, mod organizer, TESVEDIT, et cetera. So, my game has been playable for a while, but recently I've been adding a lot of mods that seem to be script heavy. My rig is powerful and can take a lot, but my game is slowing down to a chug at certain moments and after a long amount of playtime, the fps drop is pretty much constant. Today I'm posting this to see if anyone here who knows more about scripting and what goes on internally with a lot of these mods happens across this post and decides to take a look at my debug log. 

 

My main issue is that over time (not even a long amount of time) my game's framerate slows down dramatically to maybe 15 fps. I've decided this is due to scripting errors or perhaps just too many scripts running, but I don't know. Below I will post the debug log of a few hours of gameplay and it would be greatly appreciated if anyone could take a look at it and let me know if they see any glaring issues.

To me, sounds like too many "heavy" scripts? Could be. Or a conflict between mods. Happens sometimes too.
Check the amount of active scripts in your save with:

or

Use "Merge Plugins" to merge all your armor mods, I don't see why would you not do that...

I suspect BreakUndies and associated Esp are the cause.
Your log is full of errors from this.

 

Also, many "missing file" errors.
Like this: Can not open store for class "BU_ArmorManager", missing file?

 

Missing File = Either incomplete installation - or even possible, outdated mod version, or crap mod.

 

PS

Merging reduces the number of esp.
But also has disadvantages and reduces your log errors and FPS drop not really.

As someone said, your logs are absolutely being destroyed by whatever mod adds the scripts BU_ENFWitness.pcs and BU_NPCScript.pcs.  I'm going to assume it might be Break Undies Plus in your load order.

 

That being said, even if that mod has the most errors in your logs, it doesn't mean that mod is "the problem".  Your logs also have stack dumps which have a tendency to break scripted mods all over the place (and might have broken that mod).  Stack dumps are primarily caused by too many scripted mods trying to do too many things at once for the engine, causing a bottleneck.  When the traffic jam gets too large, Skyrim "dumps" all of the script information out, which will easily break running mods as scripts they expected to run may never finish or lose data.  Those broken scripts can then be stuck in your save game forever, meaning once a save game has starting having problems it often is better to simply start a new one if you want a stable game long-term.

 

Unfortunately, the fact you have a powerful rig doesn't mean much for Oldrim.  The game's script engine is not capable of using your computer's extra power.  If you try to run too many scripted mods in one game, or run badly programmed mods at all, you risk causing stack dumps and script lag which *will* cause other mods to fail.  Basically, the answer to the problem is simply to run less scripted mods in one load order.
