  4. This is only started recently but when I used Jaxonz Positioner to scale up a pillory, my FPS started going through the roof. Even if I just started the save or am doing nothing else for a while after. Thought it was just the pillory but its actually any object that gets scaled up. I haved moved & rotated objects & even placed brand new ones before without issue but scaling an object up seems to just disable my ENBs FPS limiter. Any ideas how to fix this or a recommendation on an object scaling/moving mod that doesn't break my game?
  5. FPS goes down from 144 to between 5 and 15 and stays there when either there are multiple actors with SMP-enabled clothing that are in a SexLab scene or randomly after a period of time. Restarting the game fixes the issue until one of the causing factors happens again. Opening any kind of menu or the console temporarily fixes the issue until I close that menu or the console. I've tried locking the game to 60 FPS, thinking that the problem may be caused by the high FPS but I ran into the same problem. I've tried both (not at the same time) the ini edit fMaxTime=0.0069 and the Havok Fix mod for the FPS, thinking that maybe one would be better over the other but I get the lag with either one. I've also noticed that if I encounter multiple naked actors (dead or alive), after spending some time in-game, certain body parts start stretching all over the place at very high speeds. Again, I was able to reproduce this at both 144 and 60 FPS so that is not the cause. Mod list and loadorder: modlist.txt loadorder.txt On another note, but maybe somewhat related, I am using Mannequins Revamped AB and whenever I go into a cell with a lot of mannequins I get the same FPS drop.
  6. Hi everyone! I hope someone can help me a bit, seeing there is a very active group of savvy people here . It seems my problem is a bit odd, physics are going crazy sometimes, especially cloth physics, which is pretty usual as I have discovered. the thing is that it only happens when my fps go under 50, between 41 and 48 to be more especific, and it is specially bad at 45 fps exactly. Now all kind of fixes and solutions that I have found so far are supposed to help me when physics go crazy above 60 fps, and that's the funniest thing, when my fps go to even 100+ fps everything works just fine, so all this thing have me very puzzled. Is there anything that I'm missing? If anyone have any suggestions I'm all ears.

Help my modded Skyrim (newest version) is running at like 20fps with huge frame dips i understand that modded skyrim is unoptimized and demanding but i would like to reach a stable 30fps atleast. My gpu is being used about 50% and my cpu around 60% and my vram isn't maxing out either so i dont understand why it is running so poorly... Here is a video with fps, cpu+gpu usage, vram+ram usage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUHwTiXJcvY&feature=youtu.be Some mods and settings i have: SSEengine fixes, TAA, ugrids=5, large refgridsize=13, imingrasssize=60, bethINI ultra with no vsync, 4k-2k textures, 2k shadows, custom optimized enb + amd cas reshade, rustic weathers, unbelivable grass 2 redux, smim, high poly project, hdt physics, unpb, skysight, fair skin, 3d trees, rw2, sselodgen, etc. (edit: i forgot i use skse 2017, mo2, loot to fix the load order + some manually, i use project optimization, tkdodge, elfx+ele, lanterns of skyrim 2, papyrus, uiextensions,skyui, animation mods + fnis. Game is located in g: drive (G:\SteamLibraryG\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition) and a lot of free space. (I can post modlist if needed!) PC specs: 1080p/1920x1080 144hz monitor I have an rtx 2060 super overclocked at 133% powerlimit, +70mhz core, +700mhz memory and an i7-4770k constantly running at 5ghz (i know it's old) with 16gb 2000mhz ram the game is being played on a samsung evo ssd. (Driver: 445.87 + newest enb binary, ultra performance windows + maximum performance in nvidia settings) My main suspicion is the old cpu is bottlenecking my gpu but if you know some performance tweaks for skyrim se or what the problem is please comment.
  8. Hey guys! I bought the "KFA2 RTX 2070 Super EX (1-Click OC)" and I am VERY unpleased with the performance espacially compared to other people who have the same specs! I am playing Skyrim SE and Fallout 4 with mods, but nothing big only 2k textures and a performance friendly ENB, I have no godrays, shadows on low and ONLY 1080p and I still get only 35-45fps (its capped to 60 by the ENB). I read about other people with 4k textures and monster ENBs on 1440p who get 140fps if uncapped. What am I doing wrong? Ryzen 7 3700x, 16GB DDR4, SSD
  9. Can someone please tell me what the heck i'm doing wrong? Long story short, I'm trying to mod oldrim on my new rig. The only problem is that the game still runs like potato despite my killer specs. The game jumps between 30 to 60FPS while both modded and un-modded with FPS uncapped. - Specs GTX 1080TI SLI i7 7800X (6 core, Overclocked 4.4Ghz) 64GB DDR4 3000MHZ On checking my CPU and GPU usage each GPU is only performing at at 35% usage and my CPU is at 25% usage. I have no idea why my hardware isn't pushing harder. 1 1080Ti alone should smash this game. skyrim.ini skyrimprefs.ini Load Order enbseries.ini enblocal.ini
  10. My game is pretty much an experiment as to how many mods with or without scripts I can fit into a game and still have it load and be (at least somewhat) playable. Even though I've spent years modding skyrim, I've never touched applications like wyrebash, mod organizer, TESVEDIT, et cetera. So, my game has been playable for a while, but recently I've been adding a lot of mods that seem to be script heavy. My rig is powerful and can take a lot, but my game is slowing down to a chug at certain moments and after a long amount of playtime, the fps drop is pretty much constant. Today I'm posting this to see if anyone here who knows more about scripting and what goes on internally with a lot of these mods happens across this post and decides to take a look at my debug log. My main issue is that over time (not even a long amount of time) my game's framerate slows down dramatically to maybe 15 fps. I've decided this is due to scripting errors or perhaps just too many scripts running, but I don't know. Below I will post the debug log of a few hours of gameplay and it would be greatly appreciated if anyone could take a look at it and let me know if they see any glaring issues. First off let me say that this forum is such a great resource and I am so appreciative of all the help that I receive from everyone here as I'm not the most mod savvy aside from being able to google things lol. Ok, now that that's out of the way. So I'm finally starting my game (yay), but I'm getting terrible fps spikes and then it will go back to normal, spike, back to normal for a while etc (you get the picture). I downloaded and installed the fps stutter fix, bethini tweaker thing, skse engine fixes, etc. but nothing seems to stick as far as fixing the problem. I've disabled texture mods, lowered settings as far as shadows etc. but nothing. I'm not quite sure what to do at this point. It's taken me forrrrrrever to get to this point after literally months of modding and I just want to actually play the game. Any help would be very very much appreciated. Thanks!
  12. I went to bed last night with no issues with Fallout 4, I woke up today with a stuttering/trailing low framerate on my 50" 4K 60hz TV. I've tried a few things so far. 1. Made sure Fallout4prefs.ini had iPresetInterval=0. It was at 1, but changing it to 0 made the fps skyrocket to the hundreds, but the stutter was still there. 2. Limited fps to 60, but the stutter was still there. 3. Disabled VSync with no improvement. 4. Enabled VSync with no improvement. 5. Scoured Google looking for assistance, but didn't see anything other than what I had already tried. 6. Tried playing other games to be sure it was an issue confined to Fallout 4, it was. I'm out of ideas, I just want the game to go back to the way it was before, liquid smooth 60 fps @ 1080P. 😿 Thanks.

Hi, I tried two different perspective/camera mod (Joy of perspective & Emhanced Camera) and I found that both of the mods couldn't fix the issue where my character's 1st person view is looking the other way from their partner in the middle of the animation. Do you guys have a fix for this? Thanks.

    FPS Counter [FONV]

    Version v.1


    ---------------- Short description ---------------- A simple-but-fully-configurable in-game FPS counter, to check the framerate, mainly for statistic and debug purposes. Or to make fun of your friends with bad rigs, showing them how high your FPS counter can go. This counter tracks down the time a frame leasts inside an effect, so it's strictly related to script execution and nothing about graphic. However, since graphic and scripts are related on their owns, you should see similar values to those you could see (for example) with Fraps. ------------ MCM Options ------------ - Enable FPS Counter: pretty explanatory... it allows to enable/disable the mod. The first time you load the mod it's disabled by default. - FPS Counter Position: clicking on this option, you will be kicked out from MCM and you will be able to decide the hud position. All the controls are written on the screen once you select this option, so don't worry to remember them, however the keys are: arrows or the control movements(WASD) move the hud, speed up the hud movement keeping Run pressed (SHIFT), change the font using Activate / Reload (E/R), enable / disable the infos on the screen using Grab (Z), confirm with Jump (SPACE) or Pipboy (TAB), reset to default pressing Auto-Run (Num Lock). - Mode: you can choose between FPS (frames per second) or MS (milliseconds, the time every frame leasts) - Refresh time: this parameter could be controversial, so please be careful to its interpretation. If you are unsure, just keep it very low (0.05-0.1), as per default. I introduced it only to catch spikes and understand their intervals. The way the mod works is grabbing EVERY frame time and choose the smallest value among the <Refresh Time> interval. This means that if you set the max value (2 seconds) you could notice that the FPS value drastically drops down. THIS DOESN'T MEAN YOUR FPS IS THAT LOW, this means that during the interval of 2 sec. you had at least one frame with that low framerate (= a "spike"). - Threshold: under this FPS value, the counter will become red. It's just a way to catch the low values more easily. ------------- Requirements ------------- - NVSE 4.6+ (note: in date 12/05/2015 it is the Beta version on Silverlock) >>>> It wouldn't be bad installing the most recent one, you can find it on hlp's thread on Beth forum (note: in date 12/05/2015, it is the link to v5.0 beta 1 from his Dropbox). - UIO - MCM Personal note about requirements: if, in general, you feel you dont' want to install requirements like the ones stated above, for whatever reason you could have ("they're not safe!", "my computer's old and slow!", "once my cousin installed it and it broke his level 50!", <insert here some other unfounded excuse>), if you love modding then you should really start to think about it seriously. Requirements like these are top-notch modding, made by professional modders, created to break the barriers of common modding, introducing new wonderful features. And this is the same for every other extension you can find around, like JIP or Lutana. In my opinion, they should be considered on the same level of VANILLA, when people make a NV installation. ----------- Installation ----------- Unpack everything inside your Data folder. To uninstall, remove those few files and make a clean save.   17. Update: I'm putting this at the top to let any new viewers know what I'm narrowing down my problem to be. I get constant GPU spikes, causing my FPS to go up and down with my GPU. My VRAM is unusually high, where SPM reports it to be over 4GB most of the time, despite the 4GB limit on VRAM that DirectX9 has. Even when taking off my ENB, my GPU usage goes to even lower numbers (10-20%, despite the fact that if my GPU usage was higher I would be getting higher frames. This may be an indication that my VRAM is a bottleneck for my GPU, but I shouldn't be using up to 4GB of VRAM anyways so this confuses me. To top it off, my particular model of laptop has a battery drain issue, where it tries to take in more power than my PSU can supply me with, which may also contribute to stuttering. I am still conducting tests, although anyone with knowledge of these issues or knowledge about how to help with this using tools such as Nvidia Inspector, MSI Afterburner, and Intel XTU is encouraged to shed some light on these issues. I would be extremely appreciative. Second Update: My VRAM limit issues have been resolved. I am getting less stuttering, but my GPU still has very low usage, giving me low FPS. Additionally, if anyone has a DSR mesh pack for Lost Longswords or knows how to fix an issue where the nocked arrow in first person moves up and down along the bow shaft when looking up and down (while using Archery Gameplay Overhaul), please let me know. ^This is the TLDR for all four posts I have done; if you do not want to read everything, please, at least read this. Thank you to all that have helped so far. This will be a fairly detailed post, and I'll be putting a lot of information related to my ini files and my setup in spoiler blocks down below. I don't expect any of you to read all of it, but to any who were generous enough to give me their time in doing so, I am so so grateful to you. Anyways, a bit of info: I've been searching for mods, checking compatibility, updates, whether mods are dangerous or not and so-on so-on for a massively long amount of time now and I've finally got in game after doing so. Hip-hip-hooray. The game looks beautiful, most (see note down below) of my mods are working perfectly so far, and I'm happy. But, as soon as I step out of the starting dungeon in Alternate Start, I begin getting some massive lag. In outdoor environments, I usually get a decent 40 frames, which is honestly enough for me. Or, it would be, if it was stable. Lag spikes are pretty frequent and whenever a decent sized battle breaks out, the game gets choppy as all hell. In the alternate start dungeon, I got around 50-60 fps, whereas in Whiterun I get a pretty stable 25fps which occasional lag spikes. Dragonsreach gave me a mixture of 20-40. I've made the recommended ini tweaks and read about what they do, I have some software running to help with stability, I've stayed pretty clear of dangerous mods (although do have a few intensive ones), and I'm honestly not sure what to do now. I'm not the most advanced user by any means in these areas, but I have tried to search far and wide for what might help. I'd like to preserve the look and feel of my game while also focusing on the experience it can give me while playing (meaning graphics, gameplay mechanics, much-needed extra enemies, overhauls, quest mods, etc), and I've already taken about 20 mods out of my game, so I would prefer not to trim it further if I can manage that. From the more experienced, advanced users, I wanted to ask you this: based on my hardware, software, setup, load order, ini files, anything related to my game, is there anything I can do to increase my framerate and stability? If removing mods is my only choice, given my hardware, what mods would give me the biggest increase in stability and performance were I to remove them?   18. Greeting! I have come to seek aid, this problem is related to this, but I am unsure how to proceed. I recently switched from CBBE to UUNP and found out that UUNP only uses HDT and nothing else, after starting a new game, I found extreme lag (4-8 fps) inside dungeon alike to draugr dungeons, abandoned prisons and such. After searching google for answers, which is super handy! I messed around with a few .ini option, I found in this thread. This did absolutely nothing, so I went back and searched, finding the problem with HDT. Now I only have pretty much "All-in-One HDT Animated Pussy" installed for body mods (and a shitton other, but unused) I read that it is problem with the belly, is there a way that I can resolve this easily? The version for HDT physics is the latest version (14.28)

Hello guys, so I'm having a issue with my game since reinstalled it. 1 week ago i did my first install.My game was running super smooth with a permanent 60 fps using only enboost, vivid all in one performance, and bilago's fallout 4 tweaker to optimize my ini's to my taste. Then I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it with (enboost, vivid, bilago's) but now my fps doesnt go higher than 40... So my question is what ini setting make a huge difference in fps that I might have stupidly forgot to set correctly or what could make my game perform 20 fps under what it used to be one week ago.   20. After not playing Oblivion for some time, I went in to check out some stuff I downloaded for it & immediately noticed the FPS kept staying at 43FPS. I havent touched anything that could mess with it in ages but after checkin Oblivion's & OSR's ini, they weren't affecting it when I changed their values to test what was wrong. But changing the the FPS cap in ENBoost's ingame menu to anything higher than 64 (the cap was 62 originally) would push the FPS back up to 64. Testing other values like over 70-110 would keep the FPS at 64 but pushing it to 144 would push it over 100 but still lower than what the actual cap value is. Why is ENBoost enforcing incorrect FPS cap values & how do I fix it or give FPS control to something else like OSR?

    Released by request. This mod removes all grass from underwater landscapes. This should result in a slight (or possibly large for some) increase in performance when near water. Unless you're roleplaying a scuba diver, you're unlikely to ever actually see all of the seaweed in this game anyway. The esp consists of only 3 edits and is an extremely lightweight mod overall. It should conflict with nothing and load order should not matter. No DLC is required as none of them added new underwater landscapes. DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS FOR GETTING THE EFFECTS OF THIS MOD WITHOUT USE OF THE ESP: In my honest opinion, a mod of this simplicity does not constitute a slot in your load order. Here I will give instructions on how to merge the effects of this mod into an esp of your choice using Tes5edit. This will be a very simple process and require limited to no experience. I recommend using your merged patch, however most people do not seem to use a merged patch, so another good choice would be a custom armor mod, or pretty much anything that you will not be removing from your load order and will not be receiving updates, or else you'll have to repeat this after every update. (definitely don't use your bashed patch for this) 1. Install the mod and drag the esp all the way to the top of your load order. 2. Open this mod as well any mod you wish to use to forward the data into. I will stress again that this is best done with either a personal tweak mod you may have, or a mod that is finished and will not be receiving updates anytime soon. I personally use my merged patch. 3. After Tes5edit has finished loading, click the plus box next to Seaweed Destroyer.esp, then the plus box under "Landscape Textures". You should see 3 entries: LRiverBottom01, LRiverMud01, and LCoastOceanFloor01. Hold the Ctrl button and click on all three so that they're all selected, then right click on them and select "copy as override into". It will ask you if you're sure, just click yes. 4. A window will open asking you to select which mod you wish to copy the data into. Tick the box next to the mod you wish to merge this into and hit OK. Close Tes5edit and make sure the mod you added the data to is checked when prompted to save. 5. Go ahead and uninstall my mod, as you will not need it anymore, start the game and enjoy. Notes: It's actually surprising how much of an impact this can have on certain set ups. Especially if you're already pushing your game to the limits with a lot of other mods and texture packs on an older machine. I originally uploaded this to the Nexus, but I'm preparing to release some of my "real" mods, and I much prefer the community here at LL. Hopefully this will enhance someone's game in some way.
  22. So ive been trying to solve this by myself for a while but i still cannot wrap my head around it. So i use alot of mods(modlist below) and majority of the game is fine 60fps no lagging nothing. Some areas for example, solitude and whiterun where i look at the whole city cell in my view, my fps drops to about 30-40. BUT, my videocard at this certain time and point is clocked up only to about 1320mhz and it refuses to go into boost clock until i start spamming conjuration spells or do something else thats relatively graphically intense. I would like to know how to solve this problem, i feel like my cpu might be the bottleneck. Specs: Intel i5-6400 2.7ghz normal. Boost: 3,3ghz Videocard as mentioned above: GTX 1050ti OC edition(clocks up to 1825mhz on full load) 8GB of ram. All the latest drivers and Win10. Modlist in attachment. Would really appreciate some advice on why the videocard is behaving like it does and do i have to simply remove Jk's and deal with it. EDIT: Locking videocard's clock to boost values doesnt help with fps. LOADORDER.txt
  23. So my Skyrim has been running fine until recently and I don't know why exactly its stopped working well. I've tried many fps bossting mods and while some helped they didn't fix my problem indoors. I can get 60 fps or so outdoors with ultra settings and the mods I have occasionally it can drop to about 40-50 fps but not that big of a problem, but when i go indoors it will be around 30-40 fps to begin with then after a little bit (like less than a minute if I move) it'll drop down to 10-20 fps and this is frames and not motion stutted since this is what FRAPS is telling me.   25. title is pretty clear. I honestly have run out of ideas, the game used to run just fine but now if I play more than 1 minute the framerate drops to 1-2 FPS. The strangest part is the FPS is the same if I am on low or ultra settings, and my computer is as cool as a cucumber the whole time, so it's not a hardware issue. Has anyone had this problem before? I've tried everything I can think of, reinstalling, new games, disabling mods, etc. Thanks in advance for any help. Solved: Too many animations. Disabled some animations and framerate returned to normal.
