If you would like to really kick ass I suggest trying to make high cut leotard kind of armor and above the knee boots. Slave's rags really needed to be made this way, could be nice to have equivalent of it for all sets of armor. One guy tried to mod paladin's armor, but failed to make it sexier.

 

Truth to be told Kenshi outfits hardly possible to make sexy and female mesh poorly made and badly rigged. Male mesh have some bad anatomy too (for instance both have incorrect, distorted skull) but at least it rigged better. Female mesh needs replacement really. Best would be to port one of the famous female mods made for Skyrim. But I doubt this will ever happen.

There is also some .dds files that I've modified for myself from original and modded textures (by TalasTelasero and Bsearcy) but nothing significant.

One of my issues is that I wanted to mod the existing armors, but the blender export script can't pull the weighted mesh.(And im not going to manually weight them again)

I am gonna gush a little I had not even heard of this game till this year when The viking god Robbaz King of Seden played it. Looked like a terribly fun game so I bought it and I am not disappointed but gods the characters remind me of Oblivion ( Just to clarify Oblivion is my literal favorite but geez took year to fix the ugly in it) I hope this game get more mods. Not a fan of sumari Swords but I did find some really nice European long swords in steam. I am glad I got this.

Their faces looks hideous. I think idea was to make them look like that because people supposed to be hungry and tired. However when you have whole warehouse of food, this looks weird. The thing is - body in Kenshi changes depending on nutrition and fitness. But faces don't for some reason.

Than again developer had really bad case of pedohysteria and intentionally made characters older.

I've changed slightly original files, removing many wrinkles and bad shadows (still left some, to avoid changing faces completely). I think I had to do more work around their eye sockets and nose after all. Now even with my modded textures characters have dark shadows around their eyes at some angles. Although overall faces should look not as bad as before.

 

As for human_female_head_variant diffuse - those you probably don't want to use (although you can try), cause I edited older files, not up to date. It could be changed since then. Anyway I've edited only the eye color there.

 

You can see how it looks in game (dunno if you notice any difference) also there is screenshots of my edition of pubic hair and ass crack (original file from nude mod had slightly different pubic hair and ass looked worse, but now the mod updated, so its up to you).

It would be a great possibility for the creation of sexual mod, slavery, shackles, but unfortunately the modifications are limited, the maximum one can do is to create some armor and sexual stances.

totally agree with you.. i love that game because of its gameplay.. it is unique... but i never liked the Apocalypse themed map or dat samurai stuff.. kinda wish if it was medieval with more greeny map and all medeival- fantasy stuff.. it could've really been great

Depends of what you tried to do. Could you please show a screenshot?

 

I think about few possibilities:

Either when you edited the mesh you somehow deleted some important parts of the model and didn't noticed, and textures now applying incorrectly, or you saved the mesh in the wrong mode, sometimes if you forget to check or uncheck some options when Blender porting the model it turns from the smooth to angular, kinda low poly, and this could affect the appearance of the textures or you simply messed with UV map mode accidentally. Finally, you could mess with the texture itself and perhaps changed its size incorrectly.

Actually without post-apocalyptic alien desert theme and katanas the game would be pretty generic and worse than Skyrim all around. There is quadrillion of fantasy themed medieval magic worlds, hell no, do not need yet another boring one. There is Green biome however, it's that lower right part of the map. Paladins could use European medieval weapons more, but that partially covered now by a couple of mods.

Actually without post-apocalyptic alien desert theme and katanas the game would be pretty generic and worse than Skyrim all around. There is quadrillion of fantasy themed medieval magic worlds, hell no, do not need yet another boring one. There is Green biome however, it's that lower right part of the map. Paladins could use European medieval weapons more, but that partially covered now by a couple of mods.

Dont get me wrong I am not saying remove the theme its nice. I just hoped for more axes and pole arms as I love pole-arms. keep the theme just gotta change the character models, *hoping for some type of cbbe :)* I have also found pole-arms in steam so I am definitely much more happy.

Back, And actually the problem were the lack of triangles. The game don't like quads, so I had to triangulate everything.

Crossing fingers, I really hope there will be more adult mods for Kenshi, I think it has a lot of potential. @Kargrin thank you for sharing your work, I'm going to check it out in game looks great :)

I'd say as a replacer for half pants I'd rather have hot pants, not low waistline half pants. I like when its short but sit higher, not lower and long. Kinda 80s-90s, now that was sexy.

 

Some Japanese dude also made shorter armored skirt https://www.nexusmods.com/kenshi/mods/180

 

And another guy a while ago made skintight chain pants (we really need more tight pants as there is none in original game), can't find it right now, I think it was on Steam. This should be relatively easy to do by applying texture, like they did T-shirts in game.

It seems the skintight chain pants has been removed.

There was a new version of the plugin, and to import the mesh with weights you need to select the skeleton, then import the mesh with the "use skeleton" option

WOW, so that's how it works.

 

Thanks for your help, that make modding these meshes much easier.

 

One more little question, does this game's shirt not have mesh? I only find the textures in undershirt, just need to change that, right?
