Well, your mod is certainly working... but I don't see how yet and don't believe it's the defend sprite used in the .art file, as I have used the Investigate sprite as a move successfully in the past. I'll investigate and hopefully fix my attempt, thank you kindly for providing a proof-of concept.

That is not your artwork. That is Xelswords artwork that you edited. You and I are editors, not authors, once we release is publicly, the only person to hold authority over it is the original author.

I would have willingly posted a link to your upload... if such existed. If there is no legitimate way to obtain something, then people who want it have no other recourse. If patreon purged their porn content tomorrow, there would be little reason not to post all previously-locked content as there is no way to get it conventionally. People want to download your skins. If they can't get them from you, they'll get them somewhere else, and good fucking luck trying to stop that.

If the original author of the mod asks me, I would gladly remove all the modifications; at the end these edits that I make are for personal use; that I am kindly sharing with everyone here: 

 

Quite apart at some point I have collaborated / i collaborate with the patreons of these creators and at the same time I urge that if my work pleases them that they collaborate with the original creators.

So do you use files that someone gave you without knowing their origin? i have published the color editions for lilith a long time ago and they are freely available in my thread; in which i also clarify that I do not want my content to be re-uploaded to another side outside my own thread, only that a mention is made and that they add a direct link to it. Read all the description that I put from the beginning since I created this thread.
And the same for many who may download my free publications at least read the descriptions that i make

You are right and I truly appreciate all the mods/edit that you have posted. While many people might not continuously thank you (maybe only a handful of people show their appreciation) I am certain that anybody who has seen your work would appreciate the effort and the time that went into your projects. The same goes for anybody who makes mods/edits/artwork for people to use without expecting a monotary gain from it or put it behind a paywell (this is not to say that those that do put it behind a paywall are greedy bastards or something) and many people, including me, really do thank you for your hardwork.

Oh, you meant the Lilith skins, that makes slightly more sense. Still not your artwork, but good news, I DID edit the combat sprites, they got shuffled around while attempting to make it work.

If you meant to write something like... 'Please do not reupload my mods, you may link to this thread but not repost...' Well, still no, you hold no authority over me nor claim to the images you MODIFIED, so this whole section is mostly academic, but even by your logic you don't have a foot to stand on.

Are those not enough for you? Most people don't get anywhere near that much, and yet you still want more. Ok, sure, as passive-aggressive as the request is, you have certainly earned it.

Thank you for your work making alternate color skins. You are hands-down the most skilled reskinner in this thread, and I appreciate the time and effort you expend to bring variety to our games with no expectation of repay... well, that clearly isn't true, so for no monetary compensation... Not that you could, as it's editing other's artwork... Regardless, we are not entitled to your time and effort, and I respect that you choose to spend it here.

...Tell me. Do you feel better, now? Do you feel happier, more fulfilled, with one more statement of admiration to add to the pile? ...Do you believe you can be satisfied?

Woah. Uh... huh. I'm going to go eat now, reduce the stress on my system, and try to bury supervillian mode a bit deeper next time. This is all in good fun, no need to cut THAT deep...

@Dan _ Please don't be a jerk. This forum is made for helping other with modding. As Fasterflight225 said, his mod is not published outside LL ( and especially not commercial ). He only make these mods for his own interest and want to share it with other people with the same interest with him. If you still can not understand it then I think the onlyfans website is more suitable for you, not LL.

I admit that when I created the thread I should have been more explicit with the part of "this site" and had to put "this page / publication/ thread" which was one of my objectives when I decided to create this thread; an error that I will edit soon, hoping that this problem does not occur again.

 

Quite apart my list of comments are more publications of mine towards other users solving their doubts or problems.

 

I only regret that I decided to answer you without noticing that you would have a personality with "hater" traits.
And don't worry, you can answer whatever you want, i have no intention of paying more attention to you.

Hey everyone just take it down a little ok? Were all people who just wanna enjoy some nice artwork for a game none of us owns. None of us wants to fight and almost all of us just want to enjoy some skins or edit them to work in a diff manner. We are all here for same reason are we not? To have fun and enjoy things. All that arguing will do is make people want to have less to do with you on a business level and draw unneeded attention to each other. Let us just take a deep breath and just remember no one wants to undermine anyone or steal from someone, we just want to enjoy mods, play games, and improve what others have designed. Honey goes farther to catch flies then Vinegar.

If the game is crashing because of a skin mod, you are doing something HORRIBLY wrong.

Make your install as vanilla as possible and redownload Xelsword's mods, then follow these instructions:

Open the .zip file to find the mod.

Place the mod in DarkestDungeon/mods.

Start the game, create a new game, and click on the blue mod icon.

Check all of xelsword's mods.

Start playing.

If this does not solve your problem, you did not make your install vanilla enough and it is broken. Reinstall the game and be far, FAR more careful about what you overwrite the base files with.

I think the reason DD doesn't have its own forum is because there really isn't any mods that focus on being lewd other then skins, yeah there's Lustiest Lair and the two monsters the creators of it made, noratheexplora turned QipaoFox into a lewd class but that's about it in terms of blatant lewdness. I think if DD was to be given its own forum it would need more then just skin mods, mods that add, not replace.

To be fair majority of sims mods ARE reskins as well. I mean sure they have a ton of new content mods to match, but never look down on reskins for popularity, haha. I get where you are coming from though, but I also think there isn't a issue with having both, a place for mod help (this forum) and a place to keep reskins and to host other mods as well in a organized manner. In fact, it might just encourage people to make more lewd addition mods like more plugins into Lustiest Lair if they have a place that is organized to place them. Nexus has gotten a lot more lax about certain mods being on their site, which is nice, but there still are certain things that they aren't ok with as well that is better suited to be hosted on LL.

I started playing DMC HD collection and holy shit is it fucking hell to play on a PC the keyboard is not optimal in the least, the camera angles are annoying and of course the FPS drop whenever I fight enemies. I know this is not the place but ı just wnated to vent out.

 

And also can somebody explain to me how Lilith is played her damage is almost none existing even with mods that lets me stack 5-6 trinkets

Fucking word. Even with a controller, having spoiled myself with DMC4 earlier in life, I struggled to have fun after Phantom because the combat had gotten repetitive. Thinking of switching to chronological order, going 3, 1, 4, 5.

...Two? There is no two. Do not speak these lies.

Regardless, DMC 1 is one of these prototype games that hasn't aged well due to its successors taking what it does and sanding off all the edges.

She's really good at throwing marks around for Bounty Hunters and other characters who like them. Characters who can force others to guard them like her, as she doesn't strictly have to leave ethereal mode if she doesn't want to.

...I dunno, I stopped using her too, for much the same reason.
