Ok, the next step is to reinstall your Robert's body mod. If you used an OMOD install just deactivate it, and the re-activate it again. If not then either grab the archive download or if you didn't save it then links are below.

Version 4 which I think is what you are using is here:

There is also a version 5: http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=40532

 

After doing the above archive invalidate again. Then go into your game and see if the textures are correct.

Ok, I grabbed version 5, installed it, sorted it, went through the archive invalidation process again. No change.

bh995, which file did you install the manual or OMOD one. If the manual one I recommend using instead the OMOD. IT will make sure to put everything into the correct locations.

 

Also show me your revised load order when you finish please.

I had done a manual installation, I usually do and don't have any problem, but I took your advice and grabbed the OMOD. Loaded it up, redid the archive invalidation. Still no luck.

I have a very interesting problem that is starting to really piss me off. I had my Oblivion set up with Beautiful People stuff (everything from this thread, installed it about week ago) and Lovers mods. I played

as Lop-ear Elf II race, everything worked fine (that was 2 days ago). I tried to add some mods manually but I screwed it up so in the end I had to reinstall oblivion(+ Shivering isles). So I uninstaled oblivion, deleted whole folder with it, reinstalled it, instaled omod again, put new obse there(been using this), downloaded same obse plugins and set up Beautiful People according the

instructions here in thread (again). But when I started to play as Lop-ears elf II again, blocking stoped working the way it should. By that I mean when enemy attacks you they dont stagger (which is a big problem for fighter character).

I thought it was some corrupted files since I've put all Beautiful People in my own zip(so it got corupted when comprresing). I played around it a bit and it seemed that only Lop-ears Elf II race has this problem. So

I just said screw it and uninstaled it again, deleted folder again, deleted even saves and folder in Documents , downloaded Beautiful People again (in case my files were corrupted) and installed oblivion again in different folder.

So I tried to do the cleanest reinstall I thought possible (hopefully I didnt forget to delete everithing :D). So after I set up everything again (which is same as when it worked, like week ago) I found out that block still doesnt stagger

opponents when they attack, but when I attack I get staggered. This was a minor problem at first, but now I am so enraged I could tear a tank appart with my bare hands without even trying. I could just forget about it and start playing race that

blocks properly, but the point is that it is a mystery, it brings me into rage and I want to play as that race now even more that before. Help please. (And dont ask me about my load order I just have Beautifull people now, there is not that much one can do bad there) Thanks in advance.

Not to bash the person who made AIO (all-in-one) MBP/MBP++/x117 OMOD but this was a waste of the 2 hours it took to download. This needs the option to choose what esp's you want to install,not just have it install everything. Now I need to re-download the seperate files for MBP again.

The entire purpose of an all in one (AIO) is to install everything. If you just want to install a few of them you need to do the manual route. You also can install the AIO and manually disable the esp files you don't want. A message will pop up saying do you want to do this and you can "unlink" the esp from the OMOD file (you might have to right click on the esp you want to get rid of).

 

Additionally you can use OBMM to unzip the omod file to a temp directory and manually install from there.

Thanks for the guide first off. It's great. This is some type of error on my end I'm sure, but I have to ask. I wanted to install the chocolate elf race which wasn't included amongst the montage of races I now have available. So, I just ended up downloaded the race file from TESNexus and then I ended up applying the MBPP optional file after I installed the Chocolate elves and now the race follows the same issues I had before. No hair or eyes. This happened on a completely fresh install of Oblivion (SI+KotN included). Only thing that was added that was extra was the unofficial patch and OMM. Is there any way to fix this issue? Appreciate it and thanks in advance.

Did you follow the directions in the OP.

You can't install parts of it and expect it to work unless you know how to modify things with the CS or use Tes4edit.

 

MBP++ requires MBP

MBP choco elves requires MBP++

Even if you install all of them but do it out of order it will not work right.

 

Also did you archive invalidate via bsa redirection?

Posting your load order might also be helpful.

 

Truthfully you should make sure you do all of the above and then post this along with your LO in the technical support area as it will get more attention.

Chocolate elves from nexus by XinaVRO , requires corean mod, not MBP.

Chocolate elves from nexus by XinaVRO , requires corean mod, not MBP.

 

There is also a MBP chocolate elves that is an optional download on the MBP++ downloads page. I think this is the version he is talking about.

mine includes the mbp++ one and should have parts of the corean race included i think i have to check

You're right Major-Kagami,

 

I know it's not well explained on the MBP++ page you linked to, but if you just install that one mod you will be missing eyes, heads and some races. I hope you have success if you follow this guide. The AIO on the OP will also give you all the races (& save some steps).

well its working better now... but its not working right. I got the missing heads and many eyes now. however I look really cute! so now....how do I fix it? do I need to start all over? or maybe its a load order thing?

We can't help you unless we know what you have installed. Post your load order. Did you follow all the steps on the OP exactly as shown? Have you archive invalidated? Do you have the custom race fix or UOP? Did you make a bashed patch?
