BBB: Better Bouncing Boobs

Hello players,

I am new to this forum and modding oblivion and I really need advice as to why my game lags when installing anything related to BBB. I have tried deactivating other mods, using different skeletons as well as body replacers, but I still seem to lag. My game runs fine without BBB, but after installing HGEC body with BBB, lag rises again even with low resolution and every setting possible set to low.

Note: This is only when I take off my cloths to reveal the breasts, or legs.

Your system is badly out of date and you are probably not going to be able to do much. The video card is 5 plus years old and was not a good gaming card when new.

With a 32 bit system the 4gb patch doesn't do anything at all for you.

All in all you are going to have to find very low rez textures (256-512 range) to be able to play with any kind of decent frame rate. I don't even know where you will find them.

You can try OSR (oblivion stutter remover) and Streamline (both can be obtained from the nexus.com) to see if they can help you but with a system that old I don't know how much they will help. Sorry.

Thank you for your advice though, and yea I know my device is old but its been able to put up with heavy games like oblivion, I was sorta shocked to see the lag with BBB, but oh well.

I feel your pain,

I was pretty much in the same boat until I scraped together enough for a graphics card. Not the best card... but at least it let me work with BBB. Also, be sure to go through TweeksGuide to oblivion and check the utilities catagory at nexus in addition to gregathits advice.

Got a bit of a problem looking for help I installed the BBB DMRA version and its associated armor and clothing replacers, downloaded the compatible skeleton, installed Wyre Bash and got one of the animation packs. However, it doesn't seem to be working. None of the clothing conversions are working, they are only showing their default shape. The DMRA body installed fine, and shows when torso clothing is unequipped, but the entire body is the color of the skin, including the nipples, and it looks like a bad texture error.

Did I miss anything or mess up the installation? I only have experience modding more recent games like Skyrim, and I have to say Oblivion is...a bit more complicated Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, something somewhere has gone wrong with your installation. What you are seeing with the nude body texture is what we call an incompatible texture for the DMRA mesh. DMRA is an HGEC derivative body so you can use any body texture made either for DMRA or for HGEC. Other body textures may not work properly. Roberts female body textures for example won't look right on an HGEC\DMRA body.

At this point you need to make sure you have archive invalidated via bsa redirection. If that doesn't change things then reinstall your body mod along with a compatible texture set (if the body mod doesn't come with it).

Now concerning the clothing, if you did not properly install that clothing plugin correctly or if you forgot to archive invalidate invalidate then you would still see the vanilla clothing. First try archive invalidating via bsa redirection in OBMM and see if that fixes you up. If not then make certain that the item of clothing is indeed covered in the plugin you installed (some might not be) and if it is then reinstall the plugin making certain you install it correctly.

My problem seems to involve ArchiveInvalidation chiefly. Did what you said, used AI with BSA redirect in OBMM and a little box popped up that said "done" but still no textures loaded in game. However even before I installed any mods I had already used BSA redirect for ArchiveInvalidation and it did not seem to have any effect then either. Thanks for the quick reply by the way.

Ok, are you:

1. Running Steam or Disc version?

2. Did you install to the default location (program files)?

If 2 is true (installed to default location) then you are likely fighting UAC and permissions issues. Best thing to do is move your game outside of the program files directory. How you do so depends on how you answered number 1.

Yes I am using the Steam version. File directory is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion

UAC is disabled though I don't know if that will help.

Nope it won't.

Best thing if you really want to use mods is to move steam. Fortunately this is a fairly painless thing to do, although it does take quite a while. Ideally you get it setup to copy and just leave it overnight while you sleep to finish. Doing it this way you can avoid having to redownload\reinstall any games\mods.

The problem is not just UAC but also permissions. Even in admin mode you don't have permission to alter files in the program files directory. While this clearly is a safety feature to prevent hackers\viruses (or user accidents) it just really serves as just another hindrance to the end user. This would not be that big of an issue if every F'ing thing under the planet didn't default to install there! Bottom line if you intend on modding a game then install it outside of the program files directory to avoid any issues. C:\Games\ works just fine or even using a second drive.

i have the BBB b-cup body, which i love, but most BBB armour is DMRA or whatever, or some huge wobbly h-cup. any b-cup stuff that anyone knows about? or a?

Looks like most folks are not interested much in bouncing small boobs. In spite of this, there are tons of small boob BBB outfits out there.. For example, search FLY or FLY_ in Nexus. About half of yuravica's works are HGEC B cup.

I think smaller boob is more less jiggle. So people don't think about jiggle? Only my think.

And second special category people is exist.

They say "Boob is garbage fat! Big boob must Cut off!!" So breast part is only curve line part and never jiggle apply.

To they jiggling boob is GREAT SIN!! Boob is only accessory.

I just installed nomaam bbb replacer I have all of the skeletons and it works fine but when I go into 1st person I get infinity meshes anyway to fix this.

I also have Dmc,uv2,deadly reflex 5 and Mao install

For skeletons make SURE you are using Growlf's Universal skeleton (the controllable version) and this 1st person fix: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/40482/?

If that doesn't fix you up then you are more than likely going to have to dump MAO. It is pretty incompatible with other plugins.

I haven't used the archive invalidation what setting do I use I changed it to BSA alteration as stated a couple pages back but now I get ctd on loading

Fixed the ctd by setting it back to the Dafault still have the infinity mesh though

Can't really help you without a ton more information:

1. Steam or non-steam game.

2. Load order

3. Where you installed Oblivion to (the default program files directory?)

4. Operating System (XP, Vista, Win7 or Win8)

5. Using OBMM or Wrye Bash?

6. Starting the game with OBSE's loader exe (if non-steam version)

Also, it the breast to infinity with a nude body or a particular clothing\armor? If a nude body then list which you are using. If an armor\clothing then list the name of it (or what plugin it is from).

I'm currently using hgec body with has no bbb. But I like using spb mod which change the body aswell the animation worked before but after I instal nomaam the motion still still work I only get the infinity meshes in first person view.

I followed the instructions in nomaam but I can't figured out how to do the archive invalidation l(which I'm guessing it causing the problem)

Can't put up my load order up right now(still trying to learn boss)

BOSS doesn't "give" you your load order, it auto arranges it.

Your load order can be obtained from OBMM or Wrye Bash by following the steps on the link I gave you. Follow those steps and just copy\paste it.

Which setbody mod are you using? The one from here or the one from somewhere else?

All HGEC bodies have BBB so I don't understand what you are talking about here. Do you mean no BBB animations included?

Thx for sharing. I was especially interested in the BBB swimming idles, although seeing it in action it has to be mentioned that the breast movement is very subtle and sometimes hardly noticeable.
Realistic BBB movement in water should be awesome if it was ever made. ;D
