Airianna Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 HOLY SHIT!! Mental note: Do NOT date Airianna!  hahaha Apparently, you have problems with manning up and being a father of a child? Anyone can be a donor, but it takes a real man to become a father
Raider1 Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 Ok, just hit a snag... Traveling with Preston, who IS the father of my current child... oopsies... - Got him in Power Armor, can't ask him to exit the power armor for more sex, and can't get to the dismiss dialogue, unless I talk to him about the child, and being we started a relationship as it was, and he says he won't be tied down... - - In RL, I would do what any woman would do, have the child and slap him with child support, and NEVER speak to him again. In this game, if he wasn't a companion, I would just shoot him right after extorting all the caps I can from him, then take and sell his gear to cover the cost of abortion... - - So it seems the only things I can do is extortion, or let it drop as a single mom, no real choices to do anything viable with him. And one of the options, should be to have him cover the cost of the abortion and then some, because it's his fault for not keeping it in his pants, and his fault for not pulling out or using a condom So 2 can play that game, and I am already 1 up on "him". I am looking forward to the updates where the children grow up, and have actual relationships with the NPCs. I know the 2nd part of that will be quite a challenge. And it would be even greater, both as a mod as well as the challenge, to have the replies voiced. Thinking back to the OLD games, from the 1980s, they used a single voice file, that was just a sound ranging from really high to really low pitched, to generate words from, by preloading that sound file, and playing parts of the track in quick succession, and slightly overlapped... I wonder if the software is still available... Edit add: Also, talking with a doc to get healed is impossible while pregnant, all they want to do is talk about abortion options have you ever considered, he might be a mutant and its impossible for him to keep it in his pants. Radiation can do strange things in the wasteland. You might have gotten pregnant from drinking dirty water. LOL
Dieterhaller Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 Hmm. I just got random the its your x-months of pregnancy message on a new game without ever having intercourse so far. All of the "monthly" messages within 10 seconds. "Its your 2 months of pregnancy. Its your 3 months"...and so on. And now it says permanently I have to see a doctor. But Iam not pregnant at all. No body changes. No quest. Just the messages. CP Bug? Curious. ^^

Where's the fun in that? At least, the most realistic part of gamma radiation removal through cooking is realistic. Super Mutants, are the spin-off of David Tanner, the Incredible Hulk, who got hit by a heavy dose of Gamma Radiation while working in his lab.

You can use the console to give you caps each month. Yeah, I could, but nah. I don't really "need" the caps, since the babies don't get to age anyway, right now... But Preston is starting to annoy the heck out of me. Force Greet of some sort, and it wants to continue the conversation between my PC and him, trying to force me to use extort, or single mom option. Neither are agreeable to me. After porting over to Far Harbor, I was able to use the doc there to cure the disease *activated survival mode a couple days ago, and using a mod that puts it back to a more normal game, like Skyrim with RND type setting* Not sure how this worked, but... I set up new doctors in 2 locations (Vault 88 and The Castle), the first I was able to say never abort, and the doc no longer pestered me about abortions, and the 2nd, never even brought it up. but my first doctor, at the drive-in still liked to pester me (when I go back in, I can check to see if he still pesters me). So the trip to FH helped kick them in correctly for me? Or the new doc locations? Either way, it started working. Guess I need to see if there is a console command to dismiss the current companion, if not, I will basically have to get him badly wounded so he will go home, and I can catch up to him later, after the next update.

Raider1 Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 what we need are trophy... er... baby beds to place those Super mutant snack treat....er... bundles of joy in once they are born. Maybe the children of Atom or the institute could open an orphanage.

Maybe the children of Atom or the institute could open an orphanage. Yer in luck, there is a mod for that. Build all beds at http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13453 With it you can make cribs, and every single bed in the game. Since I run the institute, an orphanage doesn't sound like a bad idea. Rebuild the CIT as the orphanage for children without parents.... Shame there aren't any mechanics for that in game. stopquest FPFP_Daddy that console command will stop everything related to the find the daddy quest stopquest FPFP_Abort stop doctors telling you about abortions. Thank you for this.
Destynova99 Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 My character was pregnant and about to give birth so I headed into Bunker Hill and the doctor there took care of it. And then after the baby was born, the doctor said she wanted to show me her appreciation and the sex/companion/etc dialogue popped up. Quite a full service checkup... lol.
VonHelton Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 hahaha Apparently, you have problems with manning up and being a father of a child? Anyone can be a donor, but it takes a real man to become a father Ironically, I have sole custody of 2 six yr olds & a seven yr old & the wife is the one that took off. Super Mutants, are the spin-off of David Tanner, the Incredible Hulk, who got hit by a heavy dose of Gamma Radiation while working in his lab. David "Bruce" Banner
Black-Jack Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 David "Bruce" Banner Just Bruce. Bruce Banner, because Stan Lee was terrible at remembering names, and so used alliteration as mnemonic devices. That's why you have a plethora of old Marvel IPs like Reed Richards, Peter Parker, Scott Summers, etc. David Banner was the rename for the TV show "The Incredible Hulk" with Lou Ferrigno, Bill Bixby (rest his soul) and that amazingly depressing outro music. The name change was because the producer (I think) wanted to sortof "break ties" with the idea of it being a comic book (and thus a childish) thing. He figured alliterative names were a staple of comic books, which, thanks to Stan Lee, they sortof were. THE MORE YOU KNOW... >_> ~_~ We now return you to our regularly scheduled FP Comment thread.

David "Bruce" Banner Should be tanner, cause he had a really nice shade of green tan every time he got mad... hehehe Still, sorry to hear about the ex running off on ya. She thought the grass would be greener on the other side... Still, from experience, the grass on the other side, can seem more alive, till you step in it, then you realize, it's just the same mud hole, or worse, a cattle farm, and you just got mixed in with the herd, Endless supply of Cow Patty Pies!

How do you intend to get the babies out of the inventory of NPC's we can't interact with? If they need to be dropped, who will do the dropping? ????

How do you intend to get the babies out of the inventory of NPC's we can't interact with? If they need to be dropped, who will do the dropping? ???? Just drop the baby inventory item in Aid section like dropping anything else in the game. The baby will appear. You can trade with setllers and companions. For everyone else, I guess: kill them or use Violate's steal dialogue option after beating the shit out of them You need to drop the babies yourself for them to grow.

Arrow and the Knee Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 After a long break, I'm back. And with a few questions for those of you who don't mind my lack of effort to scroll through the pages. Anyway, my main question is a simple one: do the morphs work with ANY outfit that exists in the CBBE bodyslider (and I mean any such as ones made by other mod authors, DeserterX, HN66, etc) ?

Those armor need to have the associated .tri files for the morphs to work. If you have the bodyslide files to be able to make them in bodyslide then they can work with the morphs. Just build with morphs enabled in bodyslide.
