So you mean after the meeting with the thief? How stuck? are you crashing? you can´t move? have you tried to keep drinking so you get the other start scene ?

 

Make sure you are runing FNIS from zero and activating DogmaEngine.esm and Dogma - Thief.esp, also make sure you have the requiered mods for this. Also check the brewmasterhal FAQ. Thats all i can say, if you have still problems maybe because a large load order, you should consider starting a new game.

That's the problem,when I enter the Squeaking mast,the scene did not start.

Hmm, go to sleep and then go there. If she doesn't want to, use skipping the day by the fireplace / stove where Sully is or use the command setpqv bd_sq_sw IsTired true. And so my friend, I have no more ideas because I myself had a rape scene when I came back the next day.

I have an annoying bug. When I am supposed to bring medicine to Viggi he's just chilling outside of the Suite and the room itself is empty. He stays there all the time and the scene never progresses. When I enterd and leave he is levitating in the air in his back pain position. Is there any way I can put him back in the bed?

 

I've tried killing and ressing him, placing a nw Viggi(who is obsessed with the sink, btw) but nothing does the trick. I can't really go back with the save and when I could it didn't help either.

Thought I'd give it another go, removed a lot of heavy script mods since last playing it. Only I do still have a lot of animations installed.

 

Anyone know, approx, how many Thief installs?

When I tried to run FNIS after install it started crying and begged me to stop.

 

Would like an idea of how many I need to be rid of, if possible.

i just restarted my run and recently got into solitude again after i downloaded the newest free update 0.9.5. I had finally gotten to the point where you get into the Skunkway, so i knock on the door and the guard answers and lets me in after this he went on to do a "search test" halfway through he would stop and answer someone knocking on the door then it would all stand still as it does during a cut scene only that nothing happened after that he just continued to stand staring at the door for minutes without saying anything i haven't been able to get past this and its getting frustrating please help if you think you know a solution.

i don't understand what you mean with downloading over the original? do I have to download two files i just followed the drive link and got it into my manager. and yes i have fnis 7.5 xxl

Nope I deinstalled the Original first,

but in case I die something wrong, I will do it again tomorrow

Keep in mind that even if you uninstall the old version, you should still install the new version in a clean save game

I mean in the game, man.  I tag all of the lines I haven't translated yet with their EDIDs so that when I find them in-game I can easily identify both that they're not translated and, in the case of lines that are identical, which line needs to be updated.  The ones that are still tagged are the ones that I haven't found in-game yet.

 

As for no nonsense: what do "I here you've never seen before", "don't want to be with me again this happened", and "well, everything" mean?  These lines are machine-translated, and are therefore total nonsense.

 

Good effort, though.  I appreciate the attempt.

I'm sorry if this is answered ,I'm trying to keep up. I am at the meeting with Viggi (the one after the meeting with the woman and the servant). In the walkthrough,it says you get some choices. However I don't seem to have any choice but it goes straight to a sex scene ,after getting a drink.Moreover after the scene when she wakes him up ,I get a mini game where I have to break the player free from the awkward position. If I manage to mash A and D and fill the bar,nothing happens ,the player keeps trying to break free forever. Any ideas?

If you sit on the table with him and wait you automatically get to the sex scene. That's how it's supposed to be. But you get choices during that scene if you decide to take his load on the mouth and then when you decide to 'clean' him. Try losing the minigame, don't press A and D and wait if the scene progresses.

Is there a command that allows to bypass the need to best three Gamblers at dice? I find it one of the most tedious parts of the mod and I'd rather jump into the orc part.

Highborn's already guessed where I was going with that question: make sure that you're using a clean save and try again.  If you're still having the same issue with a fresh run, come back and let us know.

do you mean starting a new game then going back to the skunkway? Im kinda not feeling going through the story a third time tho. is there a command to automatically progress to the doorway or something?

For the sex scene with Vilgen, the karma requirement goes down after speaking with Olaf and down further after sweeping up piles of dust. It goes all the way down to 5, in my experience.

 

There is also a short additional bit of dialogue if your karma is low enough when starting the sex scene.

Yes, there is an skip function in the MCM menu that allows you to select your key decisions and then you start in Solitude, ready to go to the Skunkway with a Dibellan coin.

 

 

But you don't have to necessarily start a new game. You can load any save before you had installed Thief in your game.

Did you install the new version over the old one? You have to uninstall the old mod and install the new version in a clean save game (before you had any Thief files installed). So it's safer to load an old save or start a new game to play the new version. You can use the skip in the MCM menu to advance you to Solitude.

I did this, and tried to use the skip function. However, I get an error that its "not available in the middle of a scene". Do I need to load an even older save?
