Redd99 Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 For some reason, I can't seem to do any damage with melee weapons or magic during the fight with Zoe before she kills my PC.Ā Ā How do you beatĀ her?Ā Ā Also, it would be good if you could save just before that fight so you don't have to sit through her speech every time (or is there a way to skip it?). 1

Ā Confirmed, the problem was too many animations. I didn't even run FNIS after upgrading, so I never saw the warning. xD This mod was 16.6% CTD risk, by far the highest of all other anim mods (only one above 10% was DD 4.0 with 11%) and ratcheted the CTD rick up to 102% from previous 92%. installed the following mod and now it works brilliantly even without removing any other anims: https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/11208-beta-le-animation-limit-crash-fix/ Ā
wren888 Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 I installed version 9.5, checked the esp and esm in Mod Orgainzer, and ran FNIS. I clicked its consistency check, which listed "1966 possible consistence issues." 7 were duplicate AnimEvents. The 1957 others were missing AnimFiles. Many include the word "dogma." The others I recognize as animations used by the Thief mod. The consistence warnings all end with "mod BDanimations," "mod dftCreature," "mod dftHuman," "mod dftMiscAnimation," or "mod dft." Apparently, FNIS is failing to find any of the Thief animations. I downloaded Thief 0.95.57.eng again and got the same result. I downloaded it from the other source. Same thing. I uninstalled Thief v9.5, reran FNIS, clicked consistency check, and got 0 consistence issues, just as it was before I installed Thief v9.5. A while back I played through Thief v9.1 without any problems except one involving Lod, if I remember correctly, which I was able to work around. Does anyone have any idea what my problem is with v9.5?

I would suggest you check yourĀ FNISListCollect.txt this is a very useful file for debugging animation problems.Ā The problems you are having were not issues for me (using MO2). If you are seeing duplicate events, you are probably having a mod conflict or a corrupted install.Ā The 1966 # is about the number of animations in the mod itself, so that # seems to point to a poor install.Ā Are you making sure that MO is managing your archives, as that sounds like a possibility.
wren888 Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 Thank you brewmasterhal and WaterRabbit for your help. Ā brewmasterhal, I knew the animations had to be somewhere in the mod. It's worked for everyone else, and as I said, also for me in a previous version. That's why I referred to the problem I'm having as "my problem" rather than "a problem with the mod." Thank you for telling me where the animations are. Ā WaterRabbit, yes, I also thought my problem was a corrupted install. That's why I redownloaded the mod twice and attempted to install it three times. A mod conflict also crossed my mind, but that FNIS failed to find every animation in Thief v0.9.5 led me to think it must be something else, except regarding the seven duplicate animations, of course. Speaking of which, I figured the duplicates were because I already had them installed via another mod. With FNIS reporting 1966 consistence problems, those seven never were my main concern. After the 1959 "missing" animations are dealt with, I can identify the seven duplicate animations and remove them. However, I've never even heard of FNISListCollect.txt. What is that and where do I find it? Thank you for the information.
Zanzuki93 Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 I'm sorry to ask this but how the hell do you get a corrupted install in MO2? I did the same thing i did for every other mod installed using the manual option to make sure that it put the content of the mod on top level and MO2 says Seems Good or whatever. What am i supposed to differently when MO2 is telling me it is fine and dandy? Ā Mfg Console, SexLabFramework v161b FULL These are the only conflicts i have in MO2. I don't think it is a conflict. Edit: Ok it seems that i am only missing the files when i go to check consistency on FNIS

It will be in the tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\temporary_logs\FNISListCollect.txt.Ā So that location depends on how you have installed your FNIS.Ā When I use MO and run FNIS, this gets dumped into the Overwrite folder.Ā I then repackage that as a FNIS Patch modĀ as MO complains if there are things in the Overwrite folder.Ā In my repackaged mod, it is on the Text Files tab when looking at the properties or in Mod Organizer 2\Skyrim\Mods\FNIS Patch (or Mod Organizer 2\Skyrim\Overwrite if you don't package). Ā If you are using something else, you will probably have to just search for the file.
