Ya, animating takes a boat-load of time, and for new people it’s also a learning cliff as I like to describe it. That was my experience when I started at least. So much bull crap to get through just to get an animation exported and working in-game, with seemingly a lot of odd points of failure. I’ve had helped people get setup to animate only for something dumb like being unable to properly export the animation. Many tried, but I don’t think any I helped truly made it to the point of releasing anything publicly.

In a world of infinite time I’d have liked to look at fallout, but it seems my work in Skyrim is never done. So much to still do! I was just the other day thinking how it’s crazy I’ve never gotten around to doing an FMC animation.

 

The export part in itself can get fucked in oh so many ways. Thankfully I did my first install cleanly.

 

When I tried to install to my new computer I had forgotten most of the setup. I had to re-educate myself again. Might have been a good thing though.

 

 

I wish time would stand still sometimes. I could animate, make armor conversions, play games, watch Youtube and see TV series.

 

But if I am to pull half of this off I will be busy for half of my remaining years. Got other plans.

 

 

Really hope that they don't fuck up Elder Scrolls 6. I would for sure consider animating for that game too.

 

Starfield never took off and I am afraid that the modding scene is dead before it really began. I would never wish that fate for ES6.

 

Hope characters and bodies will get a major upgrade though. If I have to fight the badly weighted upper arm and leg in Skyrim meshes again I will kill myself.

Seems lackluster at best. But the games themselves looks promising and I still look forward to really play them.

I have 20 AAA games on Steam that I will never get to play. Skyrim calls me back every time.

 

I will get totally hooked on a game. Then I start it. After a week it happens with another game. I hate that about myself.

 

 

I never finish anything. Except Mass Effect Legendary and Dragon Age 1 / 2.

I was given grief for saying similar a week or so ago finishing a play through. Its a shame for there are a few fantastic way above average mods over on that side of the line. Changing from one body style to another is also like pulling teeth. But you are right the animations are clunky to say the least.

I can with Morrowind and Oblivion. They are just that damned good.

 

Thank God though. The NPC's are so ugly I would run away screaming, if they were nude.

Instead of contacting the animator You should write to the author of Wabbajack.

 

 

You and so many others should really learn to mod instead of just downloading a list of mods You don't understand how to fix.

Actually, what's considered rude is asking mod authors/users to provide old versions of mods for outdated modlists.  It's the responsibility of the list author to keep it updated and there are avenues of communication (Patreon, Discord, etc.) to report issues or find help.  Coming to a mod site to insult users for not enabling your ignorance only compounds the rudeness.

Oblivion was good when it was still afloat, but it hasn't aged well. I expect the story and the dialogue would feel quite awkward now, since they went all serious with a "divine human emperor and all his children are gods" theme(sorry if you think otherwise, it's just my opinion). Modding is the only thing that can make it playable, much like Skyrim actually, lol.

I guess WabbaJack hasn't been updated in a while? Well I guess 4~ months isn't that old. I only keep the past 3 versions up on LL. As a shameless plug though, for $2 my Substar/Pixiv will go back further in version #s in historical posts if someone really wanted an older version for some reason. There's also newer versions of course too.

I don't think "Export3p - 7 Stage.bat" and "Export3p - 7 Stage.txt" are supposed to be in Meshes/Actors/Character/Animations/Billy_CreatureHumanoids, did you forget to delete these files before packing the mod?

Lol, sorry. Just the simple 'script' thing I run to quickly convert+rename exported 3ds anims to .hkx. I must've copied it over by mistake at some point. I shall remove them from future versions. Thanks for the tip.

With both games I have 5-10 quality of life mods. That's all and they are so fun to play.

 

Even Morrowind that are more than 20 years old. I have installed a graphics update for that game though.

 

Walking animations look like they shit their pants.

 

 

But essentially they feel like You need to achieve something to get a higher rank in the factions. Many more magical effects.

 

Fun Alchemy. Fun Lockpicking. Where You can actually fail.

 

In Skyrim You have 5 missions in the Companions. Then You are suddenly the new Harbinger. College is 5-10 missions at most.

 

Only Dawnguard is so long because You want either the vampire jewelry or the Dawnguard weapons. Then You need to play 25+ random boring missions.
