Hey Vinfamy. Not sure if you knew this or if someone already mentioned it. If you're looking for extra voices or sounds to add into Four-Play, you can use the Nora lines in the beginning when you're creating a character. Also the Cait grunts and moans while shes in the drug-fix chair during her vault quest are great. If you want I can edit them in Audacity in snips and send them to you.

Fallout 4 just updated to a new version (1.10 I believe) to accomdate the creation club crap (CCC), so f4se needs to be updated as well (the versions of f4se and fo4 must match).

Avoid installing the update if you can. It's mainly just the Creation Club.

Yeah, a compilation pack like that would never work, too many updates still being pushed out. Maybe in 2020 when all those mods are pretty much 'complete'. Hosting might not be a problem though, most big mods on here are hosted on Mega anyway.

 

Although I can always dream about a LoversLab Mod Manager hooked directly into LoversLab's download serverd that each time you start it, automatically check for updates for whatever you have installed ...   

 

 

From what I have read unless Ashal himself supports it not going to happen.

 

Now a merge armour pack of all the current armours on nexus and here that have not been updated in say the last 6 months with armour smith and akwr would be doable, assuming somebody has the time and inclination to do so.

 

That would be something I would do myself privately but the crafting system in fallout 4 does my head in, I know it is all the keywords pretty much but damn is getting the to work correctly a pain, at least for me anyway, my tries tend to either ctd on start or lock me in the menus, so I gave up till I can find a decent guide for armour smith patches for the ck rather than xedit.

please bear in mind, this is a dirty hack and exists only as a temporary workaround until f4se gets update. expect some weirdness. in my case some menu items are absent, but it works fine in general.

It's a crap hack and not worth the effort.  I can easily wait for f4se to update.  Time to catch up on some good flicks (or crappy ones - they're fun too...)

the way I've avoided updates is one offline mode and two was kind of an accident.  I was having problems with FO4 so I changed the name of the folder went on steam and started to download a new copy.  Since I am mobile the connection speed was poor and I wasn't willing to tie up the net for two days to download so I paused it.  Renamed the new folder to fo4 1, changed the old folder back to its original name and used it to play.  well a month later I still haven't finished the download and I am still playing the game LOL. 

 

just start steam first in offline mode then start the game using F4SE.

 

Time to catch up on some good flicks (or crappy ones - they're fun too...)

 

some are fun but avoid a movie called Grave Mistake, It is by far the worst movie I have seen in my life.  It is aptly named, its a mistake to watch it, it was a mistake to write the script, it was a mistake for the director, actors and even the caterers to have a thing to do with it.  LOL

 

there are better kindergarten productions.

FO4 is saying F4SE is incompatible with FO4. And I know from my earlier mistake. This mod only works with 030. So wouldn't this mod need to update?

Uh, no it hasn't. The latest version on their website is build: 0.4.2, which only works with FO 4 version 1.9.4. FO 4 is now up to version 1.10.20.0, which means F4SE no longer works with it. If you have a link to an updated version, I would certainly like to see it.

I checked my INI files & found that the command to allow mods had been DELETED from my INI files.

 

Isn't that just ducky? My game will no longer load at all. Gonna hafta do a fresh install.

unless you have a clean copy of FO4 preupdate there is no way I know of to download another copy or restore the old one with out steam updating it.   thats why I keep two copies of the game, one clean the other an update or more behind so I know I have a copy that works in case of problems.

There are downloads available for FO 1.9.4 available from the Steam Forums. Just search on F4SE. I've rolled mine back and it's fine.
