Brisbane Australia Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 Everyone's above images in this thread continues to show the great stuff everyone's making, a showcase of the best and people trying out new things and moving forward, also some new people too Hello! Well this is my current collection: a Christmas Card for everybody here! - There wasn't anyone who wanted to be 'included' in it so I've reverted the format back to how I usually make them. Although I like story text in my images I think others don't, so there's no text in this lot, just the images. Christmas Card Session's 12 Images Made in Blender screencapped in TS3 Freestyle positioning using no reference images, which without any reference rules actually makes it a lot more easy to make. I like this weird cube room so I've used it again and the male sim has a special Santa hat just for Christmas along with the female Sim who has lighter areolas. Room is sealed for closer textures - it's not landess quality but is a little more textured. Merry Christmas & Enjoy! Spoiler 4

If you haven't tried them, I suggest picking up the AWT hat sliders. I've been surprised how many accessory objects do use it. Great for making things 'fit', and an option to try so one doesn't have to change hair because it sticks thru the hat/object I got around to making my version of the 'Scarecrow/Jonathan Crane' For my Gotham save. 2

I did not remake it, but have used the hat sliders as well as the eyeglasses sliders... Latest being the eyepatches. Scarecrow... Hmmmm... I must say the hood is the work of Venus Princess. )))

TS3 can be unpredictable, and that's on a good day! On 12/20/2021 at 11:52 AM, landess said: I got around to making my version of the 'Scarecrow/Jonathan Crane' For my Gotham save. They showed the Death Note movies several years ago over here, I really liked them, when they show foreign movies here they all have subtitles.

You can delete root bind, and TSRW will just add it back anyway. Then type b__Hat_grip__ (I think that is how it is), into the bone box and paint the entire hat red (1.000 / 100%) to that new bone. See red box... http://awtmk.blogspot.com/2011/04/bone-slider-set-hat-control.html Not sure about the poses either. I have been having a problem where some poses that I had used forever, simply stopped showing in the pose player list. I believe the VP masks are uni-sex, and I know the straight jackets are specific M and F. I began seeing (noticing) Misa during several searches for various things. Latest being "Goth/ Gothic Lolita". Realizing that one of my favorite hairs by Kewai-Dou is his Misa hair that I remade to work with original FemmeBot. I then found that outfit by Cosplaysimmer for TS4. Looking at the mesh, it appears to have been a game rip that was reduced to work in TS4, which I could not reduce enough to work in TS3 (normal problem), but was able to use the skirt, pendant and bows, then made a new body mesh with poly and vertices I could control count. So, it's mostly also a new texture, which I'm improving, but still not great at making. She will be back in Blender today, as I am still trying to get her necklace to work correctly. OY... the boots are basically straight conversion, as the poly count was okay.

I wonder if anyone knows how hard it is to try matching certain textures from the EA standard to look like some of these custom textures? Anyways - I just wanted to get the character into the save file mostly - career (medical), set level and find a place to live. While most of my experience with the Scare Crow character has been Nolan movies or Arkham games - I found it strange that in the comics I get a Green Goblin vibe from his outfit design - so maybe I'll just keep an eye out for a few other clothing items. I'm too 'old' to be Weaboo, but many of your recent uploads makes it easier . . . . Edited December 21, 2021 by landess Pics Post Needs Pics 4

Need to put it in my game to see how it moves. Also going to dress Marie Rose in the other Goth Loli dress to double check that one when restart.

You're not too old yet if you can still match the difficult textures, I know of 'old' people who don't even want to look at a computer in-case they break it, let alone get used to using a mouse. 12 hours ago, LadySmoks said: In Blender, you must remove all bones except b__ROOT_bind__ if present. I used the baseball cap to test it out I played around with the hat so you can see it, images for your amusement! ? For anyone else interested here's how I did it: S3OC to get the hat file SimPE to Extract the GEOM's, Import each GEOM into Milkshape Model Tab select all vertices. Joints Tab select the hat bone Click Assign to assign all vertices to that bone. Export back out. Replace original GEOM files. 2

Not used so much on hairs, but accessories... like that hat without hair attached. ))) But yes, a quick way to test.

His hair does look like that, but the style was randomly chosen by NRaas mods. This was entirely consensual, though. I got a notice shortly after making the screenshot that these two had started going steady. 1

Again, as a FAILED animator (before dresses) I know what those bones look like in Blender, and can imagine the work of moving each one... on 2 actors... maybe 3, 4 or more!
