visby Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 How is the base building in this game is more robust then fallout 4 currently ?? or does it have the same quirks like unable to build from some angle like currently is happening in fallout 4 ?? There are issues with it for sure. For example when trying to build a large stairway sometimes it just wont let me put two stairs in a row but I can put down a roof/floor and then place another stair in the exact spot I wanted the stair in the first place. Not sure how it compares to Fallout 4 as I haven't picked it up yet (waiting on a full edition for about $20).

It has pretty much the same "snapping" problems as FO4. Sometimes it will try to snap things not where you want to put them, and you have to pixelhunt that magic angle that will allow you to snap parts where you want them or sometimes it will outright refuse to place a block (solvable by restarting the building script, just unselect and reselect part you are trying to place). Other than that, it works fine..

Placing them seems to be sensitive to how flat your ground is, where you are trying to place it.
Sosina Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 from what I read off the steam thread all alters seem to have that problem in single player at the moment (not sure if that was recent yet, but so far I am unable to place my Set alter, maybe try the other two alters to see?)

I haven't tried it in the latest build tho. Issues I've had with single player are when logging back on are having all my flint arrows but one disappear and having half my water skins be empty. Not everyone, there is an npc on southern bank of the starting river who teaches you the "wave" emote, something the wanderer is it's name. Jamila (the pirate lady who teaches you the Mitra religion) teaches you the "salute" emote. There are also friendly yog priest and set priest who teach you Yog and Set religions, not sure if they teach you emotes though... Also, there are a lot more npcs with dialogues if you look for them in the devkit, but I've never seen them in game myself..

visby Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 I found the guy who teaches the wave emote, fortunately he didn't seem to mind me bashing him over the head once. So the placing of shrines does seem to be bugged in the current version. Tried placing a shrine this morning and even when I had a good location the game just wouldn't place the shrine. It did work in earlier versions.

But we could probably do with better, high res versions of skin textures. The nipples looks quite odd at this point.

This wouldn't be bad but I would like this to go a step further is there any way to make a mod were you can change the clothing/armor options of said Thrall for example if I wanted a dancer to be nude or have the zingaran dancer outfit could this be a possible to make or is this WAY out of the dev kits range?

The mechanic is that player one activates anywhere they want and it assigns them as the first person to be in position and "waiting". Then any one else comes along and activates in close proximity and they assume their partner. It'll align them and once both are "mounted", the looping fun animation starts. Any player can stop the loop and it will gracefully unmount in a reverse order. I still need to implment that. I also think I'm not going to auto unequip items, so if you want to have sexy time you need to take your clothes off yourself ha. Or leave some on... I still have to figure out how to allow the initiator to choose the animation, because the initiator, the player who will be "waiting", is the player who has control over what animation they'll be waiting in. So if player two wants to penetrate next time, they'll have to initiate it and then choose a penetrating animation. Hmm, I still have some thinking to do about that. But I like how any one can start and wait, then anyone else can mount and have some fun. Right now it's using an animation from http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/81267/, I'm planning on implementing the rest of the animations in there because they're simple and they have a start and loop animation stages. But they're just animations made for Skyrim so I could put in animations from any other Skyrim mod essentially. (Sorry for the potato quality gif) Do you make the animations with Blender or 3d Max or other program? If we can make animations with blender I would like to make some animations!!

I believe it is planned that you can "play dress-up" in the future and im excited for this it will be fun (not to mention much more RPossibilites). At least it is highly discussed from what i see. But in the meantime...how else shall i rise my naked amazons empire?

I am getting error message that multiple roots was found on model, but I can see only one root bone in the model. I am adding a screenshot of my hierarchy in blender and error message.P.S. I just tried to "build" one simple mod with one replaced model and I stopped "cooking" after ten minuts, because I am bored from waiting. Are you guys waiting so long to create just one simple mod or I am doing something wrong? I read on forum that some people wait an hour when "cooking" finish, but in this hour you can't do much on your PC since cooking take a lot of resources. For me it is just unbelievable that I need to wait a hour when I can create whole new armor mesh in this hour...
