Why in the world do you guys have sex mods for Sims 4 and 3?

I want to know why all you guys have these sex mods in your games. Do you install them because you always wondered how it will be like to have sex with your Sim girlfriend/bf or wife/husband? Boredom? For the lolz? Or are you a virgin and use Sims as a way to have sex?

 

For me I installed it because I always wanted to know how it would be like to have sex with female Sims I am attracted to that I created. I also love taking videography and taking photo’s if a video game let’s you. I just tried whicked wims for the 1st time about a week ago and it really turns me on seeing myself bang my Sim wife or girlfriends ahaha. Do you guys get aroused by this? Of course you shouldn’t substitute this for real women or whoever you like, but holy smokes shoutout to these great modders on here. Just wanted to know what everyone has this mod…

Lol I totally agree! For me, it has defiantly made the game more playable for me. Especially with the city livin

update it really feels like Im really city livin' if you know what I mean ;)

boredom is my main excuse I will also say  that I'm a bit of a pervert but lets face it the sims are suppose to be for fun whats  more fun than sex

I'm a Janeway/Chakotay romance 'shipper. I read lots of fanfic, watch videos, follow J/C Tumblr and Pinterest pages etc.  My main Sims 3 game allows me to have a J/C family - just the two of them, no kids (other than their neighbours Harry, Tom, Belanna, Seven, The Doc, Kes, Neelix who continually turn up at their house to bother them :D ).  I can direct their lives and adults have sex, so it's a more complete experience for me. It feels like I'm writing a fanfic when I play these characters, one where I'm TPTB and I decide what happens, so I get the happy ending I never got on the show.

 

My other game is the full-on "Brothel Trick"  experience. I have a really hi-class brothel run from their home by a male bi-couple.  I'm female, but I do find the male sex-anims especially beautiful -and arousing - to watch, but generally I don't control these Sims I just hit play and watch what happens. As they all have 'Super-Horney' motivations it can get really busy in there :)

For me it is because I like realistic gameplay. I don't know anyone who is rolling under the blanket while a sweet sound plays in the background, and then calls it sex, lol.

Because customizable porn, because online porn is obviously limited, and bacause other personal serious reasons I won't explain here (no, it's not because I'm some misfortuned guy who can't get laid - I have a very serious personal problem).

So yeah... for me, TS3 is a godsend, and that's why I would be really happy if L666 returns someday :/

I don't like the idea of something being done halfway, particularly if it's just because the developer is afraid of controversy.  Sometimes I even put mods that I will never actively use in a game, simply because it exists and I feel it is stupid that the developer didn't want to "expose" people to such things.   :dodgy:   (Great example: Hollywood-style sex scenes in the Mass Effect games, but with all the space-zippers and other bits that come with being fully clothed.  What's up with that?  Are they having sex or not?  Sex requires nudity.  At least Hollywood has the famous "L-shaped sheets" to pretend the actors are naked.  Another example: The Witcher "sex cards".  In the USA, they were censored because of ESRB requirements.  The rest of the world had uncensored, so CD Projekt Red helped create a patch to uncensor the USA version that way their original vision could be enjoyed by all.)

 

Or, as a shorter version: I believe art should have virtually no bounds.  There is always something of value to be found in any subject.

I agree. I don't like the idea of a concept being done halfway. Just like birth, and death in the sims, sex is another part of reality.

I agree as well. I like realistic gameplay and this make's my sims 4 experience so much more realistic.

couple of reasons.

1: if i'm playing a game wherein i'm supposed to be a real creature interacting with other real creatures and doing things that real creatures do, why would i not have genitals? how can i believe the "reality" part of "virtual reality" if there's no nudity, no sex, no murder/death, no aging, etc.

as much as i love World of Warcraft, Dungeons & Dragons Online, and other MMORPGs, they are lacking significantly when compared to Paper and Pencil RPGs. there are whole rule supplements dedicated to sex, aging, pregnancy, retiring from adventuring, etc. that make those games far more immersive than their digital counterparts and therefor, IMO, more enjoyable.

i know people who are in their 60s who have been playing WoW since it came out 12 years ago. their children and grandchildren play as well. what happens if these people die and leave their accounts to descendants? shouldn't the characters get old, have children, and die as well? it would be kind of bizarre to see a cute female dwarf that was originally made and played by someone who died 47 years ago and that dwarf hasn't aged a minute in over 60 years.

these kinds of mods add realism to games and thus make them a little more enjoyable for those who like their fantasy a little bit more life-like.

2: because we live in a world of rules, laws, and consequences, we really can't follow through on some of our darkest desires. additionally, after a decade or two of marriage, sex can become rather monotonous and boring. and age can have some rather undesirable effects on the body as well.
having these mods allows us to explore our dark sides without risking jail time, keep things a bit spicier in our relationships (especially if they play with you), and can act as a substitute for what the body no longer allows (watch a viagra commercial, they always tell you to talk to your doctor to see if you're healthy enough for sex)

 

3: because i A ) am a pervert who likes to watch; B ) am a control freak who likes being able to make the game world in my own image; and C ) am somewhat disturbed by the lack of nipples and genitals on Barbie dolls

 

what i'd love to see would be more stuff that emulates psychology. it's rather laughable, to me at least, to see a teen girl go from full red mood because she lost her virginity by being raped by her father to full green because she had a cheese sandwich and is pregnant as a result of that rape.
i mean... what the hell was in that sandwich, anyway?

Because playing a Sims game to me is often like 'living out' a fantasy life and my fantasy lives usually happen to include a lot of fucking.
