i got some problems, like... the CRX in MCM still say it is 2.0 even the Furniture - CRXX still have new cage. And other prob is assigned Settler still stand still before the CRXX item, i even choose pose and reset cell be teleport far enough that is loading screen that has "tip box".

Thanks for reading

The version was just not updated in MCM file. Regarding pose change not taking effect - try installing latest version then place brand new furniture to ensure it's initialised properly.

I was wondering if there was a way to hang the cages in the air.  I want to decorate my camp with hanging cages with raiders inside, but I have to build stairs to each one in order for the raider to actually get inside.  It kinda ruins the vibe I'm going for.

There is a hook that cage can hang on but if you put it too high NPC won't be able to get to the entry point of the cage so won't be able to enter it. There really isn't much that can be done about it other than placing some invisible floor under the cage so when NPCs are moved to the furniture they can stand on it and enter cage from there.

New version 2.4 has been uploaded.

IMPORTANT!

New version does no longer supports version 1.x and all 1.x content has been removed.

If possible load game before upgrading and remove all 1.x furniture, un assign all NPCs from 1.x furniture.

Uninstall previous version and remove all CRX files before installing version 2.4.

Read mod description for list of all new changes and please send a feedback.

Enjoy!

Also wondering the same. Can't finish Wabbajack installation without it. 😟

As per request I re-uploaded 2.2stable.

Could you share some more context with me why do you need it? I understand 2.2 is part of some mod list that you install automatically?

Does it mean you won't be able to upgrade to the latest version or do you just need 2.2 to install the list and then you can upgrade?

I recommend trying latest version!

2.2 Is part of the Wasteland of depravity mod list on Wabbajack. And with Wabbajack the list are compiled automatically hopefully we'll get an updated list soon with you're mod updated to the newest version as well.

Hey Oakern,

I am the dev of the mentioned Wabbajack modlist and I apologise that people here have harassed you for the older version. I hate that people do this and I feel it reflects badly on me, even though I specifically state to not bother mod authors for old versions as I don’t want to give you guys more work as that’s not fair on you.

I guess people have no patience to wait for me

to update my Wabbajack list to include your updated version of CRX.

Apologies again, hopefully there’s no hard feelings.

No patience is right it hadn’t even been updated a full day and the thread already had 7 post about it.

yes thats exactly what it means, the auto installer fails the installation process without the specific version of every mod it specifies. It's pretty neat, though, when it works as every setting for every mod is curated and patched to work together. The mod list I use from wabbajack has over 200 mods and is 180 gb. it has never crashed. its a marvel of modern (and lazy) modding. For your info though, the mod list creator from Wabbajack is releasing his 1,5 version of his mod pack this week and after that 2.2 wont be needed(probably). Now that its installed yes i can upgrade it and did! great work ❤️

Reporting an issue with 2.4, maybe it's just me, maybe others will be affected as well.

For reference, I'm still on pre-NG, 1.10.163.  Using MO2.

When I updated from 2.3 to 2.4, if I continued an old game it let me, and I got a pop-up window when I first entered the game telling me about the update.  When I tried to start a new game, I got an infinite black loading screen.  Once I reverted to 2.3, a new game started OK again.

It's all loose files, so it's not an archive issue for OG/NG.  Not sure what might be causing that.

Was 2.4 created or updated in NG Creation Kit?

Anyway, I can happily stick with 2.3 for the time being.  Thanks for your efforts!

What if you start new game without installing CRX at all and install 2.4 once you leave the vault?

OK, I tried a new game with no CRX installed until I got out of the vault, and it seemed to initialize OK, and the Just Business tie-in also seemed to initialize.

Just to be thorough, I then went back again and started a new game again with CRX 2.4 installed, and again the infinite black loading screen.

So something in the 2.4 update seems to be preventing a new game on pre-NextGen fron starting, but it runs once the game is going (either upgrading from 2.3 or a fresh install on an almost new game).

I also get the infinite loading screen when starting a new game, but I am on the NG version. (It's the loading screen before the opening cinematic.) Not sure what the mod conflict is with, and I doubt I'll take the time to troubleshoot it. I've just spent all day getting my mod list in order and I'm currently a bit tired of meddling with files. (I'm not running Just Business like travelmedic is, so that's not the conflict.)

Installing the mod after new game creation seems to work fine. I am also using MO2 much like travelmedic is.

@Oakern

Your infinite black loading screen . . .

Count 10 steamboats and press Enter, only you won't know what you agreed to.

It's a messagebox that is displayed behind current layer, this works for a number of mods.

Can't hurt to try it.

Hope this works for you.
