Yeah, they have the custom Nord hairs. A little tinkering with CK should give them better-looking hair, but don't forget to generate new facetints. There is a high possibility that they can get the dark head bug.

Is there an NPC tool I should be using for this particular situation? Right now just tried http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/17018 Easy NPC Creation but it crashes when I pick Elin. Edit: Working around it cause in game you can still save your current player's model and the normal character creation suite works fine. Going through the other mod's editing process so looks good for now.

There are some texture options, but no body options. The default Tera body is included in the main package. Also I replaced the Elin NPC and Enemy mod with an earlier version to fix the dark head bug affecting the Elin NPCs. The problem was the patched ElinRaceTaint.esm file. <<<<<<<<<<---+--->>>>>>>>>> @Maosama013 Apparently, there is a bug with the Elins and horses. I can't figure out what that problems is since mounting, riding, and dismounting by normal means is bug-free. @AsteriskCGY I might have what you are need. It's what was used to make the Elin NPCs and Enemies. When I find it I'll upload it.

Course, still trying to figure out how to change her appearance with just the example file. So gonna be a bit before I figure out how to change her race.

[/quote'] If I didn't have all these other projects that need to be done, I would give that mod a try. If you still want the Elin NPC creator, let me know, but yeah, try out the other one first. Of course there has to be someone in the comment section bringing up the whole "is this lore-friendly/this isn't lore-friendly" whine-n-dance.

AsteriskCGY Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Well looked like the Elin NPC mod was conflicting with the Companion's appearance so had to cut that out. And the Creation Kit doesn't automatically recognize Elin .npc imports. Guess I could just modify the model in CK itself. Just need to find where-- Found it. Got her into an Elin model in game. Now need to tie the other mods to get her to act right. Nvm, looks like the animation kicked in. Sweet

I can't get it to work properly with the Extended Colors Plugin Patcher, and I don't even know what file I am supposed to modify. When I modify files randomly, half the time showracemenu just crashes the game. My version is 1.6.89.0.6. I installed every Elin mod and addon in the original mediafire link. The only success I've had is modifying the ElinRace.esm, but all that does is add an extra "Elin" race so that I have 2 on showracemenu, and it only affects 1 Tera default hair, the default Skyrim hairs, and the Miku hair. The original "Elin" race in showracemenu has all the TERA hairs, Apachii, etc. with unchanged hair colors. Thanks in advance.

Now I can't wait to get home!

One of the hairs has a small baldspot, other than that, this would be a nice alternative to installing v1.4 + the patches. [/quote'] If you can find someone to help out then that would be great. There are two versions of the tails, though. One is larger than the other, but doesn't come with the ears. The voice samples are the same, the only difference is that I bundled them with the voice packs.

Specifically, there are two colors I want based on real hair colors from TERA; silver hair (white hair with a slight blue tint, NOT yellow-tinted or platinum blonde or too grey or too blue either, I'd like it mostly white-looking) and a light blonde hair. [/quote'] "...crashes after the screen loads when it's turned on." It sounds like you are missing required file, most likely Race Compatibility Improved. Also, if you still have these files, delete them: - CompanionsHouseKeepingScript.pex - PlayerVampireQuestScript.pex - PlayerWerewolfChangeScript.pex If you are using a mod that still requires them, you will have problems with the Elin mods. The non-standalone followers do not contain the required files because they were meant to be installed only if you already have the main Elin files pre-installed.

Hum, did a re-install of Race Compatability Improved, overriding the Elin Race files and it still crashes when I load a file where I took the Elin companions on. Hum, another test I just performed was I loaded a file before I formally asked any of them to be my companion, which happened to take place right before the Peace Council on Hrothgar. The moment the council ended, however, the game CTD. Caveat to this is before I updated the Elin race, around here is when I suddenly noticed rem was following me around, but not as a formal companion, because when I talk to her I have the same options as if she was still in Whiterun, including "Follow me." She would zone with me to places but technically was not in the party. Edit: Just beat the game and re-installed the companions. Looks like its working again. I guess because of the position of rem in Whiterun Keep is what's causing the conflict during the entire dragon capture arc.

A bit confused what to load here if i want to play Elin-race. loaded 1) Required Files (apachi) 2) NER Main Race Pack (01-newelinrace-main-2012dec08) 3) Custom Body + Texture Pack (ner_terabodypack) and 1st person view looked promising (low view as elin is supposed to be shortie) as started new game...Yet 3rd person view is something horrible. The body is strange and not at all like in your fine screenshots, and my char is as tall as others in 3rd person view. [/quote'] Hello RiQCrow Extract NER TeraBody Main and look for these 4 folders: 1) Options - 1st-person x0.8 2) Options - Height x0.8 Weapon x0.8 3) Options - Height x0.8 Weapon x1.0 4) Options - Height x1.0 Weapon x1.0 These are the skeletons that affect her height and camera perspective. You have the 1st-person skeleton installed that is why 1st-person is at a child's height. You need to install one of the skeletons from the folders labeled 'Height x0.8' to make her smaller during 3rd-person view. - Height x0.8 Weapon x0.8 or - Height x0.8 Weapon x1.0 Weapon scale (the size of the weapon when equipped) can be normal size (Weapon x1.0) or scaled down to match the small Elin (Weapon x0.8). So if you want your Elin to be small with normal scale weapons, install this: Height x0.8 Weapons x1.0 If you want your Elin to be small with smaller weapons, install this: Height x0.8 Weapons x0.8 CRAP!!! After re-reading your post it looks like you did not install the Tera body, but the 'ner-terabodypack' threw me off. Ignore what I previously said and let's start from the beginning. Which body are you using, CBBE, UNP, or Tera Body?

[/quote'] I'm guessing installing Rem during that stage of the main story is what caused the problems. I don't really understand why unless she has to be in the game before you reach the dragon capture quest (forgot the dragon's name; been some months since I completed the main story).
