Hmm... On the other side if I had shortened animation in Blender and kept the same framerate, It would have played movement faster in general. I think you would have to play around with animation length and see how the final resault is affected by that.

Yeah, I'll probably just have to tinker with it until it works right.  For now though, we are going to focus on getting the alpha ready for release.  It's looking pretty good, might even be good enough to be released this weekend. Let's hope.

Fingers crossed :)

Well, there is going to be a little delay.  Spike is having some RL issues, which are slowing down the release.  Probably the end of March instead.

His car broke down, his job is giving him trouble, things like that.  Also, don't forget that we are working on several projects not just the centaurs.  For example, while I was messing with the centaur 1 hand animations, I made an octopus(will be coming out in the next update of BoT), I tinkered with the whales some more and have started some work on making the snow whales an actual actor that people can make into a "snow whale hunting" mod.  We are almost finished with a Grahl mod as well.  We stay kind of busy.

Update: Well, Spike is currently running tests and everything is looking good.  Still not sure when the alpha release will be, but it should be no later than the end of this month, hopefully sooner.

Although you have been more than willing to give us details on the progress of what is happening with the mods, do you think it would be OK to show us with a video any time soon?

Lol, I have the series and the enough specs to record the game in ultra settings

But i don't have mod nor files for it

Sorry all was reformatting my harddrive to hopefully fix some of my lag issues.  It did some, but not others.  Anyway, I have a 2011 gateway sx2855. I believe part of the problem is that the computer is getting old.  I'm getting the funds together to buy the parts to build a better rig, but that takes a little time.  I should be picking up the animation work for the centaurs again here in a week or so. Hopefully, by that time Spike will be done with the mod cleaning and we'll have the centaur alpha up for everyone then.

Spike says he's working on a texture to give the males a more hirsute appearance, I'm pretty sure we'll have the alpha release up by the end of the month.  Now, as a warning, because we have only done the 1hand animations and a couple of the MT animations, there will be lots of times that the horse half goes static.  I'm about to start work on hammering out the MT animations and it should make for a lot smoother transitions between animations.

It's possible, even something I considered - though centaurs might take offense to it.  But as of the moment, I haven't figured out how to combine the human/mer behaviors with the horse one.  And since our focus is on making a playable version, we are trying to get that done.  By the way, update time.  We have tried (spike) to upload the alpha release 3 times, but nexus has failed.  We don't know what's going on there, but I sent him a message to just send me the stuff he's cleaned up and I'll try to upload the mod. I haven't heard back from him yet, so, we'll see.

Okay, the Tsaesci are still in the works, but with all the things going on our end, it's on hold for the time being.  Also, Spike sent me the cleaned up mod to check to see if it's working.  It is mostly and so I don't have to repeat myself again, here is the message I sent to him after getting it to load. Okay, I've re-packed the mod and I've noticed a few issues.  First, if you are in first person view(as you would be doing a new game) then go into racemenu the centaur will be off center.  I'm not sure how to fix this.  Was this a problem that your giant race mod had to deal with? Second, I don't know if it's just my skyrim or what, but the vanilla start goes into an endless loop when they start moving the player centaur to the execution block.  Also, the centaur is too big to fit into the cell for the alternate start mod.  So, not sure what we can do for the start of a game.  Third, and this one might be the biggest issue and again, might just be my rigs low settings, but the player character centaur fades in and out of view.  And fourth, for some reason the male behavior is off.  They almost seem to be using female behaviors and in the CK(this might have something to do with the reformatting of my hard dirve) says that the male behavior isn't set up correctly.  This is more than odd.  But otherwise everything is working like it should."
