wishnot4 Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Hey guys, if I'm right, I've fixed the collision issue that made moving indoors impossible. I just sent the fix to spike for him to test it out. If it works, he'll be updating the mod page soon.

There is still a ton of animations to make not to mention a few issues that I still haven't worked out - for example, why the centaurs can't do the vanilla start. They can do(as far as I've seen) all the alternate starts, but they can't do the vanilla one. I'm going to start(soon) a Havok/animation tutorial on one of our other ideas. We came up with this idea on how to make several creatures in game that haven't really been featured yet. For example, the spider-daedra(and yes I know there is a mod that adds one but the human half does nothing). What the idea is, I will create a skeleton mash up of the draugr and the spiders that way I don't have nearly as many animations to make as I do for the centaurs and with a few tweaks the draugr can use the regular human body mesh. If I'm not mistaken, the only real tweak would have to be to the head since the draugr head has more bones than the regular character head. I actually have a huge list of projects that we are working on - too many to list here. But a small taste, Beasts of Tamriel V4, Gorgon/Tsaesci tails, snow whales, draugr mash-ups.

Yeah, there is some issue with the cart if you use the alternate start and then go into the vanilla start option through it. And the beheading scene is where it goes to crap if you are using the vanilla start only. But why? I can't figure it out yet. I'll keep tinkering with it.

I'll keep tinkering with it. by default that part of the game is in first person view only, so there may be some sort of first person only animation that the game is trying to load there, and i'm not sure if the beheading scene is 2 animations playing at the same time or 1 animation like the killmoves (2 actors in one HKX)

wishnot4 Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 Okay all, I know now that the issue with the vanilla opening is due to the first person animations. It seems that I haven't figured out how to assign the race to use its own first person stuff yet. So, it is having some confusion issues in that area. It is trying to use the 3rd person skeleton as a 1st person skeleton. Hopefully, the Havok expert who taught me how to do all this will be able to straighten me out on it.
wishnot4 Posted May 17, 2017 Posted May 17, 2017 Hello all. I've recently started work on the Havok tutorial, making a spider daedra. No, it will not be a playable race. With the amount of work I still have to do on the centaurs, the eventual mermaid race, and all the other projects going. Spike and I have decided to limit our playable races to what we've already made and the one or two we already said we would make(mermaids for certain). This way we can limit the number of animations I have to make. Wish us luck.
wishnot4 Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Don't know if you all are still following this thread or not, but fore recently released a patch for the centaur mods. Not sure what all that intells but at least now you can use the centaurs and FNIS, maybe it also means you can create animations out side of the existing ones. Never could wrap my head around FNIS.

This is because A) I'm having a little trouble getting back into the swing of animations again. B ) working on the Havok project tutorial for the spider daedra. C) Having some slight health issues - blood pressure is out of wack. I have managed to make a new animation, but that is terribly slow going.

wishnot4 Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Thanks, I have already managed to drop my blood pressure several points. But still not at the level that is best. Also, update, I've made all the sneak turn animations, onto the sneak move and attack. There are something like 20 different sneak animations, so, I'm hoping I can have them all done by the end of the month, maybe spike will think that is enough animations to make an update to the mod.
