Posted this one in a blog thread, but it's nice enough, I thought I'd repost it here.

Using Community Shaders and Terrain Shadows. There's a sliver of daylight coming over the moutains and it's just lighting up the top of that rock outcrop.

 

 

... and randomly picking out bit of the pine tree without lighting the whole tree of course. So maybe it's something else. Still a nice view.
