The first time we arrive in Windhelm, she is alive.
After that you have to visit the town four times and then she is dead.
And there are mods to save her I think.

The author of the video could very well have used the player.placeatme command

oh you mean her appearance? if so im just using the TBD body and pure skin texture and for the face im using high poly head and the mod botox
