I have an idea that could go with your update. What is needed is when a monster attacks you and your health is 5% or 10 you capture it for you fertilize and do not kill you for this monster because you are very interesting. I also think it might be the same for factions or enemy raiders but not for you but to make you seconding. One could agree with a key to get to the enemy not to die but it would be a slave and sold by one faction or keep this one. I know what you think but it may be very interested.

Some good old classic human knocking the PC up might not be too bad of an idea. Ambush by raiders, legions, etc. It is relatively easy to find a camp for them.

There is sort of a Deathclaw nest in Quarry Junction so I guess Deathclaw might be kind of easy to do.

Ghoul and Mutants can create another interesting scenario with some back ground about them trying very very hard to reproduce.

lol fantastic. While writing up the OP I also thought I could use the message notifier system in the top left to sort of act as a way to display the thoughts of the playing during her ordeal.

I am actually rather fond of this idea, the character/thoughts of the PC, while arguably, is up to the player to decide, sometimes different experiences and situations are just better to have a clearer direction on how the PC is actually reacting.

As the player you know full well what is going to happen when you install a mod most of the time, walking into an ambush knowingly just sort of kills the tone.

Theres also a Deathclaw nest in a cavern south of Harpers Shack, and another grouping of them (dunno if its a full on nest) at a railyard north of the lake Camp Golf is on. Cazadore nests are everywhere. Nighstalkers nest in a cave just east of the road to Mojave Outpost and a cave near Jacobstown among others.

Love the idea of my character being captured and filled :) hehe I may be one who likes the P7 and being hampered.

but as for messages, I hope there will be an option to not have messages for this and general pregnancies. Would be awesome if sound effects, animations, and moving bellies would be your messages to tell you whats about to happen.

This is gonna be a amazing mod.

Being taken by Legions and that, i don't think would fit in well with the idea of the mod. It fits in more with scorpions and other creatures, that run on instinct and reproduce multiple young. But it wouldn't hurt to have feral ghouls and super mutants in the mix.

The seeing what the PC is thinking message thing. I would say not to put too much information into it. Just simple stuff like "Your stomach fells bigger" or "Your feeling sore" something simple like that.

Yeah I'll keep it simple. I might put it on a toggle as well so you can turn them off if you don't like them. There have been a ton of good ideas so far. It's mostly going to be creatues but I might do some fun things with humans as well. Eventually that is.

I think creatures is probably best to focus on right now, there's a lot of human based plugins, but nothing really in the way of creatures.

If you need a hand with anything, give me a shout as well. I have done quite a bit of geck related stuff in the past. (mostly for Oblivion, but it's barely changed :) )

Sounds great! From what is written on the OP, breeder is a good name too. The motivation for the critters involved is not about sex but about breeding. I would go easy on human involvement. The tryout plugins and sewerslave cover capture through humans and use for sex very good already. Pregnancy is more or less a byproduct of the goings on.

I would prefer it if breeder followed more of a biological imperative for critters and perhaps a semi-scentific approach for supermutants (a lab and weird experiments to cure mutants infertility).

For human capture I see some possibilities in a new faction of some badly inbred tribals/recluses that need some new blood. Dunno if someone here played jagged alliance 2. In a sidemission there's some farm with a bunch of retards where you can marry one of your female chars off to them and they keep her in a barn afterwards, since they don't mind shagging the cows but a human female is cool to have for the kids that can be made. Somethig like that could fit pretty well in new vegas.

As for the messages, those are ok if they are descriptive as beyound mentioned. But they should not reflect the players feelings. As was said before, some of our heroines will enjoy their role as breeders, some will hate it and try to escape others might move from one state to the other and back. I suggest to leave that to the players imagination.

It could work up to a point though, if there were different messages/dialogues that change depending on the players reactions. Say you get captured by some scorpions and reaize what is going to happen, you can then choose to partake, submit or struggle. Depending on the choice messages of an eager, submissive or reluctant nature turn up. It would require far more writing though and perhaps even then would not fit every taste:)

I would agree on human involvement.

One wacky idea from me is encountering a group of intelligent alpha male Deathclaws. They would capture you (Giving you the chance to willingly give your body to be bred. Or to try to escape and be raped, having to escape before giving birth?)

Maybe a sub option to giving yourself to them, is to use a speech test(or brood-mother perk or similar) to get all the alpha males to breed with you, risking having crippled legs(from the matings) and a risky P7 pregnancy with many Deathclaw eggs?

Maybe in return for doing that, they become friendly, stop raping others, and gives you an option to return to them to be bred more?

:)

after I get a very basic version of the scorpion nest working I intend for a deathclaw den next. And I like the idea of having the ability to first submit or resist.

Had a bit of a thought regarding some of the dangerous pregnancy stuff.

Perhaps tie the brood mother perk to the ability to survive birth of the more dangerous critters. Progress to the perk would be made after each birth and acquiring it would allow the player to give birth the Cazadors and other dangerous critters, as well as unlock the P7 size.

Sort of brings to the front that by acquiring this perk your character is basically a womb to be filled at all times :)

Anyone rough idea on a eta? :D I know impatient but it sounds so good.

Could be a week at the earliest. Depends entirely on my work load. I've coded simple games in C++ before so I know I'm capable of learning this.

I hope to have a scorpion in a cave that you can fuck in a few days. Gotta start somewhere :P

Thinking like that, would the perk give some other benefits that would be handy for normal playing while your character is pregnant? Perhaps some very slight penalties while you're not?

Definitely could be a good idea. A straight reward while the player is pregnant would encourage them to be as much as possible, which is fitting with the whole brood mother idea.

Perhaps a penalty to each stat except charisma while not pregnant as well.

Nothing too overpowered, but also not such that it makes getting the perk a bad thing.

Obviously at P7 something to offset the loss of mobility.

I metioned in the tryout thread an idea about such an encounter but it might be more suitable here:

A doctor (ncr or followers) that sends you to a a lab without knowing what would happen, the player then ends up in a monster breeding lab.

Or the player agrees to let her voluntairly impregnated in such a lab.

The player will have to return each time she's near birthing, to give birth and (eventually) get impregnated again.

not bad. You should try thinking on it a bit and fleshing it out a little more. The general vibe i'm getting from everyone is they want this to be mostly non human focused. Perhaps the doctor sends you to a lab of ghouls or something?

I might need writers for some dialogue eventually. If anyone wants to volunteer let me know either here or in a pm and when the time comes I'll have a pool of people I can pull from to write conversations.

I've had ideas for a human base version of this for a while now. My idea was based more around a new faction, NCR doesn't really seem the type for a breeding lab, and the legions refusal to use drugs and be overly reliant on tech limits them a bit.

I think focusing on creature though is a good start for now. There isn't really much else you can do with them quest wise. While a human faction can encompass slavery, prostitution and the like, creatures are pretty much motivated solely by breeding.

Well it depends on how you want to approach the encounter. Maybe with a certain progression: First ghoul then for example a Gecko, then a Spore and ending with deathclaw? (I saw a thread that had an amazing deathclaw .nif file, which might be very interesting to use, as the current version we have doesn't really have something).

Or

You could for example make it depending on how rude the player is towards the doctors. Rude behaviour: worst impregnation.

Well what I mainly had in mind was:

Having both scenarios: Forced and volunteering

Now it is up for a discussion which one would be volunteer and which one would be forced.

I thought about NCR doctor asking the player to go to a ghoul doctor which will end up in the 'forced' scenario. Then again we have the option: Let the ghoul doctor impregnate the player first with his own seed and then starts impregnation of the player with other creatures, or you can let him start his research first and end the whole scenario with his own impregnation. Of course the first option would be better if you intend to make it infinitely repeatable.

I would opt for the first, where the doctor impregnates you first but because he tested so many chemicals on him that his seed mutated and made the player somehow dependant on him (which will kinda force the player to return to him). This will allow the doctor to do what ever he wants with the player.

The other scenario would be: The player goes to the Followers and after a certain discussion one of the doctors would ask the player a favour. To help them do researches on crossbreeding and send you to one of those lairs of those creatures.

Or (this is what I prefer): The followers send you to a lair of a creature to investigate on their "life-style" but then the player gets ambushed. (This is a scenario which you can mix with the ideas already posted by other people).

These are scenarios of course.

If you seek for for example perks, what do you think of:

- A perk that increases creatures approach towards the player?

EDIT:

I read about the idea of the lair. As I presume you'll have multiple scenarios there. One interesting might be where the player is kinda trapped to live between those creatures, eat what they have to offer the player and use her as breeding tool. And to maybe spice it up, let the player get a perk 'Creature dependency" (which will force the player to return to the lair to avoid a negative effect of being away from the lair for to long

Perks:

- Deathclaw Dependency

- Ant Dependency

- Scorpion Dependency

- Gecko Dependency

- ...

Drawback would be: if you're dependant on every creature the player might be travelling all the time between the lairs to avoid negative effects. Unless we make this like "sexout lust", dependency will rise and will only rise from the moment the player isn't pregnant from a creature anymore. Unless you want that the player keeps going to the lair (even while being pregnant). Since creatures are only thinking about breeding, I think some creature shouldn't be aware if the player is pregnant and just try to breed her even if she's already pregnant.

Something simple and semi-realistic might be that a PC who has been impregnated in the past, acquires an affinity or "scent" for the nest, where they will no longer be attacked by that particular species. However, they still risk the danger of being captured and used again when mating season is on.

Additionally, when the female is highly gravid (very pregnant) she'll be unable to escape the nest until she gives birth. This combo might be an easy work-around to how the PC gets out of their situation; they'll have to wait till they give birth, and escape with the nest's scent on them, but not during pregnancy.

Which during the PC escape has a chance to get bred again?

At least for scorpions I'm planning on having all scorpions in the cave become friendly unless you get too close to the exit. And since you'll only be able to walk during the large stages, it'll pretty much mean your death if you try to escape.

Once you give birth they'll be friendly towards you for a few hours allowing you ample time to escape. Unless someone has a better idea how to handle the escape.

Couple of questions, are you planning on having the other NPC in the nest, and what are you doing about the pregnancy length? Longer pregnancies set in the options are fine when you're able to play normally and the pregnancy progresses as you play. Being trapped in a nest for that long may be a bit boring and necessitate a lot of waiting.
