The answer to both, is that PLUGIN ORDER is also important, and those have a relatively hard limit (compared to meshes, textures, etc).

And, savefiles are very sensitive to changing the PLUGIN order, but not really sensitive to changing the other things like meshes textures etc.

LOOT and the right-side pane of MO2, deal with plugins - ESP, ESM, and ESL (and ESP-FE if that's different than ESL iono).

 

To avoid most of "orderly-problems" use common sense... group your mods on the left side. Here is my order, which I am playing over a decade now without most order-problems:

 

1) optimized textures for all DLC

2) general patches, then general bugfixes

3) modders resources, then general utilities

4) UI changing modes

5) models & textures for landscapes, caves, cities and mods doing the same (first textures as group, then mods as group)

6) all immerson related stuff

7) all visuals (and all enb-stuff if you found "your" favourite ENB)

8) general animation stuff like FNIS and basic animations

9) models and textures for body, warpaints

10) hair-mods

11) your presets

12) city-mods (like Arthmoor-series and JK's Skyrim

13) player homes, locations (new land-mods or castles)

14) quest-mods

15) new races like Lunari, Ningheim and so on)

16) gameplay changing mods but some overhauls are better in another group (like vampire-mods or similiar)

 

Since these mods are mostly unchanged you will have a stable loadorder, so far.

 

17) all Sexlab mods in similiar install-order ( basic like frameworks, ZAP, DD-mods; all animation-mods, player homes and new locations, quests, gameplay-mods, sexlab weapons/armour, sexlab companions

 

18) nexus weapon-/armour-mods

19) companion/follower-mods

20) npc-changing mods (here you can put also a group for your playstyle like vampire-mods, succubus, wenches-mods and so on)

21) sensibel questmods you want to override all above

22) alternate start mods

23) utilities like xpms, papyrus-utilities, RDO, DynDOLOD-stuff

24) your bodyslide meshes, skse-saves from mods, presets, enb-fixes

25) DynDOLOD results as mod

26) FNIS output as mod

 

With a mod-install-order like this it is easy to install new stuff and even merging inside these groups (for example i am handling over 1392 mods installed with 222 active on the right side thanks to good merging)

 

The best effect, if you group your "installing" is, that you will gain a "feeling" for bad-behaving-mods or what went wrong inside Skyrim (not the bandit at the next corner)

 

LOOT and FNIS is much more stable, if you work with grouped install-order on the left side, too

What should I do to have my character look like this:

I know this is Chaurus Queen. I don't know how to achieve this look with ModOrganizer. Which files from alternate assets and how to replace them using MO2?

I'm guessing that the spell is coming from behind the character and so its hitting you before it hits the enemy.  I sometimes hit myself with my own arrows and fireballs when I aim into the sky, so that's my best guess.

 

Or maybe, the enemy is getting instantly infected and you're being attacked by their spriggan armor?

Have this problem too, any ideas?

I haven't found a solution yet.

 

My hope was to see what magic/status effect represents this automatic attack, and then add a condition so that it does 0 damage to my own character. ( for example make it so that it cant hurt any NPC in the faction "dragonborn" so that it couldn't damage me.) I just made that faction up as an example, not sure what the official name is.

I was wondering, I use Sexlab Parasites, Forgotten Wenches, and the UUNP Falmer Bikini armor. All three I believe use the Falmer Bikini armor, the question is are all of them inter-dependent on each other or does one of these mods have all the armor and lore attached to it. Its just I'm finding a lot of bikini duplicates in my bodyslide loadout, and I was thinking how do I get the lore of both Sexlab Parasites and Forgotten Wenches without having three versions of Falmer Bikini Armors in bodyslide?

Hi! I have the same problem as ppl above - MCM doesn't work, when my character gets infected I get the notification but nothing changes, no visible parasites. It started to look like this after the last update. I was using the mod before and everything worked just fine.

Does anyone have mirror of prev version or a solution to this problem? :c

Any help appreciated.

So... Yeah. I have found the previous version on my other computer and instaled it instead. Everything works just fine. Mod list, load order, everything the same but with the older parasites.

I think it`s a plug and that is called  ( Sexlab Parasities.esp )  so far i have yet too  find it  

 

Well it sure did not work after i found out that Master Plug i`ll just leave it to the Author of this Mod???     on the side note to this it works but with no Textures of  live armor...which could use that with the this... https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/103194?tab=files&file_id=1000320023&nmm=1

That sound`s like a winner"    But !!  Now i have Inviseable Texture`s  only head`s up Like Living Armor giving Me a Shock Jolt thro my Body  and im not thwe only one

So, I am also facing the issue with the parasites and animated parasite mod where the parasites, namely for me facehuggers, chaurus, and spider eggs, are appearing on the ground or not at all.  I would like to mention that I am using vortex and I have followed the aforementioned advice of manually changing the plugin and load order of the XP skeleton, parasites, and animated parasites. The farthest I have gotten is having from top to bottom in plugin order

XP->sexlab parasites -> animated parasites

 

with the above one I was able to get the mouth of the character to open as if the facehugger was there, but it was on the floor. variations though where the skeleton was on the bottom of those 2 caused the parasites to just be on the floor, and without animated parasites they just didn't appear.

hey i was wondering if this was a bug with the spriggan parasite's textures on se or is this something wrong with my own game would any of you guys know how to fix this?

I have searched this topic for answers to my problem, but have come up short.

 

Some quick info:

 

Quest stage is at _SLP_QST_QueenOfChaurus 290

 

About 12 days have passed in game (no I did not just sit around waiting, I cleared several quest...)

 

Nothing "equiped" as far as Chaurus queen armor items (no Vaginal Chaurus queen, no nothing.)

 

I hear something called "flares" are supposed to be happening. I'm not sure what that is practically (IE. a visual graphic effect or animation my char triggers) but I have not noticed any thing.

 

So far other items/armor trigger just fine; Example the "normal" Vaginal Chaurus worm and Anal worm have triggered before.

 

Sure I could set _SLP_QST_QueenOfChaurus to 300 and trigger the next part, but I am sure that will break things event more. (I did not use the console to get to this part of the quest I'm stuck on.)

 

So basically I'm stuck waiting for the seed to work it's magic and then I gather I'm to talk to her about my "transformation" but so far nothing.

 

Any help would be a godsend. Thank you!

not sure if this has been asked allready but 90% of the time i fast travel my brood is auto deployed against my will regardless of wether i have call them forth or not, (they just spawn in) and obliterate any npc in the area is this a setting ive missed or is there something bugged? and if it is a setting can it be disabled. cheers

the flares are an event that in that part of the quest should slowly add bits of the 1st stage charus queen body(skin)/armour and some protrusions around the belly and chest. flares also effect other stuff later on. there is an mcm option for the flares where i think smaller number means shorter time scale (every thing occurs faster) but i could be wrong, if nothing is happening try playing around with the flare setting or double checking that its been built in bodyslide, or not overridden by something like savetats wich could effect the skin overlay or being hidden by devious divices device hider (if you have DD), other than that not sure maybe try getting "taken" by a chaurus incase it is a bit stuck or talking with danica or any other relevant npc tho see if there was a missed dialogue or one that didnt prompt properly , wich might prompt it to update idk. hope that helps

I cant finish quest: "Go back to the Sanctuary and talk to the Elder Roots". When i talk to the roots, the game closes.

Also I still have: "Explore the fort and recover lab notes from Alicia Du'Skrimall (previous occupant of the fort)" quest, even thou I have completed this part, else I would not have been able to free the elder tree. Is there some command to force me to the next stage ignoring this one so I would not have to reinstall the mod and start again?

@DeepBlueFrog I've done a full reinstall a number of times now and i can't seem to get any of the parasites to work. after checking the file content i noticed that it was missing all the script files. could you please fix this if this is in fack the problem or give me some advice on how to fix it. (i did a full clean for the reinstalls, using skyrim LE, and installed only the required mods).

Hey, first of all, this mod is amazing!

Unfortunately I have a problem that, as far as I've found, has only been mentioned once and didn't have a fix that worked for me. The problem being that the Chaurus armour, when you first unlock it after mating with a Chaurus, won't properly equip for me. I've attached a video that shows what exactly happens, but essentially the armour appears to equip once for a brief moment and then unequips itself. The game also won't acknowledge that I'm wearing the armour when it unequips again. I could progress, going through the dialogue while the armour is equipped, but I'm unsure if I need to wear the armour again after. I forgot to show it in the video, but the MCM also doesn't solve the issue.

 

And I have fixed the issue, the problem was in that my feet were arched from the devious training mod. That prevented me from wearing the armour itself and by allowing you to still wear normal shoes when having arched feet got it fixed for me.

Hi, I'll say right away that I have a problem with body morphs and parasites do not affect the growth of the abdomen or chest in any way.
 

For more than a year (or more than two) I periodically make attempts to install this mod on Skyrim. The mod is being installed. The belly is not growing. This is despite the fact that I have XPMSE. I have tried many things, I have already tried everything: I installed the mod before installing XPMSE, I installed the mod after installing XPMSE, I tried different versions of skeletons, I even tried with old XP32, I tried everything, but the result is the same. Nothing. Nothing changes: there are no bodymorphs. I fulfill all the requirements for bodymorphs, but they don't work.
 

Perhaps you can advise me something? Will you help me with solving this problem?

And yet, bodymorphs don't work for me in a global sense. None of the mods can change the size of the chest or abdomen, including SexLab Parasites. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Maybe I'm putting mods in the wrong sequence? If so, and some of you have this mod working, and bodymorphs are working in your assembly, then would you tell me how you achieved this?

First, could you tell us which version of skyrim and SKSE you're using?

 

Also  do body morphs ever work for you in others mods? ( milk mod economy for example.)
