MadGenuis Posted October 22, 2016 Author Posted October 22, 2016 I'm aware of that and encountered the event many times prior to starting a new game after the recent update, and I have previously both been told about it by the mother and even gone with them and been surprised by them leaving when I hadn't checked. What I have observed after the update is different, though; before there was a system and predictability as to when and how they would disappear, whereas now it seems a bit more inconsistent. I have observed the family leaving at various times of the day rather than the usual one - even on days when I had checked in with the mother in advance and established that they were not planning to go - and at times I even think they have left on a Sunday, whereas they normally leave on Saturday. I've also noticed a loosely associated bug where Anya will stay back if she has scheduled time in the room with Roma, only to leave for the grandparents' immediately after.
soulcleave Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 have you trie crusader king 2? theres a plethora of normal and adult mods. it may seem much, but you can dump so many fricking hours in that game
Kerny Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Aside from that I tried Abandoned: A Tale of Forgotten Lives again (realizing only now that I had forgotten to tell the game to run as administrator, which solved the issue I mentioned in a previous update) and got it to sort of work. I stress sort of, as the game now starts and runs as intended, only to crash about a minute or so into the game, with the game becoming entirely unresponsive and the system deciding that it's not working and shutting it down. This has happened no matter how low I set the graphics quality, so I'm quite frankly at a loss concerning how to get past it. (I did try to run it with half textures, but really, that shouldn't be an issue... I have 16 GB RAM, I shouldn't run out pretty much no matter what I'm trying to run.) Regarding AATOFL... Can you please send me the output.txt file in the DATA folder after the game crashed ? I would like to know what causes the crash 0.o
MadGenuis Posted October 23, 2016 Author Posted October 23, 2016 Oh, of course. Uh... hmm... I presume you mean "output_log.txt" rather than "output.txt"? Because I have one of the former, but not the latter. Eh, I guess I'll just put it here... once I figure out how to attach a file to a post... ... There we go, that wasn't so hard (once I hit the button for more options). Hope it proves helpful somehow. output_log.txt
Licki Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 I don't know if it's still going, but i imagine it is... there's an old MMO called "Sociolotron" that is privately run. It's safe to trust and costs $15 a month to play but it's neat to experience at least once. Graphics are way dated but not terribly awful and it blends graphical MUD elements with full graphics. The combat system includes sex/rape elements (it's possible to fuck someone to death) as well as an STD/disease system that is easy to circumvent (you can only have one disease at a time, and diarrhea is considered a disease. Stage 1 diarrhea has no performance impact on your character and amounts to nothing more than a random emote about abdominal discomfort and through use of meds you can maintain stage 1. Eat some bad food when you start the game and you're safe from more serious diseases). The community was pretty nice when I played and there's a surprising amount of depth to the game, including an Heir based system. When you die, if you bore an heir, you can play as your child all grown up. otherwise, your game continues as your character wakes in hell and it's possible to get back to the main world of the game as a demon.
MadGenuis Posted October 24, 2016 Author Posted October 24, 2016 I did try Crusader Kings 2 on a friend's Steam once (without mods), but I never really got into it enough to warrant getting the game myself and investing more time in it. My experience with the game is admittedly very limited, but what little I did see struck me as pretty confusing (though many things probably are until one learns the mechanics; heck, looking back just on this thread I've described several different games as such that I now find pretty straightforward) and not really all that entertaining. A medieval politics simulator, pretty much. I'm also somewhat confused as to how adult content could even be implemented into the game since I don't recall it going into detail with a whole lot of things, but obviously there is some merit to it that I've missed since it just takes a glance at the titles of the threads in the Adult Gaming section here to realize that there really are a lot of adult mods for it. I recall my initial interest in the game being sparked mainly by the fact that incest was permitted, reviving my old ambition from The Sims 3 to create the most messed up family tree ever seen. It may be worth another look, though, even if I don't immediately leap to purchase the game. Sociolotron, eh? Generally speaking I tend to stay away from multiplayer adult games (it's not by chance that the two Nutaku games I've tried are ones that don't require interaction with other players), partly due to bashfulness (which I guess has no place here) and partly just due to my tastes being so relatively tame compared to what most people appear to look for in adult games. It's the same issue I have with finding suitable adult games in general, really, since adult content usually tends to cater to extremes that I don't necessarily approve of, let alone find attractive. Even looking at what I've written here, despite where I'm writing and what I am writing about, I find myself trying to distance myself from the nature of it through the use of primarily clinical and neutral terms. Another thing I tend to avoid like the plague are games with subscription based business models... it's just too stressful, somehow. That said the game does sound as though it's based on an interesting concept. I'm not really a fan of the idea that you can kill someone through continuous sex, nor do I like (though its inclusion was probably unavoidable) the inclusion of rape, but that aside I find the implied continuity of the game refreshing, particularly in regard to the system handling what happens when a character dies; it's not often that you encounter a game where you actually die when you die without being able to turn back time to before doing so (also known as loading a previous save). In the meantime I've gotten started on Loki's Corruption, and the first thing that struck me about the game was that it reminded me a lot of The Last Sovereign (though I guess some semblance is unavoidable when the same engine and many of the same assets are used), and not only in good ways. It has done some of the same things that I liked about TLS, but also has some of the same things that I dislike, most notably in relation to the main character. In TLS I always thought the intro to the game was genius because it very clearly portrayed Kai, the temporary main character, as a completely unlikable asshole, and Simon as the sensible mentor who, true to common tropes, I presumed would be the one to guide the main character to be a better person... only surprise! Kai dies and Simon is revealed to actually be the main character. However, Simon got a lot less likable (to me) a little further into the game, revealing how promiscuous he and his wife were and soon willingly resorting to murder to accomplish things that could easily have been achieved through simple theft or extortion. It's all for the sake of the plot, I know, but I could never really bring myself to like Simon. Loki, on the other hand, strikes me as being a character with very few redeeming qualities to him, readily getting in a fight with his wife over wanting to go adventuring and making arguments like "I get to have sex with that woman first! You guys don't know how hard it is, being with just one woman!", which is really just... well, offensive, to be honest. Interestingly enough I found Loki's abrasive personality more disturbing than the dark themes you warned against, which I'm personally somewhat shocked to admit weren't as bad as I thought they would be. You'd think that rape, murder and dismemberment would rank fairly high in terms of dark themes, right? Might just have been the way it was portrayed, lacking true weight and severity, in fact making light of it and turning it into a joke, but it could have been worse. The gameplay seems pretty straightforward and the plot (so far) passable, if a bit predictable (even though I could plainly tell that you were supposed to lose that one fight I still made every effort to struggle as much as possible just on pure principle), so I think I'll continue with it and see how it goes. I just wonder why the main character of adult games always has to be such a dick... (EDIT: Forgot to mention, perhaps ironically, that I do understand Swedish (though not well enough to speak/write it) so I think I actually understand more about the game than I'm supposed to sometimes...)
Kerny Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 Oh, of course. Uh... Mh.. this is weird. There are no critical errors inside and compared to mine (i attached it) it looks like it just aborted the game without a error. Mh.. you could try to copy it to another game folder , a more simple one but i doubt that this would help. Maybe the command line -force-d3d9 helps.. maybe don't know xD So many unknown bugs.. ~_~ output_log.txt
MadGenuis Posted October 27, 2016 Author Posted October 27, 2016 I tried moving AATOFL to a location with a shorter path, but aside from the game inexplicably crashing on startup the first couple of times after doing so (an issue that fixed itself after a few tenacious attempts) it seems that nothing changed. I played some more Loki's Corruption since last update, and thus far it has managed to confirm several of the suspicions I had about the game (such as why Loki was referred to as "she" during the recommendation of the game), and while the game is still pretty entertaining overall I do feel very distinctly aware of just how linear it actually is, namely in that my natural reaction to a game ever telling me to go somewhere is to try to explore everywhere but that place first, which in turn revealed most of the directions that I'm not allowed to go in. It's not too intrusive though and doesn't do some of the borderline criminal stuff that some games - even AAA mainstream titles - do, like invisible walls and the like, but it does it just enough that I feel so restricted that I ask myself whether it is even worth trying to explore every time I have the opportunity to do so. In fact, at times it feels as though the game actively discourages exploration and even mocks the concept of it, with most (or all?) of the (few and far-between) "treasures" I've managed to find consisting of just a single coin. The story has made me frown in displeasure several times already, from Loki's eagerness to try a different woman than his wife, his wife's apparent (though not yet proven) acceptance of Loki's "death" and willingness to go with Viktor (for purposes I grimly suspect already, given the tone of the game)... not to mention that Loki has been raped three times already, twice while still a man and bleeding to death on top of it all. Given that all the adult content thus far has been rape (and predominantly the anal kind, which I'm honestly not a fan of atypical though that preference seems (at least I hope that first rape was anal... the implications otherwise would be even more disturbing)) that hasn't been to my tastes either. Ironically I'm not a fan of the art the game uses for adult scenes, which is odd since I found much of the rest of the game rather good-looking for an RPGmaker game (I was pretty impressed the first time I defeated a group of imps and saw their death-animation, for instance, though I think it has been somewhat overused since). The style just looks weirdly distorted and gritty, as though the artist didn't know whether to go for realism or a more cartoonish style and thus ended up with an odd mix of the two... And yet inexplicably, despite the story taking me places I suspect I won't agree with, the art-style being unappealing to me, the adult content thus far done more to disturb than arouse me, and the characters that seem intent to be unlikable (though Loki has improved a little, I think), I want to keep playing it. So yeah... chances are that I will have more to say about the game later. (On untranslated passages I will share that the sign next to the bandit's hideout appoximately says "To the left lies the crooks' house", and the guy in the upper right corner of the market(?) of Fiskestadt (the name of which means "Fishing Town"; Forsby, for that matter, means "Stream Town" or "Waterfall Town") talks in slang, but basically asks if he can "have you" for five Krona. (Krona also means "crown" and is the name of the currencies of several Scandinavian countries.)) Aside from that I've tried SuperPowered, noticing that the game involved incest, but I can say that the way it is right now, there's pretty much no point in playing it. Your energy depletes incredibly fast, especially if you use your powers, you have very limited means to restore that energy, you earn money way too slowly and there is barely any functioning content available, and though the game gives you the impression that you have the choice of winning the hearts of your prospective partners or just forcing yourself upon them, limitations in the current version of the game makes it so that you pretty much have to use force... at least if you want to access the "sex" interaction, which is not possible with the cheerleader, Kelly, since you only ever see her outside of school if you invite her over (in which case you receive a "quickie") and that your mother is disgusted by the very thought of it (as could be expected, really...). There is a power under the category of mind control that allows you to suppress family ties, though I have yet to actually get that to work. That said I like the art-style of the game and the emphasis on girls with slender, petite and athletic builds rather than the excessively endowed ones (even the mother is attractive to me, and not just because she is the mother), and I like the promises the game has for a hypothetical future in which it is more finished, in terms of it allowing one the freedom to be "good" and win the love and gratitude of your fellow citizens, or "evil" and take what you want through brute strength, taking advantage of fear and mind control. I'd probably play it as a hero personally, but it's cool that it offers the choice. Plus, the intro of the game actually made me chuckle... Do feel free to keep coming with suggestions. I'm always curious to see what you come up with next.
spyder2200 Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Elana Champion of Lust is worth a look if you haven't tried it out already good story nice art only first chapter is done but it's a good few hours to get through it. Has character progression, combat (can be mostly avoided if wanted), perk system. I liked it and enjoy looking forward to see what they do in chapter 2 I have some other games I am keeping an eye on but they are more proof of concept at the moment and are on the short side/buggy so I'll just stick with the Elana suggestion for now. http://elanachampionoflust.blogspot.com.es/
bouli0 Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Very nice Thread. Informative and Civil. I like, and respect all of the games listed here. So, allow me to share a game that I discovered this year : Wife Trainer (RAGS). http://www.hypnopics-collective.net/smf_forum/index.php?topic=21766.0 The title says it all. It's still young and (relatively) low on content, but it has a certain flair. A few other games worth mentioning here : - Tales of the drunken cowboy (RAGS) Almost more gameplay than there is sex. It's centered on mind control fetish, but it's enjoyable even if that's not your thing. Very tongue-in-cheek. - Akabur games (renpy) : Witch Trainer, Princess Trainer Gold Repetitive gameplay, nice humour and interesting characters. You like... Or you don't. You can sense that the guy puts his soul into his work nonetheless.
MadGenuis Posted November 2, 2016 Author Posted November 2, 2016 I don't have a whole lot to report this time around due partly to my having a lot to do and very little alone time left, and partly due to the fact that I've quite simply not been in the particular mood required to fully enjoy adult games. That said, I did try Elena Champion of Lust (I really want to put a comma in that title...), so I guess I can say a little about what I thought about it. Eh, I guess it's a sort of okay little game? I may not have played it enough to actually experience the full extent of the story and character progression, but I did nearly fully influence the starting town, and thus far I have to say that I'm not particularly impressed. The story can be pretty much summarized as "some sorcerers took away everyone's lust, now Elena and the Spirit of Lust counter this by turning everyone into uninhibited nymphomaniacs", with no real development in-between, no twists or turns, surprises or clever obstacles; just turn everyone into sluts, that's the goal. Character progression mirrors this, honestly, in that (almost) every character appears to start out as relatively normal, and then (very rapidly) becomes obsessed with sex. Both are (as is honestly a general theme of the game) very minimalistic, fast paced and takes development (to me) too far into the extremes. The art is... odd, I think, in that I seem to find it less appealing the more effort the game's artist appears to have put into it, particularly since every feature possible is sexualized and exaggerated. This is obviously just a matter of preference, but as I've mentioned in relation to other games I personally don't like that, though I do accept it as an inevitability in adult games. Puzzlingly I actually think that the most attractive models in the game are the mostly featureless ones that are supposed to represent the population as a whole, featured after one picks an area to influence. The animations are mostly barely animations at all, more often than not being single images that are just stretched or contracted one way or another. It's a style of animation that I've seen before and know is one of the easiest to perform - certainly easier than having to redraw the character for each frame, as would probably been the case with this style of art - but which I'm personally not a fan of (I don't hate it, but I don't like it either)... I actually think that having just one or several still-frames for every scene would be preferable to this style. (It's especially bad when characters move horizontally or are "knocked down", when the models just kind of glide across the background or flip without the model actually changing.) The combat is very simple, usually resulting in a loss if you're too weak to win and a win if you're strong enough to beat your opponent; very little tactics and skill is required from the player. The garnering of influence seemed like the most interesting part of the game at first, as I thought it clever to force one to weigh the risk of discovery against the potential gains of performing an action, since combat was particularly punishing at first... but then I realized how absolutely trivial it was to avoid combat altogether, turning the accumulation of influence into little more than a game of patience as I kept failing and being discovered only to evade combat, over and over, until the action succeeded. Failing doesn't matter, as you can just do it over and over again. The perks are pretty easy to get once you realize this, too, since experience is earned from successful actions, and with perks comes overwhelming power in combat... yeah. The adult content - at least the part of it I got to experience, though I don't know how much longer chapter one of the story is and how much is left for the end - was... okay? I mean nothing particularly disturbing took place beyond a couple of almost-rapes (though it should be mentioned that I made a point of only ever targeting female townspeople, so I may have missed something there) but there wasn't anything really arousing in there either, at least to me, probably in part due to the style of art and animation. What was there seemed mostly bland, pointless and disconnected, with there being no rhyme or reason to the actions of the characters beyond "want sex, get sex" with little to no regard as to who their partner might be. Ironically for someone with an interest in this particular genre, that kind of promiscuity - worst of all if it results in infidelity, though the setting kind of eliminated that factor altogether since no one had romantic interests in one another prior to the events of the game - don't appeal to me. In the game's favor I will say that I personally find the premise believable and consistent, though - minus a case of intrusion from another world and the breaking of the fourth wall - which in itself is actually a pretty impressive achievement. I can easily believe that a civilization that for centuries has had no recreational or reproductive drives whatsoever would also forget the need to restrict indulgence into those drives and, when those were reintroduced, would show no restraint or inhibition in fulfilling them... though it does make me wonder why the women dress so revealingly if sex appeal wasn't a thing during the formation of current fashion? Clothes I can understand to some degree, ventilation can be important in warm climates, but armor? "If I leave my midriff bare during combat, that'll be excellent." Heh. Ah, bikini armor, you make no sense and really have no place in media of any kind. Overall (as you can probably tell) I wasn't too impressed with Elena, Champion of Lust (hell yeah I put a comma there this time; it's even bold). It's an okay game to kill an hour or two on, I guess, if you have nothing better to do, but it just lacks any kind of appeal or uniqueness to capture my attention. Thank you for the suggestion, though. By the way, as a note for anyone with suggestions in the future, I think it'd be nice if you revealed just a little about what kind of focus the adult content has in a game. It doesn't have to be a lot (I certainly don't expect anyone to write nearly as much as I do... hell, I barely even expect you to read all that I write), but a word or two - maybe even a couple of full sentences - on the main themes or fetishes would be helpful in deciding when to look at which games (and decrease the amount of research I have to do myself, if only marginally).
sen4mi Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Heh. Ah, bikini armor, you make no sense and really have no place in media of any kind. Bikini armor is not something I like, usually. And it is ridiculous, but so are many other gaming tropes. But I also imagine it could be done "right" - with in-game rationale for its existence. If you want to expand on this idea, though, let's do that in another thread. It's too bad, though, that the soulsborne series does not support modding. Graphics quality seems decent, and I imagine that the dogged persistence needed to enjoy that game would lend itself to modding efforts rather nicely. (But I do not have any additional recommendations for games you might like - but maybe you can spend a few years implementing something that matches your taste?)
MadGenuis Posted November 5, 2016 Author Posted November 5, 2016 Eh, I've honestly been expecting to eventually receive the recommendation to "if you want something of this particular kind, make it yourself", which is a fairly reasonable and logical path to point someone down in such a relatively niche and unsaturated genre as adult games, especially considering that LoversLab is primarily a modding community. Really, I don't blame you or anyone else that offers that particular advice, it's the rational course of action to make a thing yourself if that thing does not exist. However, I also personally believe that it's not a realistic thing to aim for, at least for me. I have absolutely no experience with game programming or development, and while it is so easy to say "I don't like this, but I like this" (which is practically all I do here) about the features of existing games, I also realize that it is much harder to visualize a good combination of features or possibly even trying to invent features while trying to create an enjoyable experience. Taking into account my inexperience and my willingness to start over if what I'm working on doesn't please me (I must have scrapped and restarted my first novel at least twenty times before I was happy enough with the beginning to finish it), it would probably take me more than a few years to produce any kind of even sort of passable product... and even then chances would be that the game was never finished and/or never gained any popularity, either because it proved unsustainable for me to spend time working on it or because I ended up simply getting bored with it. The Internet is littered with unfinished adult games that are in development, many - possibly even most - of which are being developed by single persons, and most of which I suspect will never finish development. Don't get me wrong, there are gems and exceptions among them, but statistically speaking it's just unlikely that they will actually ever succeed, and even more so that a game being developed by a single person - one who has no prior experience with game development at all - that neglects so many of the most common and popular themes in adult media will even reach the later stages of its development-cycle. I have immense respect for game developers who believe strongly enough in their vision to try to make it into reality, who are willing to defy the odds in hopes of creating something special, but I quite frankly have enough uncertainty in my life as it is, with writing being a precariously fickle field to make a living in already. If I ever were to actually participate in the development of a game, I think it would be more realistic if I stuck to my strengths and worked simply as a writer for the game, as a part of a team, rather than trying to shoulder the entire development process myself. So yeah... that's what I had to say about that, I think. I recently had the urge to go back and play a little HuniePop, which in turn lead me to deciding to make another specific request in regard to games you could possibly recommend: do you know any enjoyable "adult" dating sims (the quotation marks being there to signify that I mean "adult" as in the genre, not necessarily as a reference to the age of the characters involved)? They don't have to be like HuniePop at all (which is barely a dating sim to begin with, really), but just any game of that type you've come across that you thought was good for some reason or another.
MadGenuis Posted April 1, 2017 Author Posted April 1, 2017 Huh. Well, here we are again... does it count as thread necromancy if it’s your own thread and you actually have a reason to return it to relevance? Regardless, after a long time too occupied by other things to have time to update this thread on my growing list of experiences with adult games – and without any new recommendations to react to, either – I am here to bring this thread back, both for my sake and the sake of those who were or might be interested in it. There is a lot for me to relay about my quest for excellent adult games, probably, but most importantly I want to stress that I am still looking, and that any recommendations are still welcome. I have updated the OP of the thread with a significant amount of information about the activity on this thread thus far and an update on exactly what kind of suggestions I am looking for, but I will restate it here nonetheless: Interesting game play is still appreciated, but should no longer be considered a primary concern; anything that caters even somewhat to my preferences, be it visual novels, dating sims or hentai (that is, comics or animations), throw it in the pot and let’s see if it’s any good. Of my preferences, I will state here as I did in the OP that my main concern is that there is at least the option for consensual adult content, and that my primary fetishes are pregnancy and incest; basically almost any recommendation featuring one of those two things (or even better, both of those things) can potentially be forgiven qualities that may be displeasing to me. (I also have one small additional request, unrelated to the above. I have been contemplating reinstalling Skyrim to see if I can get it to work better/more reliably if I use Mod Organizer to handle my modding needs, and while I have previously been able to find mods for a lot of things, one ambition of mine keeps eluding me: to have a player character with an attractive face. NPCs can be made to look pretty damn good with various cosmetic mods, but the player character somehow is a lot harder to improve the appearance of. So if you have any ideas for that specific purpose, those are welcome, too.) I think that handles the request for future additions to this repository of the perverse well enough. So, with that out of the way, allow me to undertake the task of updating the thread on my experience in the genre (as far as I remember). Oh dear... Though I at the time did not remember that EggsBenedict recommended this to me, I did end up finding and trying Glassix on my own and trying it, and actually ended up playing it quite a bit due not to the prospect of increasingly potent abilities of influencing minds, but the promise of delicious incest with the player character’s decently attractive and likable mother and his equally likable and incredibly cute little sister. That said, however, Glassix has a cast of generally quite attractive characters and an art-style that I approve of, with a good variety of both personality-traits and physical phenotypes; I don’t find all of the characters attractive, but I don’t have to because the wide selection caters to a wide selection of people, which I can appreciate. It provides a solid basis for the rest of the game. The game play, once one realizes how it works, is pretty straightforward: each kind of action can be taken once with each girl per day, setting a maximum increase in affection and obedience – the two main stats in the game – for each day, if one manages to be the right places at the right time... which is not possible to be for every girl every day. Higher affection and obedience means greater control and more content for them. Aside from that the character has access to x-ray glasses practically from the start, allowing one to see any girl one desires in underwear or completely naked. So far so simple, with a decent amount of content for a in-development title. Where I start frowning at the game is the fact that the player character is forced into the service of a succubus, who requires one to bring them a new girl each week to abuse. The thought of bringing girls to her that I have grown fond of, and that are in the process of becoming more and more affectionate with “me”, to be used like that... The girl emerges technically no worse for wear with no knowledge of the event, the only consequence being that the player becomes able to assert temporary total control over that particular girl (which means sex, and only sex)... but I know. And no matter what, I’d rather take a game over or just stop playing than bringing the sister to the succubus. It’s a nice little game with a good amount of potential, and I look forward to what it will have to offer in the future. A game that is being advertised for here that I tried an early version of was Twin Star, which naturally grabbed my attention immediately with the title; incest between siblings is my favorite kind, after all, and there are generally no siblings closer than twins. It was and still is described as a “twincest, voyeurism, dating-sim, topdown [sic] sex RPG”, which sounded awesome to me, and demonstrated a nice aesthetic and an attractive female twin along with a fairly immediate option to at least have some fun with her in her sleep. I followed its progress somewhat closely for a while but gradually lost interest simply because it seems as though the developer either prioritizes adding more characters to the cast, or it was never meant to be a “date your twin-sim”, but rather just a “date-sim, with a side of twincest”. Still potentially enjoyable, but not intriguing enough for me to wait with bated breath for there to be updates for it. Another couple of games in the same vein, also with their own threads here, are Dating my Daughter and Dual Family, the former of which appears to be developing agonizingly slowly, and the latter being too new to be certain of its true potential. Both had very little content at the time I tried them, though (and practically no adult content whatsoever), so there is little to say about them besides the fact that I am interested. MyXXXKin is a pretty straightforward mostly incest-themed game in which practically the only allure comes from its inclusion of incest and a few nice scenes. Progressing in the game requires unholy amounts of grinding, making advancing the game little more than a time-sink with limited entertainment value in which progress is slow enough that I got bored with one scene before the next became available. The art ranged from downright ugly to somewhat acceptable, though the developer has stated that the next goal he/she has is to replace the art of every single scene in the game with some of higher quality. I have played Vitamin Plus some of the way, ignoring the warnings the game offered for content I did not like for the sake of it supposedly featuring incest (which I did see some of, and it was delicious) and impregnation, but the game ultimately proved too frustrating for me to even tolerate. The good: it has a nice aesthetic, mostly attractive characters and plenty of adult scenes. The bad: it has some content that borderline makes me sick to my stomach, it has a definite ending that you know is coming from the very start, it takes the derangement of the main characters too far and, worst of all, it hides most of its scenes, and hides them infuriatingly well. Some scenes are somewhat easy and straightforward to find, even if they are not inevitably part of the story, but others require one to take such specific and unintuitive actions that one could only possibly discover them through dumb luck or by following a guide (and good luck finding one of those). One example of such an action is a day during which the main characters are to take a trip into town and another character has offered a ride. One can search the entire farm (I know I did) and find nothing after establishing that this is the plan for the day, but one has to talk to the character offering the ride again, prompting her asking whether you are ready to go, answer “no”, and then the scene becomes available if one finds it. And to add insult to injury the game actually tells you that you missed those scenes once you progress some ways into the game, though not how to find them, and the only way to get a second chance at finding them is to start over. For a person with completionist tendencies, those circumstances are torture! Once the option to replay discovered scenes became available for me, prompting the realization of just how many scenes I’d already missed, there was just no feasible way for me to carry on... it’s just impossible. Played the beta of a “game” briefly advertised here called Poke Abby, with the inclusion of quotation marks there due to the fact that it, in the beta-incarnation, barely qualified as such. It is a single heavily stylized (odd albeit with its own kind of charm) scene in which a ghost (you) start molesting a girl, only for her to quickly consent and ultimately allow the ghost to have sex with her. The beta was briefly entertaining and arousing exactly once, then it got old really fast. I don’t know what plans the developer has for the finished game, but with what I’ve seen so far I can only comment that it has limited value in terms of adult entertainment. Moving on I discovered not just several new games, but an entirely new genre for games to fit into, one I had previously only known by reputation but had never actually tried for myself, namely the kind of game where you type your actions and/or your lines of dialogue to interact with the environment. The games I tried in this genre were Let Me In, Super Pervert Action: Crisis and Pervert Action: Future, all of which can be found here. While style of these games appeal to me conceptually, both in terms of the image-assisted text-based storytelling and the means by which one interacts with the game, I quickly grew frustrated with the limitations I encountered, namely that you have to write things in just the right way for the game to recognize what you are saying, which can be a nightmare at times. An example of this includes the path to making the princess get naked in Let Me In, which she initially won’t do not because she’s bashful, but because she’s afraid that she will get cold. One needs to tell her that it’s warm (did I mention she’s stupid?) before she will agree... however, one has to tell her exactly that. Not “it is warm”, “it’s warm”. That is frustrating beyond comprehension trying to figure out. It’s nice games in concept, but often end up a test of patience more than of wit. Besides that I have played a bunch of small games at tfgamesite, but none good enough to warrant mentioning by name. I also revisited Nutaku (against my better judgment) and found another game there that did not require (or allow, for that matter) interaction with other players in the form of Crush Crush Moist & Uncensored. Eh... it’s a waiting game, mostly, with passable art and mostly somewhat attractive girls (with the exception of Beaverly, who is a bear... literally a bear). The “adult content” is laughable, however, as it is practically just two nude images of each girl accompanied by some very vague description that hints that you have sex with them. Disappointing, to say the least. I think that is about it; at least it is all I remember playing since my last update here, though others may have slipped my mind. I will include an honorable mention, however, for the occasion of me broadening the scope of my search: Aki-Sora, the story of a boy (Sora) and his older sister (Aki) realizing that they love one another and having lots of sex, as well as Sora somehow accidentally stumbling into sexual relationships with a number of other girls, most notably his twin sister. It is hentai manga with a short anime adaptation, which has the unfortunate consequence of sexual organs only being implied existences; still, it does a good job of depicting the action going on very clearly, so much so that you at times almost forget that there are just blanks instead of penises, vaginas and anuses. (Breasts are featured, notably, in full detail.) The story is kind of uninspired, but still wildly arousing, with some exceptions. Additionally it has an absolutely soul-crushingly sad ending; basically, if you don’t want the fantasy shattered, don’t read the sixth and final volume (the five last chapters)... I sure wish I hadn’t. I also read a comic (not entirely sure if it’s a manga) that I accidentally lost and have been unable to find, which genuinely breaks my heart because I found it extraordinarily arousing. It was titled something along the lines of Family Fun, I think... which predictably doesn’t aid me in my desire to find it again. It’s basically a story of a boy having sex with his three sisters, ultimately impregnating all three of them and marrying the oldest. It’s shorter than Aki-Sora but is all the more effective for it, and doesn’t suffer from the constraint of not being allowed to show genitalia or anuses. It was amazing, and I hope to someday read it again... But I think that is it. And so, with this, I am back.
Snoopy911 Posted April 2, 2017 Posted April 2, 2017 ...without any new recommendations... let's do something about this problem Chronicles of Leridia https://leridia.wordpress.com/download-demo/ it says demo but it's quite long and polished. Might wait a week because an update is expected soon. Girl Life https://www.tfgamessite.com/index.php?module=viewgame&id=597 Version 6.0 seems nearly finished thus you might also wait some days or get the dev build.
MadGenuis Posted April 2, 2017 Author Posted April 2, 2017 Thank you for the suggestions! Chronicles of Leridia certainly seems unusual for a RPGMaker title and probably worth a try, but if an update is really expected to drop soon I think I will take your advice and wait a little to let the game make the best first impression it can. I'm not entirely sure which adult themes the game aims to include and/or focus on, though, and looking at the model of the main character does make me slightly concerned in regards to the general style... namely that her breasts look weird to me, that she wears more makeup than I'd prefer and generally dresses in an exaggeratedly provocative manner. That doesn't mean that the game can't be good, of course, or that it won't appeal to me, just that I would probably have skipped it if I had found it myself rather than have it recommended to me. I have tried Girl Life, unfortunately - or fortunately, really, since I rather like the possibilities of that game - so beyond what is coming in the next update it isn't news to me. I keep a list of all the games that have already been suggested in the OP of the thread (in the spoiler at the bottom), for future reference, along with quick comments in regard to whether I've tried them and what I thought of them along with links to the specific posts where they were suggested and where I detailed my opinion of them. I appreciate the suggestion nevertheless, though, and can immediately confirm that Girl Life is a pretty nice game. EDIT: Just to clarify, it's not that I particularly mind if the same media is suggested more than once, it's just a matter of wanting to potentially save people trying to contribute time and effort. Anyone that feel that they can't be bothered to look through the list can feel free to make their recommendations without doing so; I'm just trying to be helpful, both to people trying to contribute to the list and to people trying to learn from it.
Mirror_Q. Posted April 2, 2017 Posted April 2, 2017 Since you have said A Dance with Rogues.... I´m working on a module (but nothing NWN related) that has female protagonist, incest with her twin sister, intimate and lovely relationship with mom, pregnancy and childbirth. All the sex is consensual with a positive tone and it uses custom systems and mechanics. It´s a sort of girl sim with her school and home chores, hang out with friends, part time jobs... Also it has no end or plot to finish and I add all sort of things I like. The bad things.... Well, my english is not very good and I´m building it on my free time so things comes slow. Right now things can be repetitive (but I´m adding random conversation lines, more things to do and events based on stats.) Here is a topic with the blog: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/60288-nwn1-teen-bloom/
MadGenuis Posted April 2, 2017 Author Posted April 2, 2017 That sounds really good, honestly... like, a more perfect match to my tastes in adult entertainment than I thought could ask for. I honestly struggle to imagine how so many things could be featured in a NWN, but a quick look at the screenshots in your blog already has me amazed by how far removed from traditional NWN that is. I will definitely give that a try, though I will have to find my old copy of NWN and install it again first... Ah, but that shouldn't be an issue. In regards to your English and the rate of development, most adult games today develop at what feels like snail's pace and have the odd error here and there, so don't worry too much about that. I'm not a native English-speaker myself, but I've been told that I'm good at it nonetheless; I could inform you of any errors I notice, if you'd like. Thank you for the suggestion; that's definitely something I'll look forward to trying out.
Mirror_Q. Posted April 2, 2017 Posted April 2, 2017 Glad that the first impression is that good. Hope is the same once you have played it lol; even with unfinished things you will have a close view how the mod plays. Any input on errors is always welcome yes
MadGenuis Posted April 2, 2017 Author Posted April 2, 2017 Wow, that theme music makes me nostalgic every time... may end up playing through the campaigns again because of this, heh. Anyway, Teen Bloom seems to be working. I've only gone through (some of?) the intro, but already I have a couple of things to comment on. The first is pretty simple and purely my subjective opinion, and as such should in no way influence the mod, but... Weird though it may sound, I personally don't like high-heeled footwear (as in I think they are ugly), and they seem to be universal for female characters in this mod. It's not a huge issue and it won't stop me from playing, it's just something I thought I'd mention. Secondly, the corrections I've already recorded in my old notebook. Now, some things in dialogue I've ignored because it could technically be slang or dialect, but there are still a number of things I've noted. (When (...) occurs in the notes it means that the text has been cropped; that is, I've excluded irrelevant portions of the dialogues.) Crap... [Still eyes closed (...) "Eyes still closed (...)" [After taking their time dressing and brushing the hair (...) "(...) brushing their hair (...)" Hi girls! (...) You have a good school day? "(...) You have a good day at school?" (This is just a suggestion, other similar phrases can also be used.) No little flowers. (...) "No, little flowers. (...)" (Just a missing comma.) And lately (...) don't help me with homework (...) "(...) help me with chores at home (...)" (Given the context and that it's the mother speaking, I doubt that she's complaining that her daughters need to help her with homework.) But mom, please! Only this afternoon (...) We will be good girls from now, okay mom? (...) "(...) Just this afternoon (...) from now on, okay (...)" [Mom glances at the girls.] I have given you many opportunities (...) "(...) I have given you many chances (...)" (In this case the two words are not entirely interchangeable.) [Then Selena begins to whimper loud.] (...) "(...) whimper loudly.] (...)" or "(...) whimper out loud.] (...)", depending which you mean. With the first she is whimpering in a loud manner, whereas with the latter she is just whimpering audibly (that is, loud enough for the others to hear it). Yaaayy!! (...) [both girls starts jumping and giving kisses at her mom thankfuly.] "(...) girls start jumping and kissing their mom thankfully.]" (I would furthermore probably have used "gratefully" instead of "thankfully", but it's technically not wrong.) Will keep taking notes when I get back to playing, though doing both simultaneously does make progress in the game slow. I'll get there, though.
Mirror_Q. Posted April 2, 2017 Posted April 2, 2017 Thanks! I know players don´t have the same tastes but you´re the first one that thinks high heels are ugly lol. Anyway it´s a quite personal module; a hobby of mine to put my weird ideas and likes in a game Sometimes funny, sometimes silly and sometimes hot.
MadGenuis Posted April 3, 2017 Author Posted April 3, 2017 Yeah, I know; I have some unusual things that I consider ugly, many of which I've noticed many - perhaps even the majority - think look good or sexy. It's not all-important to me, it's just one of those things where if I have the option, my characters always wear flats. This is just (surprisingly, considering the number of things I've tried) the first adult game/mod I've tried in which there was no option to avoid high heels, so I thought it was worth mentioning. Not that I mind, particularly given how much extra work the option to wear flats would be considering that you've already had to alter the character models and animations to accommodate high heels. (Curiously I also think 99% of all bare feet look disgusting, just to name another odd opinion of mine. It's not like looking at a naked foot will kill my arousal, of course, but feet being in the center of attention might.) Played a little more of the mod (will hopefully get the chance to sit down with it for a bit longer later today) and started over (I read that the mod doesn't work with saves, so how/when does it save progress?), only to realize that I apparently skipped a large portion of the intro by accident somehow (probably due to alt-tabbing), so I have some more notes for the intro. Speaking of which, are these notes helpful to you and will they actually make a difference? Because while I don't mind helping out I won't do it if it's ultimately pointless. That said, here is a new batch of notes: Selena: No way sis! Last time we arrived late at school! "No way, sis! Last time we were late for school!" (A missing comma and a nonstandard expression. "Arrived late at" isn't wrong per se, but it's not what one would normally say.) Mom: Good morning girls! (...) single mother in her mid thirties (...) "(...)in her mid-thirties (...)" Selena: -"She is a beautiful woman (...) and I see how men look at it! (O_o)"- "(...) look at her (...)" or "(...) look at them (...)", depending on whether it was meant to refer to the mom or her breasts. (Presuming here that men aren't looking at her dress.) Selena: -"She definitely has a desirable (...) Her hair is brunette too (...) "(...) hair is brown (...)" (She is a brunette, but her hair is brown. The "too" doesn't seem to belong.) Selena: But when I was a kid, mom! (...) "But that was when I was (...)" (Referring to the mother using the nickname "little flower" and Selena complaining about it.) Sasha: Oh, are you sure? (...) If I remember, you ALWAYS (...) "(...) If I remember correctly, you ALWAYS (...)" Mom: Enough girls! (...) "Enough, girls! (...)" (She is telling the girls that it is enough, not that there are enough girls. Heh.) Selena: [While walking to school, both girls do some chat, laughs and gossips (...) "(...) both girls chat, laugh and gossip (...)" Sasha: Here miss Sally! (...) but mom don't like it."- "Here, miss Sally! (...) but mom doesn't like it."- " Sasha: -"We like the same things and stay a lot of time together."- "(...) and spend a lot (...)" Brandon: -"Brandon likes hot (...) proud of their homeworks. (...) "(...)proud of their homework. (...)" ("Homework" is an uncountable noun.) Melody: -"She is a bit nerd (...) "She is a bit nerdy (...)" or "She is a bit of a nerd (...)" Selena: -"Since not much time back, we (...) "Since not long ago (...)" or "Recently (...)" Miss Sally: Selena, dear! Awake! "Selena, dear! Wake up!" Sasha: Hihihi! You really have a talent as a actress, sis! (...) "(...) as an actress (...)" (I would furthermore probably write "talent" instead of "a talent", but it's not wrong.) Mom: You don't had something important to do outside? And remember that's your last chance (...) "Did you not have / Didn't you have something (...) And remember that it's your last (...)" EDIT: Another batch of notes: Selena: Hi guys! [selena shakes her hand.] (...) My sis and me (...) "(...) [selena waves.] (...) My sis and I (...)" (Or "waves her hand" or "raises her hand", depending on what you mean... shaking her hand doesn't make sense, though.) Brandon: Heya, the cowtits twins! (...) we talk dirty among other things ;-p I don't know why, but being called like that (...) "Heya, cowtits twins! (...) talk dirty, among other (...) being called that (...)" (Also, as a general note since the nickname of "cowtits twins" seems recurring, normally it would be "cowtit twins", I think.) Sasha: Moooo! [Squeezing her tits, Sasha jokes.] "(...) [Sasha jokes, squeezing her tits.] Brandon: I bet that with (...) they can breed an entire nursery! [Taking a bottle of liquor from her back (...) "(...) can feed an entire (...) from his backpack (...)" (Presumed you meant "feed" simply since it makes more sense. Last correction could also be "(...) from behind his back (...)", depending what you meant to say.) Selena: -"A few weeks ago, we meet here as (...) "(...) ago we met here (...)" Selena: -"Living in this closed residence, (...) "(...) closed community (...)" (I presume; otherwise the sentence would mean that they all live in the same house.) Selena: [The girls, covering her mouths, giggles.] (...) "(...) covering their mouths, giggle.] (...)" Melody: I... I must admit (...) [Getting brave, Melody confesses.] "(...) [Melody confesses, getting brave.]" Selena: -"As if I had not heard (...) under the bed's covers at night (...) "(...) the bedcovers at (...)" Selena: -"Poor Melody... Even (...) I will not allow to be her the only one!"- "(...) allow her to be the only one!" Selena: Me too! I confess! (...) And the slut of my sister too! (...) Now I understand why Sahsa finds so funny (...) "(...) And my slut of a sister, too! (...) understand what Sasha (...)" Brandon: Hey, come on girls! (...) This not was the way (...) "(...) This was not the way (...)" Selena: [surprisingly, the girls seems (...) "(...)the girls seem (...)" Brandon: Exactly. No one has never talked about (...) "(...) has ever talked (...)" Melody: Well, I don't care (...) It's only me, or I see a fault (...) "(...)Is it just me, or do you see a fault (...)" Sasha: Pfff... Ey Melly, my silly sis (...) but I'm enough brave (...) "(...) I'm brave enough (...)" Selena: Ah! Will see who is (...) "Ah! We'll see (...)" Melody: Ahem... (...) twins are both the selected (...) "(...) are both selected (...)" Brandon: Happens our most desired (...) "Then our most desired (...) happens." (Should have written down the entire sentence in my notes, here... Eh, hopefully you get what I mean.) Sasha: What you think you're doing, Sele? (...) "What do you think you're (...)" Sasha: Good night Sele. (...) covers herself with the sheet's bed.] "(...) with the bedsheets.]" Selena: Really you don't mind do dirty things with me? "You really don't mind doing dirty (...)" Sasha: As you don't fall in love with me, I'm fine. "As long as you don't (...)" (This one did make me sad, though... I was hoping a bit for some real twin romance. Hope it's still there.) Selena: [blushing embarrassed in the dark (...) "[blushing embarrassedly in (...)" Selena: Why always I must be the one who turns off? (...) "Why must I always be the one who turns it off? (...)" Selena: 'Cos you're always the one who boast of (...) "(...) who boasts of (...)" or "(...) the one boasting of (...)" (Additionally, I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be Sasha saying that, not Selena.) And that concludes the notes I have on the intro... phew.
Mirror_Q. Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 The module uses a database to store the progress (just some stats and days), so you don´t need to save. To start a new game just delete all SELENA files in the database folder. I´m doing the corrections you have pointed out, but if you find boring/tiring doing it I prefer that you just play and give some feedback
MadGenuis Posted April 3, 2017 Author Posted April 3, 2017 Hmm okay. I think I'll just play a bit without taking notes now that I've gone through the entire intro like that, then, and give my writing-hand a bit of rest. It's not that I find it boring or tiring (well, maybe a little), but more a matter of me probably taking ten times as long getting through dialogue when I take notes simultaneously. Plus, I imagine that it'll be pretty distracting once I get to some of the more risque content of the mod if I end up jutting down notes while trying to suspend my disbelief. I added another batch of notes to the previous post (was editing the post when you replied), which makes the list of corrections for the content in the intro complete. I intentionally left out a few missing commas from the list, but most of the significant errors from it should be included. For other people that may or may not be around, always feel free to add your own suggestions.
MadGenuis Posted April 3, 2017 Author Posted April 3, 2017 Have gotten into the mod somewhat more properly now, and while there is a lot in there that I like, there are a few things I thought I'd comment on already: Moving around in NWN was never quick and Teen Bloom mercifully fast-travels the twins around most of the time and takes place in a much smaller area, but being required to walk everywhere is quickly getting slightly aggravating, especially when I'm not sure where I need to go. I realize that it's more realistic, but really, walking around like that is a pain. I didn't notice this at first, but the guys - Brandon and Matthew - look weird. I mean, I'm inherently bad at recognizing whether another male is attractive, but I'm pretty confident that those two aren't. Still, male appearances matter little to me, which is why I usually pick by likability when I play a female character. Too bad, then, that both of the guys thus far have seemed like assholes; unless one of them manages to redeem himself it seems unlikely that either of them will get to put a baby in Selena when I'm playing. Babysat Cindy, which was pretty okay aside from the... "dance". Not only does it look ridiculous (which I suspect is intentional), but it feels like it lasts much longer than it needs to. I also had some odd cases of Cindy not actually leaving when her parents came to pick her up, which was a little weird. Some kind of script to remove her from the party that fails to fire, maybe? I encountered a beach event which needs its dialogues written, with most of the dialogue boxes being placeholders at the moment. Brandon sneaking up behind Selena and presuming that he can have sex with her (despite her still being a virgin as far as I know) just cements my impression that he's a complete asshole, and I hope that the option to refuse him doesn't disappear at some point. Finally, I've encountered a couple of scenes that have left me puzzled as to how to continue, one being when everyone went to church and the other being an occurrence where the mother showed up in the twins' room and just stood there staring at Serena (endearing at first, but then it got creepy). In both cases I ended up unable to do anything and with nothing happening. It felt as though simply waiting would cause the scene to end, but the game gave no indication of that and I had no idea how long I was supposed to wait; in both cases it felt like I waited for a fairly long time of absolutely nothing happening before choosing to quit the game. But still, I'll keep playing for as long as it seems interesting...
