Hello I hope this is okay, but I have a LE that after all the steps I normaly try isn't stoping and it causes the game to lag for a long time/ White out. Best I can track it down is _Currently_ to receiving calls the LE file was the "I'll think of you as we're going off the grid" which is slightly hilarious as the household is Off the grid.  I tracked down several so here are my steeps taken. AFTER normal post updating checks. Incleading repairing the game after updating. 

Also - I did remember to clean the Cash and delete the localthumb..... package each time

I run a Windows 10 laptop

1st Re-downloaded and installed (by deleting not overwriting old mod)  the 3 biggies WW, NP, & BM still got LE's fixed most (+ reading and deleting a few objects that glitched) 

 

2. Deleted the extra folders in my saves reloaded.

 

3. re-checked all script mods, said Bleep it, re-backed up my saves and un/reinstalled the whole game. So all new shiny folders. Tested with JUST the big 3 ( WW, NP, BM) loads of hairless naked sims but it ran great.

 

4. started reinstalling script mods & other mods checking after each "author" (LMS, Scarlet extra, getting it from THERE web sights) Find a few causing problems so left them out.  

 

5. added back basic CC Hair/ makeup/ clothing- Fixed it  so I though.

 

I'm now back to this LE and its happens on a few saves but not all. Seems to be ones played longer so new test saves may not have shown it up. 

 

Any thoughts? Currently going though the CC and taking out any skins & default replacements at all in case, and anything I dont really like to cull it down. 

 

Edit: I did all that on Wes/ Thurs just sat back down to play and see a BM update so I will will now try that that leaves me at: Basemental-Drugs-6.11.127-PUBLIC, Game fully updated and last updates on WW & NP that I can tell.

Is that where you start off with the command ww.fix ? 

I have done that 1 and I've used the few other commands  I found on the other web sight. Sorry I forgot it in my list.  That was before the update though.   Although It couldn't hurt to try it again? 

I tried  moving the household encase it was a lot issue had that in Sims 3 before. 

I just got a LE again when I traveled to the magic realm. It really doesn't like me to leave me lot. 

 

at this point I think it may just be something that cant be fix, I dont want to lose this save (on a legacy challenge 5 in on long lifespans) but I have hit the end of stuff I know how to do, and I think I might have to see if the next round of patches fixes stuff back? Most of the LE's that I looked up on http://lastexception.com/ where unknown error. I had to delete my toddler tablets, highchairs and potty to fix one. that was strange.

I don't know what animation that is, but that is Working As Intended.

 

(If you mouseover the icon in your queue, you'll see which one and who made it.)

 

((And actors in the animation will clip through other objects if they're in the way. Coffee tables and couch animations are bad for this.))

check your WW occult settings, there should be restriction by type(?) option

btw, can we completely disable occults animations? don't remember such an option, will be cool to have it

Again, that animation is WORKING AS INTENDED, except for the sim clipping over the edge of the building. But that clipping will happen with lots of other animations.

 

I'm not going to go hunting for who made it or which one it is, but that's all exactly what is supposed to happen.

 

In other news, my butler was able to autonomously woohoo with the man of the house again. She can also ask to join in if I run into her on another lot. Not being allowed to autonomously fuck is just not fair. If nannies can do it, why not butlers? JUSTICE FOR HORNY BUTLERS!

need help, didnt play for 2 months, so updared both sims 4 and ww, now cant remember the settings and only the sims i click is available which mean solo only, i have 5 other househols.

With this information you are beyond help. The exception file is too old, and I don't understand one word you said. If English is not you native language try better or another or your own.

This new update is amazing! I can't wait to try the porcelain doll! =D is it possible to have a list of the moodlets this mod gives sims? I saw you added about 40 new ones and I'm curious to know them all =P

So... Idk if anyone experienced this, but, my WW is "buggish", or, kind of... Some texts are missing, like, in the sex books, or the porcelain vase related stuff and the traits, they just doesn't appear... Does anyone know how to fix it? Using the latest version

Are you using the patreon version? Perhaps you should report the error you are getting also there.

Have you deleted the localthumbcache.package after updating?

Try also deleting the wickedwhimsmod folder inside the saves folder, reload the game and see if it still gives you an error.

Have you remembered to download animations? (I know, weird question, but better be safe than sorry!:-P)

I use a different date format than what is used in English speaking countries and I always have to remember about that, when I open up an LE. lol

No, no need. I downloaded it,  but the utility threw it out . English is not my native language,  I am used to the format dd-mm-yyyy.

- If you're pasting text, make sure you've selected everything in the file.
- If you're uploading a file, make sure it's the right file!

Only lastException files are acceptable!

What settings do you mean ? The settings of WW were enhanced  the past weeks. So maybe you should start over with  new settings.

Did you retry and download WW's latest update again and install. Please check if both files are unique in your sims4 directory. 

You may consider to move almost all  other mods out of the way, so WW and the animations are the only mods available to sims4.

Speaking of animations, did you also update them all ? I check every month. 

Are there other symptoms ? What else does not look right ? Feel free to add a screenshot.

Thank you both for answering, sorry for the late replying but was in the path of Isaias and I take care pf my elderly Mother's places who's an Astraphobia (AKA fear of storms)  Its been getting worse over the years and the current trend of this storm is to the worst possible storm doesn't help me keep her calm.  Sorry for the rant, but thats' why I love my sims, so much I think, I tell any of them to go here, to this... no lip they just do it. I hope I get time to play today, but still cleaning up from the storm. 

 

As to CC  furniture- yes most are re-colors some are full new items like my lovely kotatsu, or icemunmun's I believe I only had out recolors on the lot but I would have to check. I had a toddler tablet give me errors (Re-colored)  but I think that was because the game likes to stick stuff on the high shelf I used for lighting (candles on my off the grid lot) and the toddler couldn't reach it.  (loves to do that to dirty dishes to if you decorate with them) 

2 traits that I can recall that I kept - both from MTS Immortal, &  sweet trait. I do also have KawaiiStacie's Slice of Life Mod which adds a few.  

No aspirations other then Wicked Perversions ones that I know of. 

 

As I had problems and had to do testing  I culled alot of my CC/ mods and re-organized them. I had a CC bender a few weeks back to get some nice looking sims but I think some had conflicting CC. I decided to just delete all skins.  I may have to go back over everything with the fine tooth comb especially the makeup. 

 

If you dont mind- What pointed you to think of CC furniture...ect? I'm tring to get better at figuring out the LE's so I dont have to bother anyone else.

Ok...you'll see something like...object has no attribute....which can be furniture....or Failed to apply buff...which can be cc traits or clothing that gives a buff....some mods and cc sometimes gets mentioned by name such as object_fabricator...or sims 4 tuning instance trait holiday tradition father winter baby......I recommend https://www.samltool.com/prettyprint.php....it won't tell you whats wrong but it'll lay out an L/E file in a more readable form....bit like a book.

Is there anywhere I can get previous versions of WW? I'm looking for 1.55j, specifically. I really want to use the AEP mod but it hasn't been updated for the latest WW, so I'd like to try rolling back a version and seeing if it works.

I really like the porcelain doll addition and hope that gets expanded on in future versions. Would it be possible to have an option to remove the headpiece? It's distractingly large.
