I've had no panties in Sim 4 for years, this only cropped up recently.  I guess next step is 50/50 testing until I can figure out if it's something I added recently.  Thanks for the suggestion, and if you have any more I'm all ears.

Tried it.Deleted all the caches,started a new game but doesn't work.All the mods are fine.Wicked whims is the only mod that causes problem.

Well, I can only repeat what Cmar said: "If you have custom clothing that's showing up when you take the sim's clothes off, you'll have to figure out what package(s) they are and remove or correct them.".  And if you're getting the salmon (female) or black (male) EA underwear then probably it's not a CC clothing problem.

I had panties (though not bras) come back too, even though I had a CMAR package to remove them.  I traced it back to a package I recently installed:  Leeah_Julia_G-StringMESH.package

While there's almost no reason to think that it's the same on yours, since we did both have the issue show up at the same time it might have been that we both downloaded it from here recently.  If your now-appearing panties are pink and frilly with a little bow, this could be it.  I wish I could remember where I got that specific package, might have been from someone's Sim that they uploaded.

I did extract it and it's sirectly in my Mod folder. I just checked the script mods and its enabled. I dont get any exceptions at all... thats what makes it strange

If you installed your mod correctly, along with animations that go with it, you should get a welcome message. A purple message with version of mod and all

animations you've installed. This mod will bring you only one animation I believe, along with watch porn interaction for computer.

 

Since you probably never used this mod, I'd highly suggest you go through it's settings thoroughly. One option at a time to get familiar with it. Each option is

nicely explained via tooltips that you get when you hover mouse over it.

 

To start sex, click on an object. Try bed for start, and select two sims you want to get dirty with. Pick from 6 categories you like, select animation to start with,

or like most, use random animation.

 

In case this did not help you, please be more specific on what isn't exactly working. This is fairly complex mod that offers various functionality and general question

like "it's not working" won't help us solve your problem.

Sorry for not making it more clear what my issue is.

 

I have been a user of this mod for about a year and a bit now so I have had experience with correctly using this mod.

 

My current issue is that I am not getting that purple welcome box when I start up the actual game itself (as in the actual gameplay bit). I have checked to see if the mod is in the correct folder, which it 100% is, both the folder bit of the mod and the .zip part of the mod. Wickedwhims appears in my mod popup when I start the game in both the script and non script sections. 

 

I haven't used the mod in a few months so I was just wondering if I needed to check to see if there were any mods I needed to make sure were either there or not as I remember that used to be the case. 

 

Let me know if this still doesn't make clear what the issue is.

idk if its ok to link here so here goes, I tend to get sims dying left right and centre in winter, the gym was a dammed cemetery with about 10 simultaneous froze to deaths in one visit, found this mod "Weather NPC Deaths (Seasons DLC)", it stopped working for a bit and I had to turn off weather affecting sims but they patch and keep this up to date really well.

No harm done ?. For the future, when you post, try to include your game version, mod version and preferably script mods you use. Something like this:

 

     Sims 4:                 1.55.108.1020

     WickedWhims:     145e

     Script Mods:         <list your script mods here>

 

You can also attach lastexception.txt file to your post, if you got any relevant to your problem. On the side note, no need to quote entire posts. If you want to address specific member or members, you can type their name with "@" prefix. Quote only what is relevant. We don't like seeing posts like this.

 

Now onto your problem.

Probable cause of mod not showing up can be that you have disabled script mods from loading up with game. Go to your game settings, preferably from main game screen and make sure you enable it. Set options as displayed in the picture, apply changes and re launch your game.

If this wasn't source of your problem, maybe you did not install your mod properly. Read this post to make sure you've installed WickedWhims in proper

fashion. Don't worry about deleting resource.cfg. Game will regenerate it on next launch. Good practice is to delete localthumbcache.package file when ever

you add or remove mods or any custom content. Personaly, I remove every mod and custom content when updating my game and delete

localthumbcache.package. Game will regenerate it on next launch.

 

If everything is done correctly, you should get this message on your next launch.

To test if WickedWhims is present in your game, you can run "ww.test" command from the console. shift + control + C to open console and run the command.

Upon execution you will get "Hello World" printed in console. If you like to see all commands, execute "ww.commands" from console. When you have

WickedWhims up and running, but still have some issues, you can clean your save. This article explains how it's done. Remember, backup your files before you

attempt to fix them.

Is it possible to make so the Sims won't undress their hat when they go nude? I have some body-changes that occupy the hat-slot, and the look weird without it.

Or is there a way to manually set what counts as nudity.

Only if you add it to their nude outfit which is difficult to do, even then some mods will auto clear that slot (WW might).  It is a really bad design choice to put body-changes in the hat category/slot.  I would remove such content and choose other more intelligent CC.

I'm actually having one small issue with WW and that would be that I can't order sex items of a computer. I can click on the option but it doesn't do anything. It worked fine before though. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the fact that I haven't updated to version 1.55.108.1020 yet (I'm using the version right before that) but I thought this version of WW was supposed to be compatible with the older version as well so maybe it's some kind of mod conflict.

The feature works fine for me.  The Sims 4 was just updated to version 1.56.52 and Wicked Whims 145e claims to support it.  One thing I've learned with WW, is that even though the website claims to support several old versions of the game, in most cases this isn't true.  I wish Turbodriver would remove that information since it confuses players and leads them astray.  Most versions of WW will only work for a specific version of the game, sometimes two if major changes weren't made.

 

So as far as I'm aware. WW 145e only really supports 1.55 and 1.56.  There will be problems when using it with older versions of the game.

 

You could try temporarily removing WW addon mods to see if it makes any difference.  I've also heard of possible issues on CC computers.  The feature works fine for me on Sims 4 default computers.

So I've been playing with one family for a while now and after exiting the game yesterday and reopening it today I have no interactions between sims that my sim has not met yet. What I mean by that is that I have no default EA interactions (friendly, funny, romance etc) nor can I initiate sex with unknown npcs. I can still do all of that with sims my sim knows. Keep in mind I didn't add any more mods in between yesterday and today...
Did anyone else experience this? Is it a game bug or it might be some faulty CC?
I haven't update my game or my mods since 1.52 because I don't want to be bothered updating the game & mods in the middle of this particular playthrough but all the mods I do have have been made for 1.52.

Bad idea overall.  You have to live with this then because no one is going to support version 1.52 anymore.

 

The game was updated to 1.56 today.  Are you sure your game version is still 1.52?  If so, update the game and all your mods.
