I will WAIT for all my favorite mods to be patched before I pull my game out of offline mode and accept updates. I have also backed up my installation, s4s and config/mod directories so I can roll back in case there is a problem. It is always a good idea to READ their blog and find out what has been broken beforehand. I know that some developers (like Khlas) will not patch their content until the WW patch is released. In the meantime, I am collecting updated mods and storing them for when I do decide to update. It certainly will save me headaches in the long run and I can still enjoy my game instead of dealing with last exceptions. The good news is that TURBO is working on fixing WW. Have a little patience and everything will be A-OK!

I don't know if it's already been mentioned in another post:
For me, the CAS issue (infinite loading screen) came from the More_CAS_Columns mod. After updating to version from 07/23/2024 it worked fine again.

I dont have that mod installed and I still have the infinite loading screen. I will wait for Turbodriver, I would not be playing this game anymore if it wasn't for him.

There were two mods that blocked me:  More CAS Columns and More Trait Slots.  Updating both let me create a new game and reach CAS in it, but I still can't load any of my old saves so I still have conflicts that I have to figure out but I'm waiting until WickedWhims gets its update before I try to recover my old saves.

moxiemasonss mod is still working just fine for me, maybe you have some other mod conflicting with?

Thanks Veegee96, I removed the more traits mod (thepancake1-MonreTraitsInCAS) and was able to access CAS when creating a new game only. Still, I cannot use any of my saved households for the new game. I can create a new one only. I mean, I could populate the new game with them but as soon as I try to edit those in CAS, I get the infinite load glitch.
I guess we will have to go back to zero.

I bet it's true! I was hacked into only last week. Chinese hackers stole my info and were using my internet provider to buy shit! They're getting worse.

I haven't seen anything about so I wouldn't give FB groups much credence.

People are talking about it on Twitter too, but they probably have Facebook groups as a source... So, IDK.

 

The fact is that a lot of people are being childish and ignorant about the update delay. Yeah, I'm anxious to continue my save too, but modders also have a life. The people who are complaining about TURBO vacations have probably never planned a vacation.

Don't have near the quantity of CC that I'm sure others have, but it was getting a bit crowded and messy in that Mods folder.

Turbo did add a post to their Patreon page advising they would be away when the patch comes out )enjoying themself on holiday I hope) - think we are able to wait a few days to give them chance to get back to reality

Все , что он сделал и делает, это его личная воля и желание.  Наверное, у него есть основная работа. И он имеет право на отдых. Да, бывает, что отпуск совпал с маленьким Рагнарёком. И поэтому я не понимаю истерик на эту тему. Мы не всегда получаем то, что хотим прямо  сейчас. Он живой человек, у него своя жизнь. Мы его лично не знаем и не знаем тонкостей его жизни. Потому что в жизни может случиться всё, что угодно.

He probably has a main job. And he has the right to rest. Yes, it happens that the vacation coincided with a little Ragnarok. And that's why I don't understand the tantrums on this topic. We don't always get what we want right now. He is a living person, he has his own life. We do not know him personally and do not know the intricacies of his life. Because everything happens in life. I hope he has a good rest and releases WW for us with renewed power.

Die Mod von Tourbo wurde noch nicht aktualisiert nach dem neuesten EA-Patch. Ich finde es höchst unverantwortlich, die zahlenden Mitglieder auf Patreon warten zu lassen. Tourbo verdient dort jeden Monat eine große Menge Geld und ich sehe diesen Mod als ein Geschäft an und wenn man ein Geschäft ausübt, hat man dafür zu sorgen, dass seine Knden zufrieden sind. Ich selber bin kein Mitglied bei ihm auf Patreon und möchte mich daher nicht beschweren.
Was mir an diesem Mod nicht gefällt, sind die vielen doppelten WW-Animationen, die in diesem enthalten sind. Ich habe eine Reihe von WW-Animationen in meinem Spiel (z.B. von Mike) Was ich mir wünschen würde, wäre ein Programm, wo man die WW-Animationen ohne WW zuerst anschauen könnte und dann auch Clips löschen könnte, die einem nicht gefallen.

Многие забывают что без вуху игра не интересна и все ждут обнову=_= если тебе интересна игра без реалистики играй, за других не отвечай

Turbo has 14500 paid (!) patreon subscribers. Even if you take the minimum subscription for a dollar... that's 14500 dollars a month. Which of course is not true, there are more expensive subscriptions and the amount goes up.
He also once said he would quit his other job because WW is totally supporting him. 

Repeat your words about will, desire and naked enthusiasm with this information. Lol.

 По большей части, никто не истерит, просто в замешательстве и эти люди тоже имеют на это право. Эмоции это то, что свойственно человеку от природы и ваше "успокаивающее" сообщение вообще не в тему, тк Вы не имеете отношения к разработке мода и к автору мода. Это выглядит как попытка "уровнять" всех пользователей катком и, возможно, Вы пытаетесь подлить масло в огонь (проще говоря, тролить). Что никак не решает существующую проблему.

I repeat. He didn't get a job. And the money from Patreon is not a salary, but a donation. He didn't sign a contract with anyone, he wanted to do it - he did it. He didn't open a business. Like many creative people, he decided to monetize his business. And donations are voluntary, a donation is a donation.  And all this is voluntary on both sides. Turbo may at some point stop releasing mods and has the right to do so. And he can also get sick, go on a binge, celebrate something, go crazy and disappear. Like many mod authors, all this is done according to their good will and desire.  Neither we owe him anything, nor he owes us, we are not bound by any contracts.
