In my case, it was an older version of More CAS Columns causing it. After removing it, CAS came right up. But if you don't have that, I have read that UI_Cheats and most mods that change menu or interface cosmetic appearance can cause it. Mods that add Traits also can contribute to the issue.

i got 12 of this, since the update of 1.108....

 

the new extension pack have many new realationship functions, which do not work together with wicked whims.

This mod needs to be updated regardless if u think it works perfectly in ur game.

Seems a lot of mods that have with relations are broken or don't work properly

The "More Traits in CAS" mod seems to be brokenasfar as this list can tell. This mod seems to be the issue for the endless loading screen.

I was just saying WW was not updated because people keep posting it is throwing LEs as if it is updated. I don't plan on updating until next week, because EA is likely going to need another patch to fix the previous patch, which was for the previous patch. 😑

It came out as the cause.

When I open cas window to fix sim, it doesn't go over from loading window. Will this happen because it hasn't been updated yet?

Don't enter CAS but shift click on each sims of the household and remove some custom traits, I can't tell which one was causing the issue.
There is another mode that can cause the issue: a one that add colomns to the CAS.

 

Thank you for the help, but unfortunately this doesn't work for me . I only have one custom trait and it isn't broken and only one of the sims had it, but CAS would load with the trait on the sim or not in the folder regardless so I know its not the issue.

Just because its working for you in your game doesn't mean it doesn't need to be updated; you're not the only person that plays The Sims 4 and uses this mod. There are other people including me that it isn't properly working for.

That's what I think the problem is. It may be working for some people in their games, but clearly there's an issue with it. I tested my current save with just this mod alone loaded and its causing infinite CAS loading screen for just two of my sims in particular and I can't for the life of me figure out why. Its not any other CC or mods obviously. Loading back to an older save didn't help either.

 

I'm just going to have to wait for an update because I don't want to start another new save, especially if the mystery issue could just reproduce.

Hello, After extensive testing, I've confirmed that WW is causing an infinite Loading screen, (When opening CAS) along with other broken traits of course but WW causes the issue when the broken CC is removed. I'm sure this will be fixed soon

k-hippies terrain mods which make the world look more real are also completely whacked, dont think he updates that anymore so thats had to go, back to cartoony looking worlds

i get it starting the game up if it starts at all, plus it says game needs updating when it already updated, could be an EA issue this

I may have a "work-around" though. In the past, WW worked when it was one "level" down from the Mods folder. Tried it moving the package and script files directly into the Mods folder and so far it seems to be working.

 

Now to find out if the mods that needed WW to work will be usable again, but it's gonna make the Mods folder really full if I have to put all of those scripts in the main folder.

just a side note, k-hippies terrain mods actually work now with WW removed which is strange as i dont see how they would conflict in any way

I had this happening to me for the first time too. Came back to loverslab to see if there was an update or if anyone had found a work around. Sucks that Turbo is out of town right now so we won't get an update for a while, but I think I did find a work around...at least for those that don't use the relationship part of WickedWhims. After someone mentioned the issue being with the relationships and/or traits I looked more into that. With WW as the only script mod installed, I disabled everything I could under the Relationship panel in the settings for WickedWhims, tried getting into CAS using multiple access points (Simology page, cheats, wardrobe). All seemed to be working. Obviously not a perfect fix, but it's something to get people by until an update comes out.

If you have a strip club, it doesn't work now, as its part of WW. If you are not experiencing any issues, consider yourself lucky.

Yep , strip doesn't work here either. So I removed my other 3 scripts including Nisas - standalone WW and it worked but partially.

Waiting for an update for sure.

Don't you think if the mod needed to be updated, the issues it seems to be causing for you would happen with everyone? I would look to other mods you have installed not playing nice with WW. I would start a new game with only WW 180c installed. If the issue doesn't appear, then it's one of your other mods.
