I still maintain that it's because of other mods not working well with WW. For example you mention that CAS isn't coming up in your game. If you use any mods such as More CAS Columns, UI_Cheats or other mods that change the appearance of the interface in menus, these scripts will cause issues with CAS loading. More CAS Columns was the cause for me with white screen in a new game and CAS infinite loading. Or added Traits - those can cause CAS to infinitely load. For me, the issue was with More CAS Column. Removing it solved the issues, and now the mod author has updated his mod. Works fine now.

I've literally tested it with just WW, and CAS keeps loading forever.

 

It seems that the problem is with the Wicked Whims attributes (traits). If your sims have them selected, CAS will simply not load. When I start a new save, CAS loads normally.

I don't have that, and all my Sims have Nudity Enthusiast and Incest selected. However, I have experienced vanilla base game traits causing problems with the game.

My suggestion is take out the mod folder, run a repair game from the EA app, and check if the game runs. If it still won't run, it's possibly a corrupt save file. If it runs, put the mod folder back. If the game starts acting up, move the mods to desktop and try introducing them in batches until the game starts acting up again. I usually start with putting WW in, just to make sure it is not the one breaking the game.

So I don't know what it could be... The fact is, I've tested and verified that the only mod causing the CAS to eternally loading is Whicked Whims.

 

As I don't use many script mods, it was easy to check.

 

I've just tested it again:

 

• Without mods: CAS loaded normally
• With all mods except Whicked Whims: Loaded normally.
• With only Whicked Whims: Fail

Sandatharius, you really have to stop with this kind of answers. It's not because only one person tell she have an issue with WW that is only her. Especially when this person confirm after that she test with only WW and the issue is still here.

Because the mod have some features broken for some people. Luckyly the majority of players don't have big issue, and others have problem, it's not so hard to understand in my opinion ...

 

I know this mod is broken after the last game update, but it was broken on some features for some people before this game update too. So yes for now it's probably linked to the game update, but I've seen you telling this kind of answer before, and I know it's probably a good intention, but it's not helping.

 

Everyone who have an issue with the mod after the game update, have to wait for Turbo's doing an update of WW. But for the others (like me) who had issues before, and since few weeks or months now, they need to send a mail to Turbodriver directly to explain what kind of issue they encount. I've made it, Turbo doesn't have answer me yet, but we don't really have other choices ...

 

Hope everything can be fix soon, because this mod is so cool.

Alright so the only mod that stops me from entering a lot/cas mode is Nisas WP - I tied the updated one but as stated on the mod page itself - it's just a partial update , so it doesn't work (atleast for me)

WW works good , just needed to reset my stripclubs and they are good to go.

 

Turbo will get it done eventually , I'm sure WW will be linked up to the other script mods and all will be well

It is a partial patch, but I don't think it should be preventing you from entering a lot/cas. Do you happen to have any LEs from when this was happening for you?

What is wrong with you? I literally explained that I tested it ALONE without ANY other mods. It is the problem. And again, I am not the only one who has brought up having this same issue. Just because you're not experiencing it doesn't mean that there isn't an issue with the mod and that it doesn't need to be updated.

I get that you're trying to help, and I appreciate that, but I think you've misunderstood me and haven't read any of the other posts that I made after that. My issue isn't that the game isn't running properly, my issue is that WW is causing infinite CAS loading in my game, particularly for 2 sims. 

 

I've already ran dozens of tests in the one save and in older/different saves, and as I've explained I tested with WW alone. It is definitely WW that is causing the issue. All my other mods run fine in the game and I can load CAS just fine with them (even with the single outdated trait I have installed). 

 

I've been playing this game for over a decade with mods, so I know what I'm doing and I already know how to troubleshoot when it comes to mod issues.

it is happening with most people, infact WW literally gives you the id of the problem which is...shock horror WW, keep your nonsense to yourself or do you need turbo to pm you directly to flat out tell you his mod needs a massive update? cos i can make that happen!

I've had CAS problems since the update on Tuesday.

CAS works, sort o, for creating a NEW Sim/household, but the likes/dislikes panel is almost empty..

 

However any attempt "plan outfit" or "change sim" or "select likes/dislikes with a sim in-world, and Eternal Loop loading screen, with loading and CAS music playing at the same time.

 

Thursday's patch was a fix for some toddler related bug, Friday's patch fixes the "everyone always mean" bug. NO fixes for CAS.

 

Then tonight I read a discussion on Steam, and...

 

Apparently Love struck and therefore the new Update, radically change the way "preferences" are stored and handled by the game, so ANY mod that adds likes or dislikes, breaks CAS.

 

 

The Steam discussion claimed there is a mod that "fixes" this, I've tried adding it but no joy for me, apparently it only fixes it for the mods chosen by the author, WW, and kinky fetishes, and X rated porn TV for example, are not on the "fixed" list.

turbo has said himself it needs a major update but hes away so cant sort it just yet, we all know the mod isnt working correctly for Sandatharius, they just want to pretend it is and spout total nonsense for attention

id hardly say they are trying to help infact its the exact opposite, telling people a mod is working fine after a major script change after the creator themself has PUBLICY acknowledged the work needed on it is just flat out stupid, ive reported them to the moderators to have their comments removed before people start breaking there saves thinking its ok to use

  These are the scripts I have. I removed them one by one to see which one may cause preventing me from entering a lot - just the WP gives me a problem.  I tried removing all other scripts-  left just WW and WP - still doesn't allow me. Only when I remove WP it works again.

Is that entering a lot as "play" or in CAS ? If for CAS, removing modded traits to the sims with shift click cheat solved the issue for me, but they may be other reason.

For NisaK, the lot in error (infinite loading in CAS) had a doll in it. For other some sims had the cumshine aspiration.

After the update, I had a lot of problems. The game starts if I launch mods, including WW. However, if WW is enabled, I can't get into the CAS, nor can I download the existing family. Moreover, if I set clothes, hairstyles, character traits, the CAS will not start.

 

And it doesn't matter if WW is running or not. If I remove everything, but only WW is enabled, the family does not load and the error de4ee14f appears.

 

I also noticed that if you create a folder for any mod separately in the Mods folder, then you can't write the folder names in italics or highlight the words in bold, because then the game doesn't start at all.

 

Finally. In my case, the game runs only in the virgin version, that is, only with what the developers put in it. 

So, I can assume that the developers have messed with CAS and scripts.

Did you update the game to a different DirectX driver version? If so, you will need to select the mods options again in the main menu.

Yes, the version has been updated. The mode option is selected. But the problem remained.
