I don't know what to say, as my rangers don't have that problem.

 

After the latest release, I deleted my mod folder's contents, installed CarbonFiberMile's mod's contents into it, and then installed my edit's contents into it (overwriting existing files). I use it with AML by giving it a numeric folder name, to imitate a Steam Workshop mod (will crash AML the first time it's activated, don't worry though). Works fine ingame for me with secondary swords. I don't use primary swords, so IDK about that.

 

I haven't playtested the upk two posts above, nor did I post it for others to play with. It was only posted incase others can help debug and resolve its shadow issue.

BTW SurferJay, could you please add your mods to the file download list? On top of the website, click on add content and select file download. It's not too difficult a process and it helps other people finding your stuff and figuring out whether you updated it.

Update: I've found a fix for this and I've added it to v0.41. Apparently my edit introduced a bad human legs material, this & SFW Bunny Ultimate used a HumanShared folder for their legs meshes, SFW Bunny Ultimate was masking/correcting my bad material, NSFW Bunny Ultiimate does not use a HumanShared folder, and so when I switched to NSFW Bunny Ultimate the mask/correction came off and the symptom appeared. In v0.41 I've moved to a dedicated & corrected legs material, rather than a shared one. A shared one would be ideal, but a dedicated material might be the best course at this time since mods can interact with the shared resource in such unexpected ways. That overwrite was the reason the special parts were peach-colored for my screenshots, rather than pink, up until 0.41.

 

Please redownload the mod and drop its contents into your mod folder. You don't need to re-install from scratch, just-reapply the edit.

I've noticed that when I run the game with the NSFW Bunny Ultimate mod loaded, it causes the legs texture of my Bladedancer units to show as a grid of random-colored blocks.

Symptoms:
1. Always present at main menu
2. Not present in strategic layer when loading into it the first time after booting the game
3. Always (?) present in the tactical layer

  - Upon mission completion it carries over to the strategic layer until another save is loaded

 

Issue Resolved

I've noticed that several of my active mods share files with the same name present in the Content/ folder. Is that an issue for compatibility, or does the game properly handle namespaces?

Well, this shared resource was specifically in one of the .upk files, which are Unreal Engine packages. They have a whole hidden network of folders that the game runs on that are separate from the folders you see in your mod folder directories. Mod directories typically share folder names in their subdirectories, as they are designed to follow a standard convention of subdirectories and contents within those subdirectories. The .upk files are a different story.

 

This is what a .upk file looks like. It's your [bladedancer]/CookedPCConsole/ZZZ_RR_BladedancerMerc_Base_data.upk file.

What I'm asking, specifically, is whether file.upk's content will override other file.upk. I have missing texture for some bodyparts (torso and legs), and they all seems to come from mods that have files which the same name.

 

For example, the file Content/Torso_Pack_GD.upk can be found in both

and

 

Since I have invisible legs and torsos, I was wondering if it was as simple as files collision.

you should only install one torso pack, as per the instructions in the first mod you have listed, they all have the mostly the same items with the same names and references.  you will still have some invisible stuff, I fixed some of that in my clothing fix mod.

Ah, sorry. It really wasn't that clear from the description of the others mods. That and the name of the packs being identical doesn't quite help either :P

 

I mean, those two sentences confuses me:

DO NOT install these with the WOTCTorsoPack or WOTCPropsPack from mrace999, or the WOTC_LL_Pack from Kurwintor.

...

You can install WOTCTorsoPack mrace999, WOTCPropspack Wrex456, and WOTC_LL_Pack Kurwintor or any combination or all from one Modder.

 

 

 

I believe it would help summarizing the information present in some of the pages, as in not copy pasting the forum posts as is (as they are discussions) but distilling the information that is meant to convey. Most of what is in mrace999's torso pack description isn't really helpful in determining what the pack provides and with what it conflicts.

 

So I guess I'll try to remove the extra legs and torso then.

I believe the first line refers to installing all the mrace999 stuff and the others at the same time, the main point being all the mrace999 and one or more of the others, I agree that is not clear. The instructions for most the mods that I uploaded and are not mine are from the original creator of the mod.  The second is my try at clarifying some of the posts.  IE install one torso, one props and one legs.  I use wotc by wrex, for props and torso, and the LL 1.22 for legs.

SurferJay's Bunny Ultimate Modularization

 

Here's a modularization edit I've made for the Steam Workshop Bunny Ultimate mod. (Link to original mod)

Now the outfit is fully modular, with the jacket, sleeves, shoulder pads, backpack, gloves, torso, legs, and boots separated into separate pieces in various configurations, allowing maximum soldier customization.

 

NOTE: This mod contains no NSFW content. Players must use this mod with other mods to achieve such outcomes.

SurferJay's Barebare Mod Redux

 

This mod edit expands Moomany's great mod with the following changes:

- Adds a medium breast size
- Adds a large breast size
- Added toned abs variants of all breast sizes
- Added an upper-legs-only legs variant for reducing clipping with various boots
- Structured the in-game names to make them easier to use

 

Many thanks to Moomany for the excellent Barebaremod mod!

Wow. This mod works SO much better than the $12 NSFW mod.

1. It's modular and so now I can do sooo many configurations!

2. We can use Barebare Mod Redux with this to get NSFW.

3. The pussy in Barebare Mod is WAY better looking than the one from NSFW Bunny Ultimate.

 - Have you seen the NSFW Bunny Ultimate mod's pussy? It's straight from a horror film!

I just dropped an update for the Bladedancer Mercenary edit. I've added six new torso variants for large breasts and I've added two panties thigh variants. Now you can wear this mod's panties with other outfits!

Should these mods/edits be added to the front page? I think we're about to be promoted to page 29, at which point the most casual viewers (who only check the first and last page) might not find them on this topic any longer. I know they're in the XCOM2 mod downloads, but for nearly a decade that wasn't a thing here, so checking them isn't even a habit for me.

I've dropped another update to the Bladedancer Mercenary mod! This update was focused on modularization, adding (torso deco / left shoulder / right shoulder) combinations of the corset and thighs variants of the belts w/panties.

Now you can make outfits like this!

I've updated the Bladedancer Mercenary edit to 0.7, adding camo to the armor and increasing the shoulder pad size to reduce clipping with jackets.

Now it should be easier to color-code your units in style. It can be turned off if desired by swapping two filenames, which is explained in the readme.

Perhaps there's other outfits out there that others could likewise edit and share with this community. I hope to see more modders join in and provide more NSFW outfits. 😁

How about the "Gris Swimsuit" from the same author? changing the top's and/or bottom's fabric to the mesh from the same outfit, or make it a tiny patch of clothing 🤤
